  1. The way Carter said "do you mean that?" after Brooke was telling him how she knows he's a good man, I honestly had a moment where I expected his thirsty ass to just start coming on to her. I was laughing at how hard Steffy's working to try to get Finn to tell her she did the right thing. I hope that Hope convinces Liam to tell some other people, like Bill and Wyatt. (And that's not just because I want Wyatt back). I also hope she has zero time for Carter now.
  2. I've been assuming that the biggest reason they kept his being adopted a secret was to keep what they did a secret. Gotta cover those tracks.
  3. JE makes SBu way more watchable. Also, as much as I hate to admit it, they're kind of getting me with the whole Jason trying to be an active member of the Q family stuff. Him bonding with the Q's has been what I've wanted to see from the character for a really long fucking time. The holy hitman who didn't want anything to do with any Q's beside Emily and Lila got so freaking boring. They've finally actually made him a little more interesting. Of course, the whole pretending to be Sasha's baby daddy storyline is a retread, but the rest of his storyline is actually almost, dare I say it, good? It would be nice if they flipped the "you can't be my parent/child, I hate you" script and had Dante and Gio both kind of only bonding with each other, because they were the ones kept completely in the dark. I don't want a ton of anger directed BLQ's way, because a teenager putting a baby up for adoption is a perfectly acceptable choice, and Gio, by all accounts adored his mother, and vice versa. So he has no reason to be angry at BLQ. Dante is probably going to have some anger, but I hope that's minimal, too, because he's a grown ass man now, and he has to understand how a teenager was scared and did the best she could. Lois and Gloria, on the other hand, played God with everyone's lives.
  4. I was just saying in the episode thread that I had forgotten how good AN and SC can be together. I'm with you in that I'd much rather she reunite with Liam than give Carter another chance. And, with the show seeming to be intent on keeping Steffy and Finn together, no matter what, if we didn't have to worry about Liam waffling, then the biggest issue I have with Lope wouldn't be a problem.
  5. I had forgotten how good AN and SC could be together. I'm surprised Steffy didn't tell Steffy's Husband that he's on a performance improvement plan for not stopping Luna from entering the house. And, again, I get that two of Luna's victims were his friends and all, but I just laugh every time Deacon goes on about her crimes to the psycho killer he married.
  6. Sasha somehow manages to be completely right but totally unlikeable at the same time. She acts like Willow cheated on her when, in reality, Sasha slept with Willow's husband and is now carrying his baby. I thought Willow was actually being sincere in wanting to bury the hatchet and make peace for their children's sake. I hope she manages to find some kind of spine before she finds out that Sasha's baby is Michael's. And if she believes Drew's stupid vitamin excuse... Ma'am, you're a nurse.
  7. I have zero hope he's going to tell Bill. But how I wish he'd tell Bill, and Bill would call Wyatt to come home. I'd love some good Spencer men scenes. So, the Princess is going to likely banish her from the castle at the beginning of Monday's episode, and Luna is going to drop in again Tuesday? She's definitely Sheila's granddaughter. Hey, Carter, have you informed Pepe that you're not interested? Of course Steffy did the right thing. Steffy always does the right thing. Sunshine beams out of her ass, after all. If she ever does, heaven forbid, forget that she's the most super amazing being to ever grace the galaxy, one or both of her enabling parents and her whipped husband will be right there to lick her boots and sing her praises. Liam! No! Although, if she does buy into this, I hope she walks in on Carter and Pepe kissing, so she can just be done with that bullshit already.
  8. All this time, I was sure that the Liam's sick storyline was a prelude to reuniting Steam. Now, though, I think it's about getting Lope back together. And, I have to say, it's going to be really fucking annoying if they're still not breaking up Sinn. Because now Steffy is the super special character who is the only one who gets a man devoted solely to her and her alone? There are like a half dozen reasons that couple should have split by now, but, nope. Meanwhile, Steffy still has the power to fuck with other people's relationships while keeping Steffy's Husband under her iron fist. I laughed at Finn's arms crossed, dad voice lecture to Luna. And, of course, Steffy just bursts in shrieking first, asking questions later never. It's been so nice getting a break from Hobo and Beige.
  9. Yesterday's episode was on Paramount+ last night. (My DVR thought it recording of yesterday's episode was just Wednesday's episode again).
  10. You can definitely tell Dante and Kristina are related, can't you? And, I get it, I'm a parent. Getting that "your kid is in the hospital" call is what every parent fears. I can totally get the fear and anger Dante's feeling. But teenagers do stupid shit. Thankfully, his teenager's stupid shit did not end up actually killing him. And for all of Dante's talk about Gio being coddled, Dante isn't exactly bringing the hammer down on Rocco, the one who ultimately made the decision to go with his brother to a party and to drink. That's not on Gio. It's not on Danny, even though the party was his idea. Rocco still agreed to go, and Rocco still started drinking when Danny wasn't even near him. Rocco has admitted responsibility, but Dante still wants to run all over town accusing Danny, Jason, Gio, and the entire Cerullo family of almost killing his son. Instead of, you know, spending time with that son he almost lost. Drew sucks, absolutely, but in Drew vs. Portia, I'm still rooting harder against Portia. Willow, honey, you're fully aware that, even though Drew is out there proclaiming he was drugged, it's still not a good look for you in a custody case. So, pray tell, why in the ever loving bluedilly fuck did you go out there and stand at his side for that press conference? All of your handwringing about how it could hurt your case is pointless when you're making the choices you're making. Even if you fully believe Drew was drugged, you need to put your kids first. You should have moved, at least temporarily, back in with Nina. You should not be appearing at Drew's side. If the media asks about you, Drew can tell them that you're protecting your children from the media shitstorm.
  11. JMW and AN play much better off of each other when they're getting along. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but they're more likeable as scene partners when they get along. I couldn't help noticing that Luna has gotten herself some highlights and lowlights to more closely resemble her granny.
  12. I admittedly wasn't paying full attention, but I thought Dante didn't say the really bad shit about him until after Gio had left, and it was just him and Lois arguing.
  13. And in the patio doors, too. That just seems even more intrusive to me, for some reason. That's just a bit too familiar for the house of the women you attack all the time and blame for everything that has ever gone wrong in your life.
  14. Carter seems to be doing that thing where he pretends he doesn't know Pepe is into him, so he doesn't have to outright reject her, and she'll still be waiting on the bench for him to see if he gets Hope back or not. Which is, of course, a shitty, shitty thing to do to both women. Of course, it's likely going to pay off for him when Hope pushes him aside to focus on Liam, and he can just go running right to Pepe's bed. What in the actual fuck is Steffy wearing? I'm not talking about the big boxy pregnancy hiding blazer. I get the reason for that, but the rest of it? Yikes. AN did a really good job in the moments between when Steffy started crying and finally said that Liam was dying. Just from her facial expressions, you could see that some part of Hope's brain was already connecting the dots between Liam's weird visit and Steffy's tears. She looked genuinely afraid and like she wanted Steffy to just spit it out but also didn't want to hear it at all.
  15. I hope there is no quarter for Lois when the truth comes out. BLQ, Gio, Dante, Ned, Olivia, Tracy... Hell, we'd better even get a reference to Monica refusing to see her. As for this Dante/Gio conflict, because, of course, there must be conflict between every about to be revealed parent/child relationship, it's flimsy. Gio becoming all hardened and not accepting Dante's eventual apology would be stupid. Dante was out of line, but he was freaked out. And he's almost certainly right about how much Lois and her mother babied him, because they knew he's their grandson/great-grandson, and they were happy to bring him back into the fold and raise him while simultaneously feeling guilty that they couldn't tell him or anyone else who he really is. So they spoiled the shit out of him because they thought it would make up for that, somehow. Once they took him in, though, they should have been honest with BLQ about who he was. Because a baby she didn't see and thought was being adopted by a couple she didn't know, when she was a teenager, is an entirely different situation than a 12 year old whose only parent just died when she's around 30-ish. Also, it will be equally stupid if Dante doesn't apologize to Gio once he knows the truth. For a second, I couldn't figure out what they were going for with Cody seeing Ava's high end credit card, but then I remembered he's been hanging around with Molly, and Molly finding out Ava is suddenly living large again will get her curious about what's happening there. Can't they just come up with a little black smoke animation to play across the bottom corner of the screen or something?
  16. Well, Dante does have a history of forgiving a whole hell of a lot once he finds out he has a biological connection to the person. Even shooting him in the chest is bygones once he discovers that shared DNA.
  17. I cheered when Deacon burst in on Hope and Carter's conversation. And then Carter is right back with Pepe, and let's see what he does tomorrow in response to her trash talking the woman he claims to love. If he doesn't put a bunch of physical space between them and firmly shut her shit down, without leaving her any wiggle room to think there's a shot for them, then he's not even meeting the bare minimum to have another chance with Hope. After that, he needs to be honest with Hope about everything that's happened between him and Pepe, and he needs to apologize for not shutting her down sooner. Because he's basically been keeping Pepe on his hook in case he doesn't get Hope back, and, just like when he's with the Hobo, he doesn't do nearly enough to shut them up when they launch into their favorite topic with him - telling him how awful they think Hope is. Liam is definitely going to deflect and not tell Hope the truth tomorrow. Because him telling her himself would come too close to not being about Steffy, and we can't have that. This is Steffy's story, after all. I laughed out loud when Steffy's Husband told her that he loves the relationship she has with Liam. When Steffy inevitably decides she needs to fuck Liam one more time before he dies, will Steffy's Husband ask her if she wants to use their marital bed or she'd rather he book a hotel for the two of them?
  18. I can't remember now, did Lois know Dante was Sonny's son all along? Because if she did, it definitely gives her all kinds of room to shoot down any anger Olivia may have. If Olivia was protecting Dante, then Lois was protecting Gio the same way. Of course, more importantly, it was BLQ's decision. She didn't want Dante and his family to know about her pregnancy. That wasn't even Lois's call to make. Of course, Lois fucked around with BLQ's choices in other ways, but not telling Olivia was respecting her wishes. Lois allowed her daughter to make the same kind of choices Olivia made.
  19. Oh, Liam, you weren't the cause of the animosity between Steffy and Hope. You were just one of the many issues that played out because of that animosity. Carter, you're still not getting it. You just want Hope to get over it and take you back. He may not be able to get Hope her line back, but, at minimum, he should be standing up for her to Ridge and telling him that the way he speaks to and about Hope is not OK, and that their friendship can't sustain him repeatedly disrespecting her and blaming her for what he did. I laughed when Brooke and Ridge were talking about his commitment to Beige. He's always so lackluster in his statements about his relationship with her. If some other woman says to the man in your life "I know you don't want to disappoint her," and he doesn't passionately respond with "I love her," then is that really even your man?
  20. This. I get that some people have baby faces and all. But when you've got two people together who you've never seen on campus, and they both look that young? It would be one thing if it was NuAidan and Rocco or Danny, because then one of them would look old enough, so you'd give a pass to the other guy looking young. But those two together? When I was in college, I would have pretty quickly guessed they were a couple local high school kids. I've been trying to remember if it was something he did on AMC, but I really can't recall. I don't even remember if he was doing it when he first came on as Drew or if it started after he started turning evil. But it cracked me up when he started doing it while he was standing outside Nina's closed door. I'm fully expecting it to come out at the Nurses' Ball.
  21. Seriously, how come neither Brooke nor Carter is reminding the Hobo that he has some shit to apologize to Hope, the child he raised as his own, for? Of course, he's so self-centered, that he can only mention that relationship when he's whining about how Hope "betrayed" him, not how he called that girl he considered his daughter a bitch and a slut. As always, God forbid anyone remind Ridge/Steffy/Taylor of any of their wrongdoing while they're ranting about all the wrongs they've valiantly suffered. I hope that, when Carter tells Hope that he thinks he can get Ridge to put in a good word with Steffy if Hope apologizes, she asks him when Ridge will apologize for the awful shit he's said to and about her.
  22. I get that Liam is reeling and all, but it's still shitty of him to not give the mother of one of his young kids even a tiny bit of information. Even if he is in denial that he's actually going to die, he's very sick, and he should be talking to both Hope and Steffy about how to deal with that with their kids. Then we hit this spoiler, and I'm reminded that my wanting to see him talk to Hope would detract from Liam's condition being all about Steffy. And now Liam's condition can be about Steffy being the bigger person and setting her righteous anger aside. And, there it is again. Instead of Hope having the emotional scenes where she finds out about Liam with Liam, they're with Steffy. Can we finally find out that Kelly is Bill's? It would be amazing if Liam was actually the one who knew and kept it to himself all this time, but is telling Bill now because Kelly will need her father. I doubt that's how any of this is going to go, but it would be such a genuine surprise.
  23. This wasn't a very interesting Friday episode. Ridge being the same asshole he always is. Liam badgering Hope into giving the wimpy dude who kissed another woman and chose the assholes who bullied Hope another chance. Hope not wondering why Liam is talking like someone who is tying up the loose ends of his life before he dies.
  24. Brook Lynn's biggest issue isn't that Lulu knows. It's that Chase clearly wants the whole story to come out so he can have it out with Dante. So he's going to just keep confronting Lulu and Dante until the truth ends up coming out. Even if Drew does manage to prove that there were drugs in his system, and swears up and down he didn't take them, Willow would be smart to pump the brakes for now. She's worried about what it could mean that Michael didn't want to talk to her, and now Drew has been all over the media with his wild night out. Her best option would be to slow way down with Drew and move the kids back out of his house. It would also be hilarious if Drew's manipulations to make sure Willow didn't get to talk to Michael ended up being a big part of the reason she pulled back from him. I still love seeing Dante parent both Rocco and Danny.
  25. The hobo's whole "but you were apologetic, and Hope hasn't apologized" might hold a teeny tiny grain of truth to it if not for one little detail - well before Carter apologized and gave the company back, the Hobo and his gaggle of assholes were already saying that Carter was led astray by Hope, and that she was the worse of the two. And then there was his response to Carter saying the takeover was his idea: "Yes, but she cheered you on!" Like that's somehow worse than taking the fucking company over? Also, I wish that, when he whined about how Hope hasn't apologized yet, Carter would have responded with "have you apologized to Hope for calling her a bitch and a slut yet?" Why is this show acting like Hope and Carter were some grand love story for the ages? They were two pretty people who were basically just like "well, we're two of the only single people in L.A., so..." Once every two to three years, Steffy does the right thing. So, today she told Liam he needs to tell Hope about his condition. And she didn't act like a psycho bitch when Hope showed up and dared to speak to and smile at Steffy's Husband. Hope would have been well within her rights to tell Liam that, while she has no say in where he stays, she absolutely does not want her daughter around a woman who spends 75% of her days bitching about how awful Hope is.
