  1. Where did you find info on Finn's age, because I was just looking for some established age for him and couldn't find anything. Earlier this year, though, he talked about how Poppy lived with his family for a while right around when he was starting college, and then Luna was born almost a year later. That would put him around 17-18 (at least) years older than Luna, not 15. Dammit, why couldn't Katie have walked in when Luna was kissing Bill? I would have laughed my ass of if she walked in there all smug and ready to demand the results of the paternity test, only to catch that happening. I cannot wait for Finn to find out that Liam kissed Steffy and she never told him. That's where this is going, right? After he's been all morally righteous about what a betrayal it would be to his marriage to not tell Steffy Hope kissed him, he has to eventually find out that she does not share the same moral code, right? And, God, all Steffy does, apparently, is bitch to her mother about Hope? Maybe I've judged Taylor to harshly for staying away.
  2. Since Finn doesn't seem to remember anything, the assumption is that, if it happened, he was severely drunk or on something. Maybe Poppy was already popping "mints" back then, and he got Luna-ed. It would certainly explain why Li hates Poppy so much. That level of hatred didn't make sense when we were told it was basically because Poppy had an affair while working at the hospital.
  3. Maybe Liam can be useful for once, and when he hears about the Hope/Finn kiss, which we know he will, because Steffy will go shrieking to him about it, he accidentally lets it slip in front of either Hope or Finn that he kissed Steffy twice after he saw Hope kiss Thomas. The writers have to know that they're writing the Steffy/Finn marriage lopsided, right? We all know she never told him about those kisses, but he's going to go run and tell her about this. And his dialogue today about how he had to fight to win her trust back and how hard he has to work every day? Not to mention that, if she'd said she needed to talk to him about something, he would have sat down and talked before going into his office. But Steffy suddenly has a work ethic when he says he needs to talk to her? Steffy having one line about wanting to be there for him about this Poppy stuff doesn't erase how uneven their relationship is. On a related note, I bet he doesn't even get a chance to tell Steffy about the kiss, because when they both get home, she'll talk right over him, insisting her news (Poppy's arrest) is bigger than whatever he needs to tell her. Speaking of that, Steffy brought up how Poppy lived with Finn and his parents for a while, so I think we're back to Finn being the father. I'm guessing that Li got a sample from either Finn or Jack and switched that with Bill's sample when she ran the test. Jack killed Tom and Hollis, and Li has been covering for him. Brooke kisses Steffy's ass way too much. Having to assure her that she isn't looking to hurt her? What has Brooke done to hurt Steffy anyway? Been in love with an equally in love and willing Ridge? When is Steffy going to direct some of her anger at her mother? Taylor has proven over and over again that she doesn't want to stay in town around her kids and grandkids unless riding Ridge's dick is potentially a part of the package. As soon as that possibility dries up, she hightails it out of town. So now she'll come back and make another play for Ridge, and, if it doesn't work, she'll be out the door to some conference she never returns from. Katie is just ridiculous. All "well, apparently..." like she didn't drive every single second of Poppy's arrest. I'm surprised she didn't ask Baker if she could slap the cuffs on her and march her out to the squad car herself.
  4. Did they decide they needed to make someone on this show worse than Steffy, so they wrote all this shit for Katie? What a completely insensitive asshole. First, she should have shown herself out right behind Poppy and the police. Then, not only did she stay, but she starts harassing Bill to take a new paternity test. She knows how much he adores Luna, but she just has to hit him when he's down by insisting that she's probably not his daughter. Then, she fills their son's head with that crap, too, instead of letting Bill have two seconds to process everything and decide what he wants to do. Also, I thought a while back that we were going to end up with Bill deciding to be Luna's father even if he's not biologically. I suspect that's still where this is headed. Brooke, stop kissing Steffy's ass. It's embarrassing. She's never going to accept you or Hope as part of her family, and she's going to be plotting with her sister-mommy to break you guys up two seconds after Taylor enters L.A. airspace. I'm also embarrassed for Hope, who was super drunk. But, I will say this - Finn was into that kiss for a second or two. Yeah, he's almost certainly going to be angry with her tomorrow, but the seed has really been planted in this head now. And when he finds out he's Luna's father, he's going to end up turning to Hope.
  5. Yep. Li is a doctor who we have seen twice now not want to treat someone she saw in distress (Sheila in the hospital that one time when Finn took over and saved her, and Tom when she sat there while he died on stage). She can be cold blooded when she thinks she's protecting her family. I'm guessing that Jack is the actual killer (because he and Li both know who Luna's father is and don't want it to come out), but Li was happy to sit there and let Tom die to keep things secret.
  6. Man, Steffy likes to put the bitch in party, doesn't she? "I wish this was a family event." Um, Steffy? Until Danny and Cricket showed up, that was a family event. Brooke is your father's partner. Hope is her daughter (who he helped raise). Hope is also Eric's wife's niece. I keep waiting for Finn to notice how utterly unpleasant his wife is, and that it's not just a Sheila thing, she's like this to anyone who isn't on her very small "approved" list. I cracked up at the look on Ridge's face when Steffy stepped up to make a speech. He knows what he's raised, and he was terrified she was going to embarrass herself, him, Brooke, and the company. Katie "I didn't ask the police to arrest her." Oh, please. And yes, like @GHScorpiosRule said, the timeline was absurd. Katie calls Baker claiming she has "evidence" (side note: "my nephew told me his girlfriend told him" is not evidence). Then she hightails it over to Bill's house. She's a few minutes into yet another monologue about the evils of Poppy, and Baker shows up with the evidence he found in Poppy's apartment. So, in the time it took her to drive from the restaurant to Bill's, plus a few minutes, Baker got a warrant, got a team over to the apartment, searched it, found the backpack, searched the backpack, secured the pill container, took it to a lab, had it tested, got the results back, and drove to Bill's house? Sure, that makes sense and isn't at all absurd.
  7. When Adam was the one who actually came up with Marc Anthony's name, I was shocked. I'm pretty sure that was the only thing he's known this entire season. He is so reliant on everyone else to do everything. Even earlier in this episode, when he was whining about people not sharing clues with him. Why should anyone share what they know with you, when you have nothing to share in return? I was cracking up at how stressed out they all were when he called Adam's name instead of Danny. Calm down, guys. Someone who isn't you is still going home, and the rest of you still know who Danny's relative is, so you're golden there. The clues seem to be so much easier to decipher this season than last season. Danny's was super easy. I'm looking at Hud to win the whole thing. I believe Naomi had his clue? And she seemed to be keeping everything to herself, because she was convinced she was the mastermind of the game. (Which is extra funny when you remember that she was completely wrong about who his clue pointed to). So, with his clue gone, it's out of play until they bring back former players to help the final few contestants. And even then, someone is going to need her to actually show them the clue. Because if they just ask her who it points to, she is going to, with complete confidence, tell them the wrong person. If not Hud, then Shane. Nobody seems to have any guesses about him. But, I also don't think anyone has pulled his clue. Personally, if I was whoever wins next week, his is the clue I'd pull.
  8. Good Lord, RJ. Shut up. And Katie was so disingenuous with her "do you really think Poppy could have killed them?" Like she hasn't been running all over accusing Poppy of exactly that already. And, Katie, you have evidence? You don't have evidence. You have a conversation that you heard about fourth hand. Ugh, not the "daddy" crap again. Make it stop. And that whole scene was weird. I thought for sure she was going to discover some kind of clue when she went to get him the milk. But she didn't, so that whole scene was pretty pointless. I perked up when Bill mentioned Wyatt.
  9. If we have to put up with Tridge v. Bridge Part 7,856, can we at least have Finn and Hope have another one of those "your smile lights up the whole world" conversations for Steffy to overhear? Please? Give me something to enjoy here, show.
  10. I think their age gap is around 6 or 7 years. RB has aged decently well, and TK has, errr... not. So the difference seems larger. Personally, if they were going to ignore appropriate ages and cast one of TK's former co-stars, I'd have rather they went with Alicia Minshew. It would still look ridiculous to see her mothering Steffy, but AM and TK had insane chemistry. I never saw a lick of chemistry between RB and TK. Steffy can't even just have sexy times with her husband without bringing up Sheila and Hope? And if the show is really going to do anything with Hope and Finn, they need to start showing a little more on his side. Have him momentarily picture Hope's face when they're kissing, right after Steffy brought up "and Hope got in your ear," so he can wave it off as Steffy just putting Hope in his head, but we'd still be seeing some movement there. Also, when the two of them were going on about how they had the whole night to themselves, and nobody would be barging in, I was fully expecting Liam to come barging right in. If Ridge gives even one second glance Taylor's way, I hope that Brooke just wishes the two of them well and walks away. On the plus side, we didn't have to watch Katie wandering around town talking about Poppy to everyone she encounters today. I swear, she probably can't even grocery shop without talking the cashier's ear off about Poppy.
  11. Yep. She could have made some arrangements for him to still design for the line while overseas, since him designing HFTF is supposedly some phenomenal success for the company. Instead, she just shoved him out the door and delighted in the prospect of tanking Hope's relationship and her line. Another reason she's a shitty CEO. She makes (and tries to make) decisions that are bad for the company based on her personal childish Forresters vs. Logans bullshit.
  12. This is such a bizarre casting choice. And that phone call was so awkward. From the "Dr. Taylor Hayes (Mom)" caller ID to them repeatedly mentioning that they're mother and daughter. And Taylor is stalking Ridge and Brooke? Has she ever considered getting some therapy for herself? Steffy is a shitty CEO, because she can't be happy for the company's success if it involves a Logan.
  13. I seriously burst out laughing when I saw the news. Talk about a mismatch of character and actress. And I don't know if I don't like RB or if I just don't like the characters I've seen her play. Greenlee was only tolerable with Leo, and Hayden was never tolerable. Considering how much Taylor sucked the last time around, I'm not optimistic that this will be the role that changes my mind on RB.
  14. OK, I have a new dream now. I want this more than I want him to just die himself.
  15. Lord, TJ is a complete asshole. I'm waiting for Alexis to tell Molly "you know, your sister has a point. Do you want to spend the rest of your life with this controlling asshole?" I so badly want someone to tell him that this is actually all his fault. He knew this was a bad idea. Instead of sticking to his guns and saying they needed to wait and find another surrogate, he just caved so they could get a baby ASAP. And then, immediately after caving and going through the process, he started acting like a complete dick to Kristina (and to Molly sometimes) because he's mad that he agreed to go through with the bad idea. And now he's tearing into Alexis, who also knew this was a bad idea and warned against it, and basically threatening to turn one of her daughters against her if she doesn't condemn the other daughter? Seriously, fuck this guy. Can he get caught in the crossfire of whatever attempt Sonny inevitably makes to take out Ava? If it is Kristina he's blaming in the previews, I hope Alexis or Blaze slap the taste out of his mouth. I feel like I'm probably going to have some unreasonable level of affection for Gio going forward, just for his ridiculous reaction shots during the fall.
  16. I swear, my brain does not function when I have a fever. I read this and thought "but Li isn't Finn's biological mother, so using her own DNA wouldn't work to get a match if he's Luna's father." Then it took me a minute to realize "oh, yeah, but Li is biologically related to Poppy, so..." Also, I'm really starting to get back on the Finn is the daddy train. Li, lately, has been very concerned about Luna. And she's talked about how relieved she is that she has a father like Bill. I think that she rigged the DNA test because it's occurred to her that, if the truth were to ever come out, Sheila would be all over Luna. Li may not be able to claim her grandmother relationship to Luna, but she can still try to protect her from her psycho bio granny. So, from what she knows of Bill, she figures that, if Luna is in his life as his daughter long enough, he'll love her enough to still protect her if the truth ever does come out, especially when it involves Sheila. And she was expressing her concerns about Finn's marriage a week or so ago, when she was telling him to listen to Steffy and focus on his marriage. So, she probably also figures she's helping protect his marriage by not letting it come out that he fathered his aunt's daughter. (This whole theory also includes Finn not remembering that he hooked up with Poppy, for some reason. Maybe he was really drunk, or maybe she was already a "mint" popper back then, and he had some of those. And it would certainly explain exactly why Li hates her sister so much. That's a pretty huge unforgiveable thing.)
  17. God, I love when someone who considers themselves the super smart puppet master gets the boot. Someone dropped Adam on his head as a child. Like, a lot. Damn. But, still Naomi was more annoying, and has been since the first episode. I loved the slow reveal of her downfall. First that Gracie showed Shane the clue before she went home. Then that Hud overheard Shane and Mackenzie talking about it. I was rooting for Hud to feed her to Adam, after she kept talking about having Hud's clue. It was so satisfying to see her recoil in shock during the challenge, when the questions all showed that someone knew exactly who she is. And then again when Adam, of all people, said Molly Ringwald. It would have been equally satisfying to see her smugly guess Hud and get him wrong, but this way we got rid of her sooner, and didn't need to see her smug all over the place over getting Adam booted. He can go next time, though. Expecting everyone to carry him when he knows absolutely nothing and doesn't even try to figure anything out on his own is obnoxious. I laughed out loud at "you guys think it's Carrot Top?" And, dude, it was not cool to sell out Hud like that. He is the only reason you stuck around, and you just told everyone how he sold out Naomi. (Really, everyone should understand, though. If someone is constantly talking about having your clue and you being their ace in the hole, you should do what you can to get rid of them before they can use it.) I feel like this season was catered to me, or something. Danny is the only person I have no guess for. So many of the celebrity relatives have been obvious to me either right off the bat, or the second I saw their clues. Adam looks so much like his celebrity relative, and when he said in the first episode that he didn't want to sing for the talent show because his voice it too similar, I realized that his speaking voice is pretty obvious, too. Hud's clue was super easy. I was pretty sure I knew Mackenzie's relative, and as soon as I saw the first part of her clue, that was confirmed for me. Naomi's clue was beyond obvious. I think I know who Shane's relative is, but I don't think anyone is going to guess that for a while. And, even if they figure out that someone in the house is related to that person, they may not jump to Shane. And, of course, everyone (except Adam) knows who Dedrick's relative is.
  18. At some point, they established that she was born while he was in college, and that Poppy was staying with them for a while right before he went away to college. So he's old enough, and the timeline works.
  19. Steffy's entire demeanor for the rest of those scenes after he dared utter any kind of support for Hope was full on "we will be talking about this when we get home, young man." I especially laughed when Hope said they should hire Finn to be their full time referee, and Steffy gritted out a fake sweet "yeah, he's great." When was the last time Steffy wore something to the office other than shorts or a skort? I never even knew that linen booty shorts were a thing. Will may actually be even more obnoxious than his mother. And I feel like there was definitely some revisionist history going on there. For example, when was the last time that the three of them lived there as a family? And then his "yeah, I knew about them, but give me a second." Dude, you showed up there without any warning. How was your father supposed to give you a second before you met Poppy and Luna if he had no idea that you were coming? I was distracted during that scene where Luna and Poppy got back to their apartment, and at first I thought Luna was pulling the backpack out from where she'd hidden it. I'm bummed that this pretty well rules her out as the killer. I don't think it's Poppy, either. I'm thinking that Li, Jack, or Justin hid the backpack in their apartment figuring nobody would find it there, since they were living over with Bill. I really hope they didn't bring Justin back just to throw him under the bus for this.
  20. "Is Poppy happy? She seems on edge to me." Well, Katie, you keep barging into her home, prying into her personal life, and accusing her of shit. I think I know why she seems on edge whenever you're around. And you think Poppy doesn't seem happy, Katie? Have you checked out a mirror lately? You are the poster child for miserable buttinskies. Get a hobby or something. "Oh, I'm not jealous." Bull-fucking-shit, liar. I wish RJ would have been more forceful in trying to shut Katie up today. She is being so unnecessarily bitchy to Luna, who she doesn't suspect of anything, just because she's jealous of her mother. I was glad RJ called her out a little bit about not wanting to go back to Bill the whole time he was trying to get her back, but now the minute he has someone else, she has all these "concerns." See, Hope, it's fun that Steffy missed out on her big trip because of her own hubris, but it's not so fun that now you're stuck with Steffy without Ridge around to do anything to thwart her vindictive business decisions. You should offer to fly her there yourself, just to have a more pleasant work environment. And I've already bitched, at length, before about the ridiculousness of the timing for their fashion line sales. Thomas hasn't been gone long enough for them to have any kind of significant sales numbers for the line without him. It was ridiculous when they used it as a story line point to force Thomas back into HFTF after the DCFS call debacle. And it's equally ridiculous now. The Will scenes were weird. It was like he knew Poppy and Luna existed, but he was still surprised they existed. It was like different writers wrote alternating lines of those scenes without consulting with each other. Also, where has he been? If he's been away at school, it's not time to just be coming home from school for break, it's almost time to be heading back to school for the fall. And Katie was so over the top concerned about how this would affect Will, but it seems like he was just given one quick heads up "oh, hey, your father has a daughter he didn't know about, and he's in love with her mother. See you in a few weeks." She and Bill haven't had conversations with him to have any kind of idea of how he was reacting to this?
  21. Maybe she got tips on reaction shots from JMW? I wish that, after Steffy found her passport, Hope would have said "oh, yeah, the same passport I saw on your desk and chased you down to the elevator to give you. Remember that? When you wouldn't let me speak? And I even held it up to show you when you wouldn't let me talk? That passport?" Because her not saying anything now is going to come back and bite her in the ass somehow, I'm sure. Oh, how I wish Katie would have walked in and heard Bill sympathizing with Poppy over Tom.
  22. Am I thinking of someone else, or did Rick and Maya get divorced at some point after they left LA?
  23. Li needs to start locking her office door to fend off unwanted drop-ins. I like that Hope got to play the Steffy role at Steffy today, with the faux sympathy for her having a sad over Brooke going on the trip. Complete with "well, since the bedroom line is the focal point, it makes sense for my mom to go, but you don't need to..." I was also glad that the story didn't end up being that Hope took Steffy's passport. In fact, she tried to help Steffy, went running after her and everything, but Steffy had to be bitchy and not let her get a word in edgewise, not even acknowledging when Hope was holding the passport up in front of her to try to get the point across over her ranting. I don't blame Hope for having a gloating moment later when she knew that Steffy was screwing herself over, and wouldn't be able to make the trip.
  24. So, I started the episode laughing at the weirdness of Finn just hanging out to watch his wife's stepmother model lingerie. I ended in cringing in second hand embarrassment for HT having to deliver that "oh my God, Bill! You could be in danger" line. Seriously, Katie, stop. Everything about you is cringeworthy these days. And RJ, shut up. Remember when you decided that you weren't telling anyone what happened to Luna, for her privacy? And not only did you go ahead and tell some of it, but you did so in the least responsible way. Luna is still my dark horse candidate to be the killer. Jesus, KKL, I wish I'd looked that good when I was half the age she is now. She is truly stunning.
  25. They did, but Katie has zero way of knowing that. Poppy was at a music festival where he happened to perform 20 years ago. There were likely thousands of people there. So jumping to "you must have murdered him," over that is flimsy, at best. She may as well accuse Bill of killing him, too, since he was also there, and, as Katie kept saying, Bill frequents the restaurant. I mean, it could be? It was bugged while he was working with the FBI to catch Sheila. Maybe he didn't remove all of the equipment?
