  1. I'm assuming it's going to be revealed to be some previously thought dead Cassadine. I can think of a few who would decide to name Nik's baby the heir. What I don't get is how they were able to do this quickly and without Ava being aware there was even a potential issue. Once all the money and any assets were transferred to Ava, they were legally hers. Anyone making any claim otherwise would have to file a suit to do so, at least for anything held in the US. There should have been some notice to Ava that her possession of whatever she got in the divorce was being contested. There should have been some kind of legal proceeding leading to a judge ordering the return of anything that was deemed to not be rightfully hers. And, as others have mentioned, that wouldn't have involved freezing her credit cards. Her credit cards wouldn't become an issue until her payments on them bounced because the account she had set up to pay them had been drained. Again, though, she would have gotten notice of her cards being frozen. And, these days, that would likely happen right away via an email or a notification on the card's app on her phone. Anyway, I'm assuming that Laura and Alexis donating it all to charity on Ace's behalf will bring out whoever that thought dead Cassadine is (my money is on Helena). And then will they just retrieve it all back from the charity, since apparently this law firm in Greece can do so at will when an heir gives any of it away?
  2. Bringing this over from the episode thread: Over on Reddit, someone said they saw an interview with the actress who plays Poppy, and she said that, coming up, we're going to find out exactly why Li hates Poppy so much. I'm taking that to mean that we're going to find out that Finn is Luna's father. Yeah, it could also be Jack, but I feel like making Jack the father would be pointless. He's already lost everything, and he's not a part of the show. And, oh, yeah? Jack cheated on Li? We knew that already. It's no surprise. Now, if it's Finn? There's way more story to be had there. I can't quite figure out the timing. At some point, Li became suspicious that something happened between Finn and Poppy and that Finn could be Luna's father. That suspicion must have come at some point down the road, after Luna was already there, because Finn and Luna had memories of each other from when she was little. But, Finn seems to be completely in the dark about that, so I'm assuming that, if this is the story, he was under the influence of something when they hooked up, and he doesn't remember it at all. Which would be why Li never told him, or anyone, seemingly, why she cut Poppy and Luna out of their lives. And it's why she was so against Luna being in town, because she didn't want there to be any chances for the truth to be figured out. Then, the murders happened, and it came out that Tom was Luna's father. That's why Li softened towards Poppy, because hearing that Tom was the father made her think that all of her suspicions about Finn and Poppy weren't true after all. But, with Luna back out of jail, the truth is going to come out. Maybe there's finally a DNA test done that rules out Tom having been the father. (Really, shouldn't that DNA test have been done by the authorities after they arrested Luna, since not wanting the truth to come out about her paternity was her motive? Or even after they arrested Poppy initially, since that was also, theoretically her motive?) And hearing that Tom actually wasn't the father will revive Li's anger, and the truth will eventually come spilling out. As for the Tom angle, I suspect he was convenient for Poppy to pin the paternity on, so she wouldn't have to tell anyone that her adopted nephew was the father. But, Tom became obsessed with her and with the idea of being a father, so she ran from him and just went with refusing to answer any questions about who the father was.
  3. What even was that? It had to be a dream, right? Is that even how a prisoner gets released? They wordlessly shackle her, take her to an exit, un-shackle her, and then just shove her out the door still in her prison wear? And I can buy that Bill has some pull, and maybe even some people who owe him a favor after he helped with the Sheila case (even though that ended up going all to hell afterwards). But even with that, he was able to get it all done while Luna was still sitting at the visiting room table and hadn't even been brought back to her cell yet? Come on. Electra, what are you doing? That apartment is right by the restaurant, isn't it? Why wouldn't you run screaming there? Or, once you hit that busy street, stay in the busy area. Flag down a car. Yell for help. I get that people don't always think clearly in danger, but I feel like the instinct would still be to go towards people. People can help you. People can call the police and get in between you and Remy. Also, this story would be so much better if they'd taken some damn time to build it up. Show us Will and Electra falling for each other. As it is, his dramatic proclamations seemed silly, because he barely knows this girl. Build up their relationship over some time. They could have brought Remy on when they did still, but don't show us his shrine. Just show us him being a good friend to her, and even maybe befriending Will. Or have Will feel uncomfortable with him, but Electra reassure him that she and Remy have always just been friends. Have her fix him up with a FC model on a double date, even. Then, after a while, we get the scene of her in his bathroom seeing the shrine. It would have had so much more impact on the audience. And Katie, you weren't trying to shame anyone? You know damn well that you said, in front of Ivy, that Electra wasn't the nice sweet girl Will thought she was. You were absolutely shaming and judging her. I'm going to comment on this in the spoiler thread.
  4. Not only was Katie not savvy enough to recognize a deep fake, but even when it was pointed out to her, she was all "but that's her face!" That was embarrassing. Electra, scream already. That apartment is pretty close to the restaurant, someone will hear you, and Deacon knows where you went. Luna is laying it on so thick that it's going to be ridiculous when Bill fully buys it and most likely helps get her out of jail. "If I stay here, I'm going to end up dead." I mean, come on. I had a tiny ray of hope when he asked her to tell him what happened with Tom and Hollis, like he was trying to record her confessing all the details. But I fear that tiny ray of hope was wildly misplaced. I like Luna, but I don't want the story that brings her back onto the canvas to be stupid and make Bill look stupid.
  5. I think she was just piecing together that he did this back in Dallas, not that she knew before that moment that he was the one who did it back then.
  6. Good Lord, how many people has Katie showed those pictures to without showing them to Electra? And, again, with the slut-shaming. "Sorry, Will, she's not the nice sweet girl you thought she was." Fuck off, with that shit, show. Electra, just scream as loud as you can. Someone in the restaurant will hear you. Any chance Luna didn't get someone to beat her up to play on Bill's sympathies? And, for fuck's sake, Bill, how are you getting taken in by her playing you a second time? You're Bill Fucking Spencer.
  7. He might actually be Finn again if they give him something to do that brings him out from the innermost depths of Steffy's asshole.
  8. What "dark truth"? We already know that she killed them to keep people from finding out Bill wasn't her father. And we know how she killed them. What's left? Is firing the victim of AI nudes without talking to her about the issue one of the past mistakes Katie will be confronting? Why in the world, given what's going on now, are they showing us the Ridge and Brooke "destiny" bullshit episode? I have this sneaking suspicion that this episode is going to be some unintentional comedy gold. So, is Bill going to get her out of prison and act as a halfway house for her now or something? As I just said in the episode thread, I don't see the point here unless they're going to revisit Luna's paternity. And Bill doing all of this makes no sense at all. Yeah, he was briefly attached to the idea of her being his daughter and all, but then she killed two people, framed her mother, kidnapped someone Bill cares about, and tried to move from "daughter" to lover. Also, is there any doubt at all that Luna beat herself up, or bribed someone to do it to make a play for sympathy from Bill, so he'd fear she wasn't safe in prison? It would be more believable to me if it was RJ who was falling for her obvious bullshit so easily. However, I rescind all objections if we get Bitch in a Box, Part II. It can be Steffy, her mommy, or Steffy's Husband. Dealer's choice, Luna.
  9. In my opinion, as much as I liked crazy Luna, the only reason to bring her back on is if they're going to revisit the paternity story and reveal that Finn is her father. I do not want to see a Luna/Bill romantic pairing, and I just don't see the storyline value in him getting her out of prison to play daddy/daughter again. Poppy and Li barely exist anymore. Honestly, having Luna be the killer and kidnap Steffy for the glorious Bitch in a Box fun mostly works best if she's Finn's daughter and Sheila's granddaughter.
  10. I'm behind a day or two, and it took me way too long to figure out who fit the profile to be saying "my sister's death/our nephew's wife." I'm sitting here thinking "no, neither Kristina nor Molly is Michael's aunt... Oh, yeah, right, Lucas!"
  11. Both Brooke and Taylor needed to hear that "safety net" conversation. It really says so much about his relationships with both women. And I laughed at Steffy being moved to hug him after he said that. She truly does not care about what is best for her mother. She just wants mommy and daddy together, come hell or high water. Good Lord, Brooke. So, you want to hand wave him, once again, going right to Taylor's bed as soon as any issue pops up, as just a little, what? Misunderstanding? Oh, no, wait, that's what they call rape on this show. A little bump in the road? Way to reinforce for Ridge that he can just keep doing this shit until the day he dies, and that you and Taylor will always be the willing participants, taking his dick however you can get it, no expectation that he'll live up to any kind of bare minimum standards. Jesus. When Brooke said it hurt like Hope can't imagine, or something along those lines, I wanted Hope to be like "um, mom? Do you remember when Liam saw Thomas kissing a mannequin and slept with Steffy instead of talking to me about it? I can imagine. Very easily." But, that would be bringing up something bad Steffy has done in the past, and this show doesn't do that. I've noticed they've changed how they do JMW's hair and makeup recently. Are they trying to make her look younger because she and RB look like contemporaries instead of mother and daughter? Because it's not working. All they've really accomplished is making her look more like Hunter Tylo. Katie, you don't need to tell Will why you fired Electra, but you absolutely need to talk to Electra and answer her questions. Despite all that's going on now, Eric is your BIL and friend, and this is his niece. Have an honest conversation with her about this. Also, even beyond the work issue, you owe her a woman to woman conversation about those pictures being sent to you. You should be well aware that there are so many women out there who have no idea that their naked pictures are floating around out there. Electra deserves that information just because she has a right to know that someone is sending nudes of her to anyone. Of course, you should also be aware of the possibility of AI generated fake nudes. Which is another reason to make Electra aware of the pictures. And, Electra, being reminded of the fake nudes while you're bemoaning being fired for not fitting the company image should have raised a little bit of a red flag for you. If those pictures harmed your image and relationships back home, wouldn't you think it's possible that they're doing the same in L.A.? I love that Ivy could smell the creepy wafting off of Remy. Can Sheila just go away for some reason? I don't care if she dies, becomes obsessed with some random customer passing through town and follows them out of town, commits another crime and gets locked up, kills Steffy and has to go on the run, or just gets bored with her existing life and cuts out. Anything to make Deacon single again. There are multiple women on the canvas who he'd be good with, and SK has chemistry with the freaking props and scenery.
  12. This. After last time, when his man pain wouldn't allow him to have a direct and honest conversation with Brooke about the CPS call, you'd think he would have learned something. But there Brooke is, telling him "I did this for you," and he won't stop venting his sad aggrieved little spleen long enough to ask her to explain what she means when she says she did it for him. So to, on top of that, have him end up listening to someone else and then go running to her? I hope she tells him "no, I tried to tell you, and you wouldn't listen to me. The fact that you did listen to someone else just shows how little respect you actually have for me." And then send his ass packing. I wouldn't even have a problem with her continuing to do what she thinks is right, and get the company back to Eric (with some caveats about keeping Bitch in a Box and her daddy away from Hope and her line). As long as she tells Ridge that, romantically, he can go fuck himself, or his limp beige dishrag, because, on a personal level, she is so fucking done with him.
  13. When they were hugging at the end of yesterday's show, I was yelling at my TV "hey, dumbass, he's staring at the door Brooke just walked out of. Get a clue!" She's never going to grab hold of any kind of self respect, though. She's always been pathetic about him, but nunuTaylor is the most pathetic version of all.
  14. I let out a loud laugh when Beige earnestly told Ridge she's never stopped loving him, and he jumped up to grab her a drink. Are we supposed to see how pathetic she is, or are we supposed to think that, despite all evidence to the contrary, she's a strong independent woman who doesn't need a man? Then we move over to Bitch in a Box and Steffy's Husband. When she said that she should stop venting about the Logans, I said "well, that leaves you with one of two options - you guys can talk about how devoted he is to you, or you can talk about getting your mommy and daddy back together." And, yep, she went with mommy and daddy talk. Related - that big ass house, and Kelly and Hayes are still sharing that relatively small room? Then we have Zende in that ugly ass shirt fantasizing about Brooke getting the company back. Can't wait until he finds out his dumbass uncle burned that plan to the ground. Brooke, honey, go home, gather up his shit, and throw it into a bonfire. Then go be a badass CEO.
  15. And, really, it shouldn't take a halfway decent therapist long to figure that out, once they hear all of her back story. Now, getting her to stop that pattern, on the other hand... Dammit, LW and CM, stop making me like Carly/Brennan. I shouldn't be hating myself this much this close to Christmas. Part of me hates that Cam had to comfort Joss, but then part of me would have been disappointed if he acted any other way, because Cam is one of those characters who is just deep down good and pure, and I wouldn't want to see him demean himself by letting Joss change that part of him. As it was, he was absolutely too good to her, but that's Cam. And I cracked up at Joss's shock to see he has someone new. Like he was supposed to be waiting on ice for her? She should be happy he found someone who cares about him, just like she found someone. Well, you know, not just like she found someone, since Cam's someone came along after he was no longer part of a couple. But, if Joss wants to sell that whole "but Cam will always be one of my best friends" thing, then she doesn't get to feel any kind of way about him having moved on after she cheated on and then dumped him. Why is Nina always so wide-eyed and near hysteria? She needs to dial it down about 1,000 notches. I get she's got a lot going on and all, but, seriously, calm the fuck down, Nina. Willow would be even more naive than usual if Nina keeps acting like this and she doesn't figure out something is up.
  16. I saw the whole Willow/Drew thing coming from the moment they had the scene where he told her about ending things with Carly. There was just something about it. And, honestly, I think that CM and KM have chemistry, so I was interested in giving it a shot. (Plus, Michael suffering? Sign me up.) Then he had hate sex with Nina, and the old school soapiness of the idea of Willow/Drew/Nina had me really hoping I wasn't wrong about where they were headed. Over the years, soaps have jettisoned all of the really dramatic twisted stuff and stuck with the same boring handful of predictable soap plots. So I'm just happy that we're getting a more old school plot that, at some point, all the soaps seemed to decide was just too much or something. Drew could stand to have a little more nuance, though. Maybe CM needs to sit down and pick MEK's brain for how to play the cad an audience wants to watch. Maybe the writers should sit in on that conversation, too. CM is far better as a gray character or bad guy than he's ever been as a good guy. Ryan Lavery lost every bit of his charm and fun the second they made him a "hero" on AMC. At this point, what I'd do to get things back on course would be for Nina to decide to pull away from Drew, because she sees how Willow feels about him, even though Willow still only sees Drew as her hero, not the messy not so great guy he is. They both agree they can never tell Willow what's happened between them, and build things like that for a while. All along, we'll all know, of course, that the truth will come out. Ideally, I'd have Willow find out without them knowing or have her start suspecting something. Maybe she sees them exchanging some looks sometimes, or comes in on the tail end of some conversations that seem intense. Then let her fuck with them a little bit. Keep setting them up in uncomfortable situations to see how they act, that kind of thing. Willow could stand to be a little more gray than just the cheater who, even the men she's cheated on think she only cheats because she has real feelings she can't help, or some such shit.
  17. Lord, Taylor is so thirsty for that man baby. She started to head out and then probably flashed back to how she didn't seal the deal last time because Ridge found out in the middle of their wedding that the thing he was mad at Brooke over wasn't really Brooke's doing. So she figured, just in case there was a reasonable explanation for Brooke taking the CEO job, she'd better get in that bed now, before Ridge can find it out. There's Finn Steffy's Husband to reassure her that everyone who displeases her is wrong, and she's the victim she imagines herself to be. Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy? I wonder how TN feels knowing that he seemed to be headed to a good meaty breakup story, but now he's just there to play loyal sycophant. And Bitch In A Box with her "you know how the Logans are, always loyal to each other." Is she claiming that she and her family aren't exactly the same? And all of the Cliff House Asshole Collective being so shocked, shocked, I tell you, at the mere idea of a parent supporting their child. Like Ridge and Taylor don't act like the sun shines directly out of Steffy's ass and only out of Steffy's ass. Where I want things to go now: I want Brooke to find out that Ridge banged his jock rider because he couldn't wait five minutes to have a conversation with her first to find out what was going on. And I want her to say "fuck him, I'm running this place now." And then I want Zende and Eric to find out how that all went down and turn on Ridge for risking the company because he couldn't just not fuck Taylor in those circumstances. Couldn't sleep on it. Bonus points if they find out that he lost them the company in the first place because he stopped questioning the paperwork when Taylor popped in, and he needed his twice daily tongue bath from his ex, to make sure she remained firmly on his hook. Steffy, of course, will just be happy that mommy and daddy are doing it again, because Ridge's dick is the only way to keep Taylor in town long term. Eric going back to work with Brooke running FC and leaving Ridge and Steffy to sniff Taylor's asshole for a living would be so much better than whatever we're likely going to end up with.
  18. As someone who watched All My Children for decades, it's wild to see RB in a role originated by HT. HT was a full grown ass adult on AMC almost 15 years before RB started on AMC playing a college kid. I can't believe I had totally forgotten about Steffy's stretch of trying to kill off all of her female cousins.
  19. I'm a couple days behind, so, are you telling me that they're done with Cam and we didn't get a Cam/Laura scene? Dammit, show!
  20. Clearly, I know Brooke better than Ridge does, because I could totally tell during her announcement that she was trying to send him a message, letting him know that he could rest a little easier, because she was going to take care of the company for him until he gets it back. And is anyone on the planet more pathetic than Taylor? How many times has this happened, and we all know she's going to roll over and spread 'em ASAP to try to lock him down before he forgives Brooke again. Remember KA's Taylor claiming "I don't want you if you're just here because you're mad at Brooke about something"? She's throwing that last shred of dignity she was pretending to have right out the window. It's going to be hilarious when, right after they bang, Zende tells Ridge what Brooke's plan is to get him the company back, and he forgets Taylor's name. I just hope that Brooke finds out about it and is done with him. And Ridge still bemoaning that Brooke wouldn't kick her daughter and granddaughter out of their home, while he's staying at daddy's place is so spot on for how much self-awareness Ridge has. Is JMW pregnant again or did wardrobe just find her the least flattering sweater/jeans combo possible? I saw an interesting theory on reddit about why Finn has never found out about Liam kissing Steffy (and why nobody mentions it). The writers were just testing out whether the viewers were going to be open to Steam again, and the Steffy fans lost their shit, so they're just sweeping it under the table now and leaving her with Finn Steffy's Husband. To kind of further expand on that, now that I look at it that way: I think the plan was for them to put Steffy and Liam back together and put Finn and Hope together. But, like I said, they wanted to gauge viewer reaction to the possibility of breaking up Steffy and her husband. Thomas/Hope was basically filler, because the writers wanted to play with the actors' chemistry but didn't want to fully put Hope with the man who's tortured her for years. So, yeah, Hope was with Thomas, but during that, we had Finn repeatedly being concerned about Hope being with Thomas. We had him starting to chafe at Steffy's demands he stay away from Sheila. We had him find out about what Thomas did to Emma and become even more concerned for Hope. And we had Finn and Hope, who had always gotten along well enough, suddenly pretty much BFF's. Then we started getting Hope fantasizing about Finn, and him not exactly flirting with her, but definitely being very exuberant about how much he admires her. That was the writers building up to what they planned to do, but also taking long enough to gauge how the fans would react, and, like I said, the very vocal Steffy stans lost their shit. So, they backed out of that, had Hope kiss him, Steffy lose her shit on Finn when he told her, then Steffy gets kidnapped by Luna, and we get the "great romantic reunion" of Sinn when he saves her. And Hope gets shunted off to Carter. So, yeah, those kisses are dead and buried, just like Brooke's kid with Nick and Ridge being a Marone. We are never to think about or speak of them again. It was just an idea the writers floated and decided to retreat from. And Finn only exists now to tell Steffy how wonderful she is whenever she needs a boost.
  21. Yep. And Katie did it without telling Electra why she was being fired. She also did it without talking to Ivy about why, despite Ivy seemingly being Electra's direct supervisor, and without discussing it with Carter first. It's totally ridiculous. Hope was the only person who even questioned it. Carter just brushed it off because Brooke told the two of them about it right as Carter was getting ready to ask Brooke to be CEO, so he wasn't going to question her judgement. Hope kept trying to get more of an explanation, but Brooke didn't divulge any details.
  22. I cracked up at Ridge and Steffy gloating about how the company won't have a competent CEO (like Steffy leaves big shoes to fill), as we see Carter preparing to offer the job to Brooke, who has been and would be miles better than Bitch in a Box ever was. And, "hope ran her line into the ground," Ridge? That's some selective memory you've got there (real shocker for a Forrester, I know). Your daughter ran your company's highly profitable line into the ground when she shipped its lead designer out of the country without making any real plans as to how to preserve the line's quality and reputation. The whole Electra getting fired plot point is so poorly done. No, show, I'm not going to side with the Cliff House Asshole Collective just because you've made Brooke and Katie temporarily insane or something.
  23. I think that's exactly what this is. Ivy would have no reason to side with Steffy, because Steffy tried to keep her out of FC due to their personal history. Meanwhile, Carter is the one who called Ivy in and pushed to bring her and Electra on board. So, you'd think Ivy would be inclined to trust him to some extent, even if she wasn't thrilled by the way the takeover happened. But, now the "new" FC powers that be are kicking her niece out the door over her being the victim of a crime (which they would have known if they'd bothered to have a freaking conversation about the picture), so now her animosity towards Steffy will disappear, and they'll be besties trying to defeat the evil Logans. This show is so damn lazy.
  24. Do they not want us to like anyone on this show? That conversation Brooke and Katie had about Electra was pretty gross. "I thought she was a nice, sweet girl"? Like a nice sweet girl can't possibly have ended up with a naked picture of her out there (or, in this case, a fake naked picture)? After we just had Brooke, rightfully, angry about Ridge throwing the word "slut" around, now Brooke and Katie are shaming a woman for this? Ick. Ick. Ick. And then to not even talk to her about it? This is Eric's niece, guys. You're not going to give her the chance to have a conversation about this? Just fire her immediately? When neither one of you even has the authority to fire her? The worst part is that you know that they're just being so shitty about this to give Electra and Ivy a reason to be anti- the new powers that be at FC. Katie can be kind of uptight at times, and this is the woman dating her baby boy, so I guess I can kind of squint and see her jumping right to damage control. But Brooke? It feels really out of character for her to jump right to shaming a young woman for something like this. Zende kissing the asses of the men who he was, not long ago, complaining about not giving him a real shot in the family company, and Steffy, the person who ended the line he was working on without a courtesy warning, was obnoxious. She's the only one who has a decent wardrobe on this show. The outfit she was wearing the past few episodes was really cute and age appropriate, too.
  25. He's St. Jasus. She never stopped liking him. It was always just Sonny because her issue was never the mob, it was his split with Carly. I'd say also that Jason wasn't around when she became mad at Sonny, so he didn't get his share of that, but, let's face it, he still would have been exempt because he's Jason.
