  1. Yes I have to say I'm loving that SA, DR and EBR is pushing the "back to basics" spiel because I expect good things. I've been watching Daredevil and I have to admit I enjoy the gritty street fights and the connection the heroes have to the public far more than magic and superpowers.
  2. *snort* Oh my gosh is that what she meant? Ok that makes more sense.
  3. He freed her... Hmm. I suppose there is a sort of irony that whenever Oliver screws up and Felicity "walks away" she takes strides in her professional life.
  4. I would rather clean it, wait for it to get dirty and clean it again.
  5. I am genuinely confused about the Felicity-Palmer Tech thing now. EBR said Felicity stayed for Palmer Tech but Palmer Tech fired her and had her escorted off the premises. What? So is Felicity an employee now without the CEO status? Why was she escorted away? I assume she'll use Palmer Tech to rebuild Star City but... How?
  6. I am so glad the Laurel thread isn't busy anymore. It irritated me seeing a single thread lit with conversation when I gave zero thought to that character.
  7. They're absolutely awesome as a couple. I got such feels when I rewatched some season 4 premiere scenes. Baby mama. Agh she ruined everything.
  8. I nearly died of laughter after witnessing this triangle.
  9. I honestly think the writers just ran out of time. Many filler episodes between 8 and 15 and 4 episodes to deal with the break up and aftermath wasn't enough to bring them together in a believable way. Then 3 days (episodes) in show time to deal with Dhark. I said at the end of episode 8 that I preferred the time line where the truth was out (even though everyone died) and I stand by that. As contrived as the baby mama drama was at least then they would've had a chance to take more steps toward rebuilding Oliver and Felicity's relationship.
  10. I think if there's one thing The Flash succeeds at it's these chill moments. Moments at the end of the episode where the characters enjoy themselves after a day of saving lives. In 4A the writers did it somewhat with Oliver and Felicity. But as a team, I can only think of the OTA interaction in episode 3 where they went out at the end.
  11. If anything seeing him at Laurel and Thea's bedside only made me more angry he wasn't with Felicity. I know we've discussed that storyline in the episode thread but what really irritated me about it was I never felt invested in Oliver's rage because I was never allowed to see him worrying at her bedside. They skipped so many emotional beats that episode I just wanted to kick Oliver in the face.
  12. I just posed the question of "what would you do?" in Felicity's situation and everyone said "breakup". One person said "I'd burn him" so... The fact that my fiance could propose, whilst seeing his child in secret would freak me out. What else could this dude do?! Not to mention his past of secret keeping. I actually really liked Laurel's reaction. Not that she hugged baby mama but that she quietly cried with Quentin. It felt kind of perfect. Full on rage would've made me side eye her (even though it would be alowed).
  13. I agree, Oliver's lucky Felicity stuck around at all. If anything, he might have convinced her to give him (another) chance had they had a normal, adult conversation. Felicity had to leave for her sanity and more power to her. Also, given that Felicity forgave Oliver all his past transgressions in season 3, it would seem inhuman of her to go "he lied then, he lied now... I'll give him a third chance". There's a pattern here and she's not Laurel.
  14. Well Diggle was obviously on pain meds during that episode because later on he gave Oliver some sour truth tea. However Felicity herself said "I don't care that you have a son". Ain't nothing clearer.
  15. I can't remember that episode. He introduced Felicity aka his fiance as a friend?
  16. Weird, people really think it's because of the son? The show was so clear on that.
  17. I agree. The only Diggle episode that has been brilliant is episode 11 this season.
  18. If Oliver fake died I'd be OK. But not real death.
  19. I had a somewhat problematic reaction to the Flash season 2 finale. Overall I liked the episode even though the time remnant thing is...convenient. So the time remnant already decided to kill himself because Barry had no time to convince him...right? Anyway, it was a smart finale and I liked it. Then the end happened. This is where my reaction became problematic: I could not care less what happens on The Flash with Barry's many forrays into the past. But just imagine the possibilities for Arrow! Yes something horrible could happen like Laurel lives or something, but I hope when Arrow does have a what if episode it messes with everything *cackling madly* I got excited...for the wrong series. Whoops.
  20. Im so happy to hear Oliver and Felicity aren't back together in the season 5 premiere. I was low-key thinking that because everything good happens during the hiatus they'd have Olicity secretly marry then keeping it secret for the first few episodes. It's not out of the realm of possibility with this show. #ThankGoodness
  21. Is it the "just like heaven" retelling because I had a very similar thought.
  22. I wouldn't mind Zombie Tommy. The only other person I want back is Moira but not Zombie Moira.
  23. Hmm must investigate this episode, I mean scene for science.
  24. You nearly gave me a heart attack... which is mean because some people did love Ray and Felicity together.
