  1. Whilst I find what SA said about Oliver needing another relationship laughable, I can't hate on SA. He's such a trooper with these terrible storylines. Maybe he says he loves them because he knows they're terrible. I struggle to understand WHAT Felicity's storyline is this season. Considering how never mind Havenrock was, I have little hope for 5b.
  2. For some reason it's taken me a while to connect to Ginny whereas every other character I've immediately liked. This episode changed that and I really like what they did with Ginny here. She's suffered more trauma that I originally thought in that she lost her dad and her best friend. She seems like she had little to no friends so the dude in high school was important. I knew in the flashbacks that her dad was going to die that night when Ginny and high school friend were singing Taylor Swift in the truck. It was an "important night" and made me immediately think of the championship game. So I saw that coming then but was still heart broken for Ginny. Great moment for the actress when the drunk driver saw her sitting on the pavement. It also gave some light to how panicky she was at the thought of Blip and Eve potentially leaving. It was almost comical the way she tried to stop that from happening because the very few people she trusts and calls friends leaving would be catastrophic. Thank goodness Blip isn't going because I really thought she shot herself in the foot by bringing him to the GM's attention. I'm leaning towards Ginny feeling more hurt/saddened by Amelia and Mike than jealous. Mike is also someone in her circle and she kind of has to share him now. I can understand how their (frequent?) phone calls would be uncomfortable now. And maybe they'll play up the "lying to her for weeks" aspect. Her mum having that nasty family secret would be like a pressure point with Mike and Amelia. My favorite part was Ginny hanging up on Eliot though. Hahaha that poor guys gets nothing.
  3. That was such a mixed bag for me. I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't care for ragman. Wild Dog is now an irritation and will probably get someone killed, Evelyn is just... there, Curtis should park it next to Felicity. The rags make me LAUGH. I just cannot with them. Like when he was blocking the bullets... What was that? Felicity and her snazzy reasoning skills this episode. I always have to remind myself that writers often do ridiculous things to move the story forward, but letting John sit in jail as penance? Felicity. Also, not agreeing to break him out because felonies. FELICITY. I do think she was using Diggle thinking he's paying for his sins as a way to pay for her own sins, which was nice. But still, so dumb. Grrrr Oliver and being stubborn and lone wolf. I actually enjoyed the prison break out with Diggle, but why did Diggle tell Oliver not to change? That was very dumb and I don't like it. This episode really reminded me that I love OTA and enjoy them working well together. I miss them, bring them back. Finally I'll also say I don't like how entwined Rory and Felicity's story is. Felicity was 2 seconds away from being just as comforting as she is towards Oliver and I don't want that. Who is ever there for JUST Felicity? John's story always felt like John's story, whereas this is like a duo. I hope episode 5 brings something else to the table mxm.
  4. This is exactly what I thought. We keep talking about how Oliver and Felicity pop on the screen, imagine the Mayo seeing that in person and also remembering they were almost married. I'd be worried too.
  5. I was kind of meh about this episode. My favorite part was Felicity telling Rory about Havenrock because OMG SOMEONE HUG FELICITY. My second favorite part was Thea laying some Moira smack down vibes on the reporter. Yaaaaaaas. She was super naive about thinking the reporter would just be totes cool, really Thea you're the daughter or Malcolm Mervyn and Moira Queen. I wish the reporter would end up being some kind of antagonist for Thea.
  6. Felicity's story is the last thread for me. I feel like I've waited since the end of season 2 to get a really decent Felicity storyline. If they mess this up I'm done.
  7. What I find interesting about the first 2 episodes of the season is that if you have no previous knowledge of their relationship, you'd never realize they were so close to being married. They genuinely seem to be in the ambiguous phase where they act "together" but haven't confessed any sort of feelings for one another. I guess that's why's the first Olicity - ish episode is only episode 5 be a use they'll actually acknowledge last season. Frankly I don't want to see Oliver sleep with the reporter. I'd gotten use to "relationship", Oliver so random hookup Oliver churns my stomach.
  8. Oh my gosh #MayoBoo must trend on Wednesday night.
  9. I'll admit Felicity getting (potential) back rubs from someone other than Oliver makes me sad. So touched.
  10. Many good recommendations for the zombie fic, It gets better, but that second chapter really killed my enjoyment.
  11. Yeah I never understood the outcry for Tommy's return. I still think what he did was very heroic so I would never take that from him. Eddie though? Bring him back asap. Iris and Eddie were great together and Eddie was inoffensive.
  12. I never thought of that. I do like that the writer is
  13. I really like that Tommy is I love how Moira can't help but to really like Felicity. It just makes me so sad that it didn't happen on the tv screen. Those 2 had such potential to be dynamite.
  14. This fanfic is super underrated. I almost see it has the Arrow I would've preferred. Existing characters are explored, Moira is still around being her seriously grey self. And most importantly (for me), it's surviving without any of the Lances. And thriving. Yay! ?
  15. It's kind of unbelievable that the writers say they're writing towards something organic between Oliver and Felicity. Like oh the BMD was organic? I DID NOT KNOW. I'm expecting a double date, awkward season 1 scene. Considering we're getting back to basics. That is way organic.
  16. Why do they love Spiderman so much? You'd think there aren't any other superheroes.
  17. Are you sure when she said she's 25 was January? I thought it was meant to be a few days after Oliver left. It was January for us but in show still December.
  18. Ah ok. So I guess I can assume they're 4 years apart. Cheers.
  19. The beginning of s2 she was 25, but the middle of s3 she would've been 26. She told Ray she was 25 a few days after Oliver died on the cliff which was 2014. So she's 27 this year, and Oliver is 30?
  20. Ever since Felicity told Ray she's 25 years old I've wondered if she's 4 or 5 years younger than Oliver.
  21. I reckon #PoppysHusband will trend.
