  1. Oh, and "more hand-to-hand combat" was on my TWoP wishlist for Season 6; and then in this episode Callen had a pipe/fistfight with a guy. Thanks, show! Loved Sam doing his interview during a high-speed chase!
  2. I don't remember the exact words, but this one got a good laugh out of me : Roy: "Yeah, every time I see a bowl of water, I want to slap it." [About remembering Oliver's training.]
  3. Crap! Callen's "long" hair didn't last very long. :( I'd love to hear the story of why. Consolation prize(?): I think that's the most skin O'Donnell has shown on the show. So they literally made Nell into Hetty this episode. Ugh. Go away Nell. This is my "fluff" show, so I really don't remember anything about Draeger(?). Although, lately I've thinking that the show could use some recurring villains. Wish granted, I guess. I made sure to do other things during the Deeks/Kensi scenes.
  4. Yeah, I was hoping the announcement would be for a second season. I read speculation elsewhere that Fox may want to shorten the gap between seasons. (Assuming it gets another season.)
  5. Full season! http://deadline.com/2014/10/gotham-full-season-1-order-fox-850394/
  6. Heh. This quote is screaming for a gif set. If it hasn't been made already!
  7. Current storyline? How about almost all her storylines with Rumple. She's supposed to be the smart princess! Gah I figured they'd drop the phrase at some point, so I'm actually glad they did it in episode 3, so I don't have to worry about it anymore.

    S03.E01: The Calm

I'm with you (and many others), the premiere was going great and I had no complaints -- not about even the Oliver/Felicity "break-up" -- and then the last 60 seconds RUINED everything.
  9. Speaking of Graham (thanks for remembering him, show), I still don't think anyone knows that Regina killed him.
  10. So what you're saying is, this pretty much guaranteed to happen? ;-) (Nonsensical disregard of "canon" has never stopped these writers before!)
  11. So this is in syndication now, and I've finally seen the origins of the yogurt gag! I've seen most of the episodes, but it's mainly been the later seasons.
  12. Oh, and I thought the obvious solution would be to have Roland kiss his mother; but I guess they love ripping hearts out too much to do that. More amnesia? It should be a drinking game with this show.
  13. It feels like the show is going to run out of different ice/snow-related images for the title card.... And you just know that she heard everything and it's going to bite them all later. Dude! You still left her with stroller on the ground! Come on.
  14. A crossover? Eh-- I don't those two shows to be in the same universe. (But I'm willing to admit that both shows are equally ridiculous.)
  15. I thought we could use a Fun thread. Oswald is trying to work his way up to flamboyant crime boss; what does he learn on his way there? ------------ Dear Diary: Scamps make horrible ransom bait. However, their warm sweaters come in handy.
  16. This was the biggest problem for me -- plot-wise. She already knows that he already knows that he is on to her. And then she also attacks his girlfriend. Obviously, it's not smart, when I think we're supposed to be impressed with her scheming. Somewhere, a CSI writer just bolted upright in a cold sweat. The show could do with focusing on just few of the characters and fleshing them out. I'd really like more backstory/details on a few of the main characters. Nah... he's not an overtly a mini-version of his adult persona --yet-- like Selina is. I don't think he is; and I just don't like this type of reasoning, anyway. Oswald made his own choices, and Gordon had no idea what he would do after saving his life. I don't think that makes him responsible for Oswald's actions. Are we supposed to like Montoya/Allen? Because all they've done so far is be a pain in the neck for Gordon. Either give them something to do, or leave them out of the episode.
  17. You don't know how happy I was that John Cho/Gabby Union was the first thing they talked about! (That show was crap, but I still 'ship them.) Didn't know about Darren Criss being "stealth Asian".
  18. Gahahayyyyyhhhh....!!! Wow. What is wrong with him? (rhetorical--where to start??) With that reasoning, I guess white guys make the best presidents and black guys make the best criminals 'cause NUMBERS. Is he really complaining that's there's not enough white people around? He really doesn't know that others factors play into these issues/results?? Gaaaah
  19. The article refers to a TV show, but I putting it here since the issue is more of a Hollywood thing: "Painting down." AKA using makeup on a (most likely, white) stunt person to match the race of the (darker-skinned/ethnic) actor. The issue is that there are enough ethnically/racially diverse stunt performers available nowadays so that casting/stunt coordinators should hire them, instead of painting down a white stunt performer. I'd never been aware of this issue before, but thinking about it, it makes sense that something like this would be going on in Hollywood. The article uses the term "blackface", but I wouldn't go so far. It's a completely different intent.
  20. I'm still interested, and I'm willing to ride out the bumpiness to find out who the killer is; but the constant red herrings might be a problem.
  21. From SyFy's press release (via The Futon Critic):
  22. Team Felicity/Barry! It'd be long distance, but they could make it work. :)

The makeup they put around his eyes doesn't match the color of his mask. I don't know what the best solution would be, tough.
