. On the episode "All About Jill" when they were talking about Derick, his mom said as he was leaving for Nepal he asked her to give his contact information to Jim Bob. I think Derick and his family are more conservative than what we see on the show.

I can't remember which episode this was but I remember a TH with Jill & Jana. Jana on the left, Jil on the right and the producers asked if anyone else besides Jessa was courting and Jill said "not that we know of" while elbowing Jana and they both laughed. I definitely thought something was going on there...

I agree with Catlyn, Jill's dresses were simple and even with the white slip they could be worn again on a spring/summer day and would look like a regular modest dress. Jessa' dresses however were that horrible jersey stretch fabric with weird gathering on the front and sides. I'd wonder if someone had no style if they wore it out in public, lol.

I think Jill looks more pronounced in the couples picture because she isn't turned into Derick. At first I thought Derick should have been behind Jill, but looking at it again, D&J would be in the same pose as B&J. Which would have balanced the picture out. But I'm a stickler for things to be the same in posed pictures like this. I hate when you see someone turned the wrong way or holding their hands/arm a weird way. If I ever get married, I know I'll only have a few bridesmaids, friends of mine and I much prefer the cute, silly interesting pictures, but I'll definitely get the standard posed pictures as well. I actually wish Jill had gotten the long picture of everyone on the stage instead of the mismosh of the Duggars in a weird configuration. It would have made for a nicer framed picture.

Jill's wedding is on and they're showing bonus scenes. They showed an extra clip of Jill & Derick opening the littles pottery gifts. The most interesting is that Dan was missing just a few hours before the wedding. He showed up & mumbled something about where he was but neither he or Derick said where he was on camera. I'm speculating it wasn't fundie standards LOL!

I'm calling it now. Amber dies in childbirth but the baby lives. With all the talk from Adam & Drew about helping Amber & the comment that they always talk care of their own, I think it's a definite possibility. Zeke also seems to really be invested in Amber, so I think it fits the bill of "hitting the family in different ways" since Amber was a daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin & friend.

I think I remember some of the guests saying they stayed at a lodge in Arkansas and JB foot the bill. I'm not sure how much that added to the cost though. From pictures, it looked like they had a lot of food at the TTH but I'm sure it wasn't catered, nice food.

After all the talk of Derick dipping Jill, I thought he'd dip her sideways so you'd see the kiss. Like we saw in one of the posed wedding pictures and in the kissing picture of Mechelle and JB in front of the car that they show. I'm wondering if it was almost deliberate so that the cameras didn't catch it? Since he dipped her backwards. From the rehearsal, it seemed like Derick & Jill planned to run out after the ceremony. I think all the other couples followed suit and it wasn't planned. I thought it was kind of cute but a shame because Derick & Jill probably wanted the rest to walk out which would give them more time. I also was surprised at what was left out, I would have liked to see some explaining of the mother/father wedding attire, heard from the groomsmen & other guests. It also looked like D&J left the reception quickly. It's a shame they didn't have tables for people to sit down. Even Priscilla & TFDW had decorated tables and the cake cutting was a moment everyone watched from their seats.

Major nitpick. I'm watching "They Shoot Gilmores" and Dean just broke up with Rory on the dance floor. He causes a scene and Rory leaves, then some time goes by, a few minutes I'm guessing and Lorelai comes back onto the dance floor looking for Rory. Except, Lorelai was sitting on the benches of the dance floor with Luke while he is repairing her shoe. How did she not see Dean blow up at Rory?? Were they sitting outside and didnt notice Rory walk out? Then she magically reappears right after Kirk wins, convenient so she could cry with Lorelai but annoying because they couldn't win. That part of the episode always frustrates me.

YES. I loved that she put her hand up and said "pops" in a "geez" tone. I like that they also spent the day together and that Jill was so confidently saying "we're going to see how Mom is doing" Man, I wish they hadn't gotten pregnant so quickly :( LMAO at "Derick came back to the bridal suite and I shaved him".

I cannot stand Vanessa Simmons' voice. She sounds like a 13 year old girl. I also don't understand why she is is Vanessa Simms on this show....does she not want to be seen as Simmons??

Jill had a few more showers than her midwifery clients. I believe Derrick's church gave them a shower and pounding. Pounding parties were more common back in the day to supply the woman with "pounds" of things (sugar, flour etc) to stock a pantry and start their lives. She may have had another shower that she posted on Instagram also.

I also agree that I hope Jill has a lot of boys. Maybe they'll all end up being Dad's buddies and they'll grow up hearing about his time in college, his job and his relationship with his family. Then they'll want to do those things too and will end up like Derick.

Lost and Found/There's The Rub were on ABC Family today. They are probably 2 of my favorite episodes. I just love Luke & Lorelai apartment shopping and all the Jess & Rory scenes.

I just had a thought-what if the memory game is where Phil popped up in each city? Wait, never mind because not all the teams would have seen him. It's always interesting to speculate what the end task will be!

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this yet but Mackynzie is awesome. In a TH with Michael she said "I'm going to meet a guy and know him and know him and know him really well, then we'll get married" I LOVE that she said "know him" 3 times! Anna's got her priorities straight with that one! I also think Derick likes and enjoys being around James. He even thanked him for his help with the mailbox & seemed very genuine. I bet he likes all of Jill's "kids" though.

Jill & Derick just gave a pregnancy update on TLC. They said they have a lot of evidence/things that make them think they're having a girl but they don't know the sex yet. Then they say "stay tuned to TLC for a big announcement on October 21st". I'm betting because of her "showing" that they think or know they are having twins. I can't think of what else would be a "big" announcement. Unless God help us, Michelle is expecting too.

They're marathoning the show today because the 4th season premieres tonight. I'm excited its back!

I'm guessing the next episode will be shopping for the gift registries. That'll be riveting, I'm sure!

Honestly, after seeing the episode, I like the dresses & shoes. Both are pieces that the girls will wear again & are versatile. Considering all the modesty talk, the dresses & shoes could have been boat neck horrible ugly satin dresses with Mary Jane's covering the whole foot for each girl. I think the dresses could have been tailored better but Jana did a much better home job then anyone I know could do! I had to laugh when they were in Famous Footwear because I kept thinking about other girls who would go into the store and pick up those shoes normally. We've been making fodder about the shoes but it's crazy that they WEREN'T from Goodwill and were new shoes in a Payless type store! All stores DO have those icky brown sandals that you wouldn't think anyone would like but some girls do. My sister told us we could wear any type of silver heel for her wedding so I thought it was fine that they wore different types.

Watching the re-run & Jessa DEFINITELY said "so friggin cute" during the photo shoot. Unless it was "so stinkin cute" and Jessa just has a horrible accent...

I happened to watch the premiere again OnDemand with my sister who hasn't watch in a few seasons. She loved Luke Wade (1st performer) & on second watch I'm SO glad that he chose Pharrell. Pharrell really knows what to do with artists, I think. I'm excited for his team!!

I live in Philadelphia, where the pilot was filmed. I go to school and work at thr University of Pennsylvania which was used for filming. Annaliese's law firm/Wes's apartment were houses around the corner from me, but I could barely recognize anything because it was so dark!! I also stalked filming after work to see if I'd get into any exterior shots by the law firm, but didn't see me. The production assistants loved my dog & I kept hoping they'd say they needed one!
