Love love loved Emily & Jef. I wanted them to make it but Emily is a total trophy wife & Jef deserved better. I loved Jef's line: I want to date you so hard and marry the f*** out of you. Rewatching Ashley's season, I love how obvious it is that she picks JP. And how confident JP was that they were meant to be! Even at the first rose ceremony, JP said "hell yeah" when Ashley asked him to accept the rose.

I had a credit on my Amazon account so I'm watching Ashley's season for free. I believe each episode is $1.00. Since Surfthechannel isn't a website anymore there are limited options to watch for free. I'm past the Bentley debacle of Ashley's season & it's absolutely one of my favorite seasons. There was JP, Ames, William etc, all hot, good looking accomplished NORMAL guys. I like that they still feature Chris Harrison, talking to Ashley/the guys etc AND the episodes still have time to feature the guys bonding, Ashley/the guys having actual conversations too and beautiful scenery. I don't understand how Chris's episodes are so long but have no substance. Chris Harrison is nowhere to be found either. I don't get it.

Speaking of Ashley's season, I'm re watching it now and completely forgot about all the Bentley drama in the beginning. I also compared it to the current season with Chris and I can't believe how different the show is now. On her season, they still had the fancy pictures of the guys and you saw Ashley looking at them, making decisions, talking to Chris etc. I'm also so surprised at Ashley's genuineness, she actually wanted to get to know the guys and they had real conversations right off the bat. JP's first one on one date, they even sat on the floor in PJ's and talked about past relationships, Bentley etc. it's AMAZING how little we know about the Chris's bachelorette or his connection with any of them. They edit the dates and conversations down to nothing! IMO, JP was one of the most good looking contestants the show has ever had! I wish the show would return to form like Ashley's season, without the horrible dates planned (roasting!) but where you'd actually see what happens with the contestants and how Chris would talk to them!

I don't see anything on Amy's Instagram stating that she is pregnant. Unless it's in the comments under a picture, but j didn't see any.

Ugh, she'd look SO much better in a boatneck top & a skirt. She wouldn't look as massive either. It would still be modest and it would eliminate the need for all those horrible layers.

That's so great to hear Wanderwoman!! I had a brain bleed, a grade 3 IVH during my time in the NICU but there's no lasting effects. I even used to tell my teachers in school that it was the reason I'm so horrible at math! Of course the brain bleed only "affected" the "math" area of my brain.

I actually don't think Jill looks that huge in the recent picture with Anna. I watched a clip from one of Anna's births where she is pacing in the living room. She looked pretty big too. I'm sure when she starts dropping she'll look smaller. I still think she has a big baby there looking at Derick's height!

Joy, James & Johanna are Jill's buddies. So she has Joy-Anna, James Andrew, Johannah Faith in the mix if she uses those names. Jim Bob is James Robert, Michelle is Michelle Annette. Jill already has Michelle as her middle name so I doubt it would come into the mix. It's funny that they didn't give the first born their middle names, Josh & Jana but waited to use them. Andrew Richard Dillard has a nice ring to it! So he'd be Drew Dillard, a nice illiteration & it's like Derick's.

I can imagine Erin saying this in her Tenessee accent. At least they can't say she was misquoted, it definitely sounds like her!

The Discovery Life channel (181 for me) has been replaying reruns of 18 kids & counting almost all day for a few days now. The kids are so young, I guess I don't really remember these episodes! I just watched Josh/Anna's honeymoon & it's amazing how awful Josh looks now vs how much better Anna looks! Jill & Joy go to a (fundy?) friends house to babysit also! Aside from the hair, Jill really came into her own!

I'm sure they just titled the episode this. I highly doubt they think it's really a "secret". I'm sure it's because Jill said she stole something from the house & had a secret. I can imagine that Jill was talking with her sisters & decided to take a test. In a house with as much activity as theirs & howlers everywhere, I could see the sisters/Derick knowing immediately without the rest of the family knowing until they made the announcement. (Which was probably that day or the next).

It's funny- you'd think because Alyssa is so petite that she'd look bigger pregnant, like Jill & vise versa for Jill looking like Alyssa because she is tall. An example is Hayden Paniettiere, she's very petite & ended up with a huge pregnant belly.

There is a picture of Jill and an older daughter Nuri with Carlin Bates. Carlin has the biggest WTF face on, it's hilarious. I'm not one to usually pass judgement on people's looks but the Rodriguez family is UGLY.

Jill does look good with her hair up. I noticed they have their engagement photos on the FB page. It might be the clothing she's wearing but Jill looks like she's long waisted & has wide hips. You'd think her pregnancy weight would disperse more & she wouldn't have much of a belly. Although, she could have taken eating for 2 literally & gaine a lot more than the recommended 25-30 lbs.

As I've commented before, I only wish the tank tops MATCHED the outfit. It would have looked much better, IMO, if Alyssa had a red tank top on. It's not so bad from the front but the black sticking out above the strap near the armpits looks bad. It's a shame that part of the tank top couldn't be flush with the cut of the dress. That's just my opinion though & I hate wearing sleeveless tops if my tank top shows on the sides. I tend to wear v neck tshirts more for this reason.

Yep. Has nothing to do with their religious affiliation or positions. Chicken sandwiches with Chik Fil A sauce. Amazing.

I want Chic Fil A in whatever heaven I end up in, lol. The chicken sandwiches are so good. I rarely eat there unless I'm with my nieces/nephews because there's one near their house. The story is pretty ridiculous though. It's just an Instagram post, sheesh.!

I know during the Bates show Kelly & Gil said they'd become more lax with the younger ones BUT they were all well behaved still. Kelly/Gill did disciplining themselves, they didn't make the older kids responsible for the younger ones. The younger ones did a lot for themselves, helped packing their things etc. It was refreshing compared to the Duggars.

I loved all the story lines except Sadie & her ex. The story lines are already bloated without Sadie taking one. But I'm guessing they need another one since Gunnar won't have much to do without Micah there. I LOVED the scenes with Juliette/Avery. The last scene in the nursery was great!!

I don't understand why the only thing interviewers talk about are the slapping story &/or Ioan. I mean, the show is in Season 3! There are so many other things to talk about. I wish Matthew brought wigs or part of a disguise like Glenn Close brought clothes. It would have been cool to hear him switch between his own & Phillip's accent. But he is lovely in interviews!

I used a snuggle puppy for my puppy, a miniature goldendoodle & had the breeder give it to the mom to play with before I picked him. Then I slept with it so it had my scent on it. Not sure it helped him but he did sleep with it for a long time. He's 1 1/2 now & is pretty much glued to me. Sorry to the mods if this is off topic. I'll go back to talking about the Duggars now. Speaking of puppies, didn't they used to have dogs?

That's great! My mom was excited when "she" could feed me her milk instead of what I got from the NG tube. My mom actually slept with my teddy bear for a few nights before putting it in my isolette so it smelled like her (sort of what they tell you to do with young puppies leaving their moms). I'm not sure it helped me but she liked thinking that her scent was comforting. She figured I might have been used to it in the womb! Hope Maisie keeps improving!

Wanderwoman, this is all great news! My mom had such similar experiences- we were at Pennsylvania Hospital & they also had a team of nurses work with me for my entire stay. My mom used to "scooch" my forehead and rub upwards between my eyes & forehead with her thumb. They also did leg exercises & things with me in my isolette. I'm curious- did your husband ever get Maisie a stuffed direwolf? I'm sure you'll all keep improving!

Is #5 Ashley I. Or maybe Carly? We only have Carly, Samantha, Ashley I, Mackenzie, Megan, Kelsey left after you consider 1. Whitney 2. Becca 3. Kaitlyn 4. Jade 6. Britt I figure Samantha, Megan, Kelsey, Mackenzie won't last much longer.

I'm re watching Season 1. I completely forgot about all the early stuff with Max. I'm 8 episodes in & I can't believe how much worse Max's outbursts etc became in the later years. He was totally fine, better than fine on the baseball team, hanging with Drew etc. Why did the show drop Adam/Drew/Max friendship? Drew could have been like a big brother to Mac & he was already really helping him a lot! On re watch, I hated how Adam left Drew at the baseball field to take Max to Yogurtland. Why not tell Max they'd pick up Drew on the way? Adam knew Max liked Drew, so why not use that as leverage for Max? Like TV time etc. that they used in other episodes? The Asperger's storyline could have been SO much better. It's like they forgot that Dr. Pelican said Max was very high functioning.
