  1. Who can forget Sean yelling "EMILY, EMILY" through the streets. He ended up going to her hotel then they went to a bar or something and hung out. Then we got multiple shots of them making out against a stone wall.
  2. Yeah, leighdear, that was my point exactly. If Chris was so interested in sexual inexperience it would have been exploited. Maybe Mackenzie was saying that because SHE wished she could still say she was a virgin and/or a 21 year old without a child.
  3. This is a blog Chris writes for People about this season. He writes interesting things about Ashley S. Most notable is that some things she says "make a lot of sense". http://www.people.com/article/chris-soules-bachelor-blog-episode-2
  4. I'm 27 and haven't had sex yet. No religious reasons or saving myself, it just hasn't happened. I've had boyfriends and one longer relationship but we never had sex. I have a career, friends, a dog, nice apartment in a city. I would hope that a 33 year old wouldn't pass on a relationship with me just because I haven't had sex. That said, I thought it was very odd that Mackenzie was so enamored by Ashley I. being a virgin. I also doubt that a guy would get that excited to "deflower" her. It shouldn't be a door prize. Maybe a guy would like that his wife had only slept with him but I wouldn't call that being so excited. I'd say that Ashley Hebert (small, cute, dentist) was in it to find love. After the show she & JP went back to normal life, Ashley went back to UPenn & finished dental school. They're normal people with a new baby.
  5. That was Ashley! I loved her season & you could tell she loved JP because she got so upset that her sister didn't like him during the family visit. They did it right after their season, returning to normal out of the limelight aside from sporadic appearances. For once, I wish they would stop the show as soon as they know, like at final 4 or 5 when you knew it was Ashley & JP. That would make drama! Letting the rest go, putting it all on the line that your pick loved you too & it would make one hell of a tell all special.
  6. Derick posted that he & others in the Walmart Tax Department made up boxes to send overseas for Christmas. He obviously still has the job & goes to it everyday if he & Jill only have 1 car. It's not a bad way to save money, to be honest, but now we know what occupies part of Jill's day.
  7. I always wondered if any of the Bachelor/ettes would stop production once they thought they found "the one". I remember reading years ago that Chris Harrison said it was tough to edit Trista's season because it was so obvious that she & Ryan really found love. Someone stated before, Graham was it for DeAnna, Frank was it for Ali (I'll NEVER understand what she saw in Roberto), Catherine was it for Sean, so it makes me wonder if a contestant could stop filiming? Maybe because it's so producer driven that they wouldn't let them. I always hate to see the ones you think will be chosen voluntarily leaving bc you know they have a real connection. It makes me wonder why they all choose to leave.
  8. I for one am actually excited for Jessa to become pregnant because I can't imagine all the snark worthy commentary that will come from it! After the surprisingly heartfelt proposal, I'm really looking forward to the next season to see wedding planning also. It will be interesting for sure!
  9. Interesting article about Jessa's pregnancy rumors. http://starcasm.net/archives/301337
  10. I was checking out the Bates' website and I'm really surprised at how much they write about each of the kids. They really are different from the Duggars because they know each kid has a personality & the kids favorite restaurants/movies etc are a lot more mainstream. They are refreshing compared to the Duggars!
  11. Catelynn & Tyler both posted that Catelynn was in labor today. They also referred to the baby as "Baby V". No idea where you all got that she already had the baby or named her Nova.
  12. I'm really glad to have my research job now that I hear you all talk about how you only get 2-3 weeks a year as vacation. I took 1.5 weeks vacation a Monday to the following Wednesday and I hadn't been working a full year and I still had another week left accrued. We don't lose any time accrued with a new year either. Last Thanksgiving, I had just gotten a puppy and I took from Nov. 21 until Dec. 10th off. I had over 30 days saved up & didn't put much of a dent in them bc the Thanksgiving days didn't count. An old supervisor once took an entire month off for her wedding and honeymoon. I believe she worked the week between Xmas-New Years for a few comp days but the rest was PTO. I think we really don't know what Derick's job situation is, if he's getting special treatment or if he's just worked out the time off with his boss/employer. I wonder if the El Salvador trip was already on his work schedule since it's an annual trip. It'll be interesting to see how much time he takes when Baby Dilly gets here though. He seems like he wants to be a hands on dad.
  13. I have bad posture, I actually think I could benefit from chiropractic adjustments because I walk on my mid foot and toes, I don't step back onto my heel. But I have similar posture to Jill. I think partially because I've developed an anterior pelvic tilt, I always look like my stomach is sticking out, even though it's flat, no matter if I stand up straight or not. My mom always asks me "when are you due? Suck that stomach in, girl!" Jokingly of course. She also developed a pelvic tilt as she got older. Jill's posture definitely looks like a dead ringer for an APT. http://www.somastruct.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/anterior-pelvic-tilt.jpg
  14. I work for the University of Pennsylvania. We have a very good benefit package. I personally couldn't take PTO or sick time for the first 4 months I worked (July to Oct in 2011) but I still accrued it. Ours is generous, we get 1.25 days a month of each PTO/Sick time. So if I were Derick, it wouldn't be unusually to take a week in June for the wedding, a few days here & there & now a week or longer to go to El Salvador. All we had to do is put in for PTO as soon as it was nailed down & it's never been a problem for me. We do need to have our PTO around or close to xmas put in during Sept/Oct, but that's it. YMMV though. It's possible Walmart has a similar accrual, x days a month rather than a set amount of weeks, so he'd have accrued a lot by now, even if he'd taken time for the wedding & days here & there. It doesn't seem like he's taken a huge amount of time to be honest.
  15. I didn't watch the first season of Nashville & am binge watching over my holiday break. I'm shocked at Scartlett's appearance. I've always thought she looked squirrelly with way too much hair. Don't the stylists know what a thinning shear is? But her Season 1 appearance is ick. What was up with her eyebrows? And she either has chubby cheeks or a weird face shape but dare I say it, she looked heavy in the face!! Her non American American accent is so distracting too.,
  16. I actually think he has a very dry sense of humor with a bad delivery coupled with his (at times) odd inflection in his voice. I do think that some of the teasing from Jessa did go over his head though. For instance, when he said to Jessa "I'm looking forward to getting married" "well, on our wedding day we'll...get married" I laughed out loud! But I can also see friends of mine with the dry humor saying toungue-in-cheek "getting married" as a joke since duh, that's what happens. I think he also speaks slowly but in a different way than Derrick so he appears dim.
  17. I'm surprised that they haven't shown Jane having any side effects of the pregnancy yet. No morning sickness, moodiness, cravings or weight gain yet. When will we start to see that the baby is REAL?
  18. Sarah Drew had her baby, a girl they named Hannah. Ironically, her character in Everwood, which was her breakout role was named Hannah as well!
  19. Nadiya should have kept her mouth shut & she would have gotten both Jon & his idol out! They could have worried about Keith/Wes & the idol later. Stupid. Very stupid. Now she needs to sway someone else to vote out Jon since Wes isn't there & hope that Jon doesn't win immunity.
  20. I really hope they don't do to April what they did to Amelia on Private Practice and have her carry the baby to term. Amelia's labor was heartbreaking to watch as the baby was born without a brain and didn't survive but for a few minutes while gasping for air. The Instagram post on Sarah Drew & Jesse Williams Twitter accounts is interesting though...
  21. If you pause the video, you can see that the baby has barely grown between 20 & 23 weeks. And he'd been sitting cross legged for a while. Any doctors/nurses know what condition the baby has?
  22. This TV spot was on last night after 19 Kids during "Risking It All". http://www.inquisitr.com/1619601/first-look-at-baby-dilly-jill-and-derick-dillard-share-ultrasound-photo-for-19-kids-season-finale-video/ Why do they have a ping pong table in one of their rooms?? I'd hoped they'd decorate nicely. Never mind, they are in the Duggar Compound.. They seem excited. Very cute when Derick was describing feeling Baby Dilly move. I'm sure we'll see a lot more next season since they've been sharing so much.
  23. Well, we know he knows how to get down on bended knee since he is proficient in "tebowing" LOL!
  24. It's frustrating that people keep saying Jacqueline also. Her name is Jack-Lynn, spelled Jaclyn. It's a pretty common spelling, like Jaclyn Smith. Jacqueline is way more uncommon. I'm rooting for Reed & Josh. I think they make it far considering how much airtime Josh got in the first half. At least he's trying to play the game. I like Jon and Jaclyn as well.
