  1. I'm very confused by Rob Lowe's career choices.
  2. The little girl who sang with JLo looked a lot like her daughter.
  3. Supposedly there are multiple political ads tonight, mostly Trump and Bloomberg.
  4. I loved that video intro segment. Very well done.
  5. She's also not wearing a bra. Which ruins a beautiful dress.

This is my opinion: You can't regulate against a guy on 2nd reading the signs and taking that information back to the dugout. He has a clear view of the plate. It is also equal opportunity. Both teams can do it as long as they can get a runner to 2nd base. It's been there since the beginning of the game. Anything beyond that is unacceptable because it gives one team an advantage the other doesn't have.

If the allegations relating to Altuve and Bregman wearing a buzzer are true, this brings down the whole house of cards. There is cheating (stealing signs while on 2nd) and then there is this. Totally a different ballgame (heh) and enough that the title should be stripped. The weirdest rumor on Twitter today was the "Mike Trout takes HGH for a thyroid condition" one. I guess we'll hear more about that in days to come.
  8. Since Jill posted it on Facebook, she attempted to link to her dad's facebook page, which of course because they are fundy is a joint Facebook with Jill's mom.
  9. When the Independence bowl was sponsored by Poulan, it was always called the Poulan Weed whacker bowl in my house. That was my favorite.

I'm probably repeating myself here but I wish Venus would switch to being a doubles specialist. I think she could easily be the number 1 doubles player in the world and extend her career a bit. With the right partner (maybe not Serena) she could win a Golden Slam next year. Not surprised about Wozniacki retiring. Very surprised that Sharapova isn't, especially since she doesn't appear to be in line for the Olympic spots.
  11. Two thoughts: Lauren appears to be wearing heels. Surprising to me. Also, that is a terrible bow on Bella. I'm surprised they would go with black, but I guess it matches Lauren's skirt.
  12. I caught the Sunday recap show on NBCSN. Nathan's program still isn't my favorite but there is more personality than I usually see from him in a competition program. With the ladies, the correct skater won, but I think I enjoyed Anna's program more. She had more lyricism and maturity to her skating than I was expecting (this was my first time seeing these young Russians). Bradie's skating is more mature than it was at the Olympics but it still wouldn't be a stretch for her to go full Disney Princess.
  13. I don't see it as trafficking. I see it as Anna has too many children to take care of and she found a "mother's helper". That is usually a tween girl who comes and distracts children while the mom can do chores or cook dinner. I've never heard of a "live-in" at that age. Very odd, but not necessarily criminal.
  14. Molestation would be a state issue, but I think posting images on the internet would be federal. Please God don't let that be happening. This is fascinating but its a weird rumor to come out of the blue.
  15. Not Doodlebug, but I am an adult ICU nurse. There is a pump in the background of the photo which is the same one we uses for inhaled medications for our really sick respiratory patients. My guess is the baby is receiving continuous nebulizer treatments or other medications through a mask or cannula attached to the blue tubing. And I agree with Doodlebug that whatever supplemental oxygen the baby is getting is also humidified.
  16. The nanny is Sierra's mom (her IG post clarifies it). Nanny was my name for my grandmother so I don't know if her kids also use that name instead of Grandma or if Sierra just wanted it to sound like they had a paid caregiver.
  17. Maybe the Broadway revival this spring of "Kiss Me Kate" inspired all the choreographers?
  18. The age appropriate way to incorporate 9/11 for 4year olds is to talk about first responders as heroes. Just praise what they do. When I taught preschool, the firefighters would come to the preschool, let the kids climb around the truck, and allow the kids to inspect their gear. It is important for kids not to be scared of first responders in all their gear, because if the kids need to be rescued, the last thing that should happen is for the kids to hide from "the scary guy". Again, developmentally appropriate education is sorely lacking in the Dillard household.
  19. This is what we discovered the last time she talked about her degree. There can't be any miscommunication as Georgia Military College only offers pre-nursing, not any degree which would prepare a student for the NCLEX and thus the ability to obtain a RN job.
  20. We had this discussion a while back. I thought she had a "pre-nursing" associates degree which is very different from an ADN. I'll try to go back and see what was discussed previously. An ADN is possible in 2 years, but highly unlikely as a 16-17 year old because there are prerequisites that would have required community college level work for a year or two prior to enrollment.

Flashbacks from Alla Kournikova? I had no strong opinion going into the match but I got irritated watching Serena look whiny (for lack of a better word) when her serve failed her. That's when she gets into trouble, when that look/emotion takes over, not always when her game fails her. My wish for Venus is for her to stop playing singles. She could easily be the #1 doubles player in the world and it would extend her career. That would make it more likely for her to get one more gold medal.
  22. I'm not MissAlmond, but yes, that's the avant garde dress. It was the first jaw-dropping piece I remember from PR. There had been many beautiful pieces, but that was the first where I knew that both men were incredibly talented and had something special. I know Chris March was extremely well known as a costume designer and in drag circles, but I wish he had more high profile work in "fashion". A Merle Streep gown is the only one I can think of from a red carpet,
  23. I would hope World Central Kitchen gets added to their list. I know they already have food and kitchen setups on the ground in the Bahamas. I wonder if it is easier for groups like this (the Duggars) to respond to poorer countries because those governments don't always have the resources to police the lookeyloos.
