  1. Three out of the 4 husbands decided to go home for a while and not co-habit with their brides. AKA, those 3 husbands will ask for a divorce. Cameron and those spiders? I don't think I've ever seen an MAFS dwelling near as creepy. I'd be "Sayonara!" permanently!
  2. "....allow him to look like THE MAN who is taking care of his woman," like innumerable other wives since Time Immemorial! πŸ˜‰ Saying "I love you" to multiple women supports my point: Gerry did NOT say "I'm in love with you." 😘 As for what he supposedly told Leslie in private, why believe her? We don't know her. Besides, in that latest interview, she phrased it as, "He kind of said," and similar weasel words on her part. πŸ€”
  3. ABC is dangling "The Golden Bachelorette," I think, in exchange for more (alleged) revelations about what Gerry said, how he said it, or whether he said it. One phrase Leslie does not claim Gerry uttered is "I'm in love with you." And that is probably what he said to Theresa.
  4. They do. That's to prevent any last second changes by the judges, which was a "to do" several years ago, IIRC.
  5. You did. https://www.the-sun.com/entertainment/9043443/gerry-turner-wife-toni-golden-bachelor/
  6. "MAFS: NZ," Season 3, is worth watching. Season 2, definitely NOT. Talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, round and round, same relationship issues each discussion. Plus, the brides refuse to tell the truth: They do not care for the physical appearance of their respective husbands. Old, overly tattooed, bland, whatever.
  7. The assumptions here, stated as fact, about Gerry’s decisions continue to baffle me. E.g., Gerry was strictly about the M-O-N-E-Y, Baby? That what it can't buy, he can't use? Who not named Gerry Turner could possibly know this?! E.g., could his remark about the cost of the honeymoon not just be a goofy wisecrack instead of an accounting statement? E.g., Leslie will now "spend her days in therapy"?! But in any case....Mes amis! We have our Official Wedding Invitation! https://parade.com/tv/the-golden-bachelor-wedding-special-gerry-turner-theresa-nist
  8. AKA, "The Silver Bachelor." 😎 As for Gerry’s choosing between πŸ’° (Theresa) and πŸ”₯ (Leslie): We have no idea what Treesa is really like, IYKWIMAITYD. Moreover, isn't all fair in love and war? Some people are reacting as if they are shocked---SHOCKED!---that a human being would use wiles to win the affections of another!
  9. Perhaps instead of being a "coward" for not choosing Leslie---twice-divorced, overly-emotional, and yes, younger Leslie---Gerry simply went with the woman he related to and loved more. πŸ’˜ Or maybe he just flipped a coin! πŸͺ™ 🀣
  10. Regarding exaggerating a C.V.: He who hasn't used the most self-aggrandizing language, cast the first typo! 🧐 IMO a fast-food franchise in Indiana and Maxim's of Paris both qualify their owners to call themselves "restaurateurs." πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³ As for the purported cost of Leslie's gown---I've seen that on "Say Yes to the Dress"! (Usually one of those Pnina schmattas. πŸ˜„ πŸ‘°β€β™€οΈ) We don't know the respective finances of either Theresa or Gerry, thus we don't know to which party a pre-nup would be advantageous. πŸ€‘ J/S! They will get married on ABC. They will then go to Italy πŸ›© also on ABC's dime, and their trip will be filmed to become yet another G&T (heh🍸) "TV Special." Maybe after that we'll see their version of "House Hunters," as the newlyweds move to Charleston. 🏑 "The Golden Couple in Italy." Share Gerry and Theresa's honeymoon as they take a romantic gondola ride in Venice, visit the remarkable Sistine Chapel, view Capri's famous Blue Grotto, and more! A Vespa might be involved! "The Golden Couple in Charleston." Share in the new beginning for Gerry and Theresa as they house-hunt in beautiful historic Charleston, South Carolina. Whose style choices will prevail?
  11. "[L]ots"?? I think you're forgetting who exactly comprises the Boomer 60s g-g-g-generation, mon frere.
  12. "Offensive"? 🧐 Well, now you're taking on the entire world of romance, indeed, of the human condition, and that goes back a long ways! Epics, fables, novels, poems, songs, psalms, fairy-tales, the Age of Chivalry, plays, movies, have I omitted anything?
  13. HE is going to put THERESA "on a budget"?! Gerry, old buddy, mon ami---Ze lesson, she eez about to be learned, n'est-ce pas? πŸ’° πŸ’° πŸ’° + Treesa = 🚫You, Gerry Γ— πŸ˜† πŸ˜† πŸ˜†
  14. I got two main points from that article: 1. Gerry was a goner from the convertible ride. Treesa's "calming hand" is now a permanent part of their love story. πŸ₯° 2. I don't know if I fully believe that Gerry had spoken before about moving to Charleston, but I can 100% believe that Treesa is determined to not reside in Toni's Dream House! "Toni used to cook my favorite meal in this kitchen." *sob sob* 😭
  15. Maybe if the haircutter were Paul Bunyan! Her neck shows her age like the rings in a tree trunk!
  16. Like Gerry said, "A wise man once told me, 'Don't lose an opportunity....'." πŸ˜‰
  17. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, you naughty little minx! πŸ˜‰ πŸ›
  18. IMO, virtually immediately. Long marriage until death did them part. No emotional mess, but a calming presence. Took the dangerous highway and hair-wrecking wind like a champ. Expressive in her affection. "Victim" of Kathy. Athletic. Close to Gerry’s age. Hadn't dated Prince.
  19. Mes amis, I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing this GB journey with you, because you were all in it for the right reasons. Oh, sure, we had our ups and downs, difficult decisions, and didn't want to break any hearts, but as for our posts, we meant them at the time. It wasn't easy---there were tears---but after communing with the Spirits of TWOPers Past, I've concluded I can't live with you, because.... I can't live without you! PSYCH! January 4, mes amis! πŸ’‹
  20. A 70-year-old woman just did give birth, so there's that! https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-67577038 πŸ€ͺ πŸ‘Ά
  21. There you go: Similar histories**. He knew almost immediately, and all Treesa needed to do henceforth was not be weird. That "calming hand" in the convertible loomed Gargantuan. **"[Treesa] knew how to nurture a relationship" = Some masterful Leslie shade!
  22. Oh, feh! The cynic in me just went bye-bye. Damn you, Gerry (Indiana!)! πŸ˜… πŸ₯° ❣
  23. And he still hasn't shaved off his Old Man scruff! Billy and Toni are like 😝 πŸ™„ right about here.
  24. Why bring out Gerry to talk again to Leslie? Oh, right---ratings. "Shocking ending"? Either Treesa turns Gerry down, or Gerry returns to Leslie. Nothing else would shock me. Well, if Gerry chose neither, then yes, that would be a finger in a light socket moment.
