  1. The promo makes me think dead, but I don’t know. If they were going to kill him why not just have Jo get a call instead of having Alex lie and Jo think he left her, especially since Krista claimed she was thinking of Jo’s mental state. Of course Krista lies and very little of what she does makes sense so maybe Alex is dead and all of this was just nonsense that they thought made good drama. Or maybe Alex did go to Izzie or something. Nothing would surprise me at this point.
  2. I realize the writers were in a difficult position but since they had Alex in Iowa helping his mom, I would say mom needs long-term care so Alex and Jo decide to do long distance which takes its toll and they split by the end of the season. Abrupt, but nobody would have to be ghosted or destroyed. I don't know what the final plan is but it's feeling like they are heading down a path that seems ... personal.
  3. Bummed by the first two boots, especially Amber's. I'm here for Rob/Parvati. It was good to see Ethan healthy and so excited about being back. I normally don't mind Sandra but found her super annoying tonight. Yul. I was definitely most excited to see Yul. Of the newer winners I do like Wendell and Nick but would be happy to see the others go.
  4. Loved the Rebecca and Kate scenes. Toby and Kate both need therapy.
  5. That was a great start to the season. Poor Holt. Cheddar even lost respect for him. I liked the new dynamics with Holt being a uniform cop. Debbie was great! I loved her love for picking up cones and foot fives. The party was fun. Amy the narc. Holt attempts at causing a drunken scene cracked me up. I'm sad that Captain Kim is gone already.
  6. Josh Thomas looked good in drag. The Matilda story has my mind all over the place.
  7. I liked Daniel's collection and disliked Minju's. Just not a fan of volume, volume, volume. I hated the wedding dress. Overall, I did enjoy the series and would watch another season.
  8. I like Angel and Minju, but I didn’t care for their winning looks. I don’t mind the team aspect with the teams that knew each other going in or even with the British guy and his partner who have similar backgrounds, but I feel for the Scottish woman as well as the first woman that was eliminated. I don’t think they (or their partners) would have gone far either way, but the team aspect made it difficult, at least to watch.
  9. The ending was contrived, but I still enjoyed this season, even more than the first. The romance is my least favorite part so what I particularly appreciate about this show is that they explore friendships and family too.
  10. I loved it, partly because it reminded me of "Please Like Me" but also because I loved Matilda and Genevieve.
  11. I don't know but my first impression from that statement is that he probably did leave/was let out of his contract for personal reasons that he clearly does not want to talk about so he's focusing on life after Grey's instead.
  12. I can understand Corey's explanation as that's how it was in my family. I have a genetic disorder that needs to be monitored, and my stay-at-home mom took me to all my appointments growing up. My dad could have taken off work, but he only had 10 vacation days a year and my appointments would have taken at least 3-4 of them. I would have rather had him home for a week in the summer and at Christmas than stare at him in a waiting room. Maybe Ali doesn't feel the same way, and if so, that should be addressed privately. Okay, now I want to hear more of Corey's mom's thoughts about the s**t show.
  13. Whether there is truth to what Leah and Jeremy said or not they should have kept their mouths shut. Miranda is not on the show, none of this played out onscreen, and Miranda and Corey were not there to defend themselves. Hey, Jeremy, you remember all those times you were mad because Leah complained about you at the reunion? Your time will come again. He's had nothing to do with the twins since the divorce, and I doubt he hardly ever sees Miranda and Corey. He was repeating stuff Leah has said and Leah was enjoying going "Jeremy!" and acting like she wouldn't have said it. But she would love to have a better relationship with them ...
  14. Not another pregnancy. The only reason I'm warming up to Amelia's is because Amelia and Link have been a highlight, but Bailey and Ben are not a highlight and Bailey is annoying enough as is. Pac-Gen has been the other highlight for me so of course they sent Owen there. Sigh.
  15. Well …. that was an episode. All I remember about last season was my fast forward button getting a workout because of too much Owen and Teddy, and it appears that won't change this season. Amelia, too, although I did warm up to her a bit last season. Unfortunately, I don't see that lasting through a pregnancy story. Please let the Maggie and Jackson break up last. It just never worked. Meredith and DeLuca also don't work for me but it seems we are stuck with them. Richard was seriously obnoxious, but he and Alex are still my favorite two characters, so I'm glad they will be working together even though I'm not expecting much. A long-term storyline with them trying to turn this other hospital around would be somewhat different, at least, but I expect they'll be back to the same-old, same-old at Grey Sloane sooner rather than later.
  16. Terrible show. I was happy with most of the winners though. I just watched Fleabag a month ago and Season 2 was so good.
  17. I'm glad it was given a final season so it can have a proper ending. I was a bit worried because of Netflix's recent track record (Still bummed about Santa Clarita Diet) but figured GLOW would get closure since it has gotten award recognition. I think four seasons is about right for this kind of show.
  18. Congratulations to Drew. He's too intense to be one of my favorites but has never bothered me much. I'm kind of glad Gil timed out instead of losing by seconds.
  19. For anyone interested, This American Life did an episode on this story and talked to the real life people involved.
  20. Ridiculous. All that money to remodel what appeared to be a perfectly nice pool. One that had a fence around it btw which the new "family-friendly" pool didn't have. I guess a safety fence doesn't have enough character.
  21. Even though I loved Logan, I never thought Jason Dohring was much of an actor. He had a spark playing the psychotic jackass role but that's about it. I thought he was bad in iZombie and drab as got his life together, Logan.
  22. If they wanted a single Veronica, there is such a thing as a break up. If they were set on killing Logan, there were ways to go about it that might not have pissed fans off quite as much. Here's a question: If Duncan, Leo or Piz had been the boyfriend do you think RT would have killed them so the badass P.I. could go on the road?
  23. Aside from “Who killed Lilly Kane?” and “Who raped Veronica?” I don’t really remember any of the other mysteries, especially from Season 3 when so many new characters came in. Veronica’s relationships with Keith, Wallace, Logan, Weevil, Mac, the Kane’s, etc is what made the mysteries of Season 1 and to a lesser extent, Season 2 so exciting and special IMO. So no, I can’t imagine caring about Veronica solving mysteries in unfamiliar places with unfamiliar people.
  24. Oh man, I love Logan, but this is the way they should have gone. I would have been sad, but it would have been so much more interesting than what they did and a much more fitting end for such a major character and relationship.
  25. Yes. Even though Logan was probably my favorite character, I didn't necessarily need or expect a happy ending for him. A tragic ending can be satisfying. But for me, this was so half-assed and frankly, dumb, that it wasn't even satisfying.
