  1. Ethan and Cameron have another jet ski moment except this time one doesn't swerve?
  2. Despite his success, Ethan is still the guy in college whose roommate "stole" the girls he liked. Harper finally spoke the truth: They may love each other but the spark is gone. Tanya actually had good advice for Portia but didn't take it for herself. Quentin really does know Greg! Albie found his wounded bird and Portia a bad boy, but they are both being conned. If only Portia had been attracted to Albie.
  3. I do think Will Smith just lost it in that moment. He was wrong. He's apologized. I don't think the slap should define him, but it will. He'll be apologizing for it for the rest of his life because Hollywood will never let him forget it. Meanwhile, Brad Pitt won an Oscar after the plane incident and has another Oscar bait movie coming out. I get Will Smith slapped Chris Rock on national television, but the reaction to it by Hollywood, where there is still support for all manners of vile men, was a bit much.
  4. Ethan's "You should be happy" was not the way to go nor was agreeing to go wine tasting with Cameron and Daphne right after admitting to taking molly and watching Cameron have sex with hookers on their couch. He doesn't know Harper at all if he thought that was a good idea, that she would just let it go. Lucia totally got someone to play her pimp after Albie cast her as the poor girl forced to be a hooker and mentioned that he would help if she was being threatened, etc. I think she does have a soft spot for him, but he's too easy of a mark for her to resist. I did like the conversation between Albie's dad and grandpa.
  5. I'm actually enjoying this season more than the first. I didn't like or identify with any of the guests in the first, but here, I identify with parts of Harper, Ethan, and Albie. I'm just as awkward and fake as Harper when pretending to be nice lol. Valentina is over everything, and it makes me laugh. Tanya's storyline is the weakest, but I do think it was the natural conclusion of her storyline in the first. I thought Ethan and Cameron's scenes were interesting. When Ethan was alone in the hotel room before letting Cameron, Lucia and Mia in, he looked angry and then plastered on his own fake smile. I think Harper was right about everything she said about Cameron and Daphne and Cameron and Ethan. The sexual stuff was definitely a power play on Cameron's part, and I have no doubt he pulled the same shit in college. Ethan hates the guy and hates himself around him but feels competitive too.
  6. I don't recall Aniston saying she never wanted kids, but I haven't read every interview. I just remember in that interview she did after the divorce from Brad where she said he had "a sensitivity chip missing" she lit into the rumors that she didn't want kids, saying she very much did.
  7. I, for one, was blaming the media and the relentless speculation, not Brad. We don't know what went on in their relationship. Whether she tried to get pregnant, obviously their relationship had problems, and a baby wasn't going to save it.
  8. I'm glad Jennifer is at peace with it. It must have been hard to deal with all of the pregnancy rumors and speculation that Brad left her because she refused to have kids. It went on for years.
  9. It was fun. Henry Cavill doesn't do much for me in other roles, but I really like his Sherlock.
  10. The first episode was pretty rough, but I like Randall Park and love Melissa Fumero, so I'll give it a chance. I couldn't get past this Blockbuster store having six people working the same shift. Want to save the store? Forget the block party and cut the employees.
  11. This is disgusting but unfortunately, not that surprising to me considering Rihanna's support for other problematic men in the past.
  12. Leah owes over 450k in state and Federal taxes. The Messer clan is screwed.
  13. I'm honestly not sure what I think about the judge's decision regarding James. I don't think it's unfair to Amber. She's a POS mom. I do think it's unfair to James and Leah.
  14. She bought the house but was dumb enough to not put her name on the deed? She's lucky he agreed to move out. She could have been out of a fiance, 500k and a house.
  15. That was quick. They just got engaged two months ago. I felt from the beginning that the relationship was just for show, on his part, at least. I'm not sure about Leah's. It kind of felt like it, but I would hope she wouldn't have moved her kids in with the guy for a show relationship. Or did they ever even move in together? His interaction with the girls always felt awkward, like they hadn't spent much time together.

    NFL Thread

Tom and Gisele have both talked about how much Gisele gave up to be the primary parent while Tom played football. Gisele has talked about her concerns for Tom's health. Tom promised to retire when he turned 45. That lasted 40 days. If I were his spouse, that would pretty much signal to me that football was more important to him than me or his family, fair or not.
  17. Some people will prefer the weekly model and some will just wait until the whole season drops. All streaming services are dealing with churn, so I'm guessing Netflix has weighed the pros and cons. It will certainly help Netflix's shows stay in the public consciousness longer. I'm a slow binge watcher, so I'm happy. I never get to participate in discussion and inevitably have the ending spoiled before I get to it. Maybe Netflix could compromise a bit and release two episodes a week (this happens with the kdramas they license) or drop three episodes at once and then one a week after like Amazon Prime. I would guess, if this is indeed true, they will debut it for The Crown's fifth season. That is a show and season bound to generate a lot of buzz and discussion, especially if the episodes are released weekly.
  18. I hope he keeps his job, at least, but I get major famewhore vibes from him. I'm not surprised by the engagement, but I hope they have more chemistry in real life than they did on the show.
  19. She still acted after the kids were born so I assume they had help of some kind. I'm not sure she threw away her career. Most women step back a bit when they first give birth, and it sounded like the roles kind of dried up for her. There are always new, young starlets waiting in the wings.
  20. I don't think I've ever empathized more with anyone on one of these shows than Madisen's dad and stepmom during that birth control conversation. He was trying so hard not to say anything but the stupidity was just too much. What in the world does she have against birth control? Even condoms? I know she's from Arkansas, but she doesn't seem religious. Just really stupid, I guess. She's 18 and has been pregnant twice but thinks the pull out method works. Oy vey.
  21. There's going to be a memoir coming out this year from what Newman and Stewart Stern were working on before Newman scrapped the project. The conversations included in this documentary were so interesting and candid, I'm looking forward to learning more. I would rather have a memoir centered on Joanne though, as she was the more interesting of the two to me. Hawke did say he first saw Paul and Joanne at the school he and one of their daughters attended. That might have been the connection.
  22. As an adaptation of a Jane Austen novel, this was horrible. As just a movie, I actually kind of enjoyed it. I liked Dakota Johnson and actually didn't mind her talking to the camera.
  23. Great fight scene. Homelander is going to be prepared now but if Butcher and Hughie can figure out it is the music that triggers Soldier Boy, they might be able to get him, or at least take away his powers. I hope that is the end of A-train. It felt like it. He apologized to Hughie and got his revenge. Good for Starlight, staying true to herself. I'm glad she quit and used her platform to tell the truth. Between getting his ass kicked and the storm that Soldier Boy's return and Starlight's video is going to cause, Homelander is going to need a lot of mirror time. LOL at Homelander sending the Deep, who spent his time getting busy with an octopus.
  24. Oh, that makes sense! There has to be payoff to SB being able to depower Supes and a way to get SB offscreen if JA isn't returning. AS would be great at playing a powerless Homelander trying to act like he still has powers.
  25. The parallels between Soldier Boy and Homelander were there but Soldier Boy seemed to actually feel something for Crimson Countess unlike Homelander with Maeve. Soldier Boy seems more like a giant asshole with superpowers while Homelander is just a psychopath. So Soldier Boy can take away a Supe's powers for good? Interesting. Given what happened with his previous girlfriend and how emasculated he feels, Hughie's storyline makes sense, but I hate it. The foreshadowing has been all over the place that either Frenchie or Kimiko are going to die. After this episode, my bet is on Frenchie, and I hate it. Is MM's wife okay with her new boyfriend's love for Homelander? You'd think she'd be seeing the red flags. I loved the Legend.
