  1. If the Duggars sisters want to build a social media/reality tv empire like the Kardashians, they better leak a sex tape.
  2. The main problem is that Diana Gabaldon has no imagination and a rape fetish. She seems to think that raping a character is one of the only way to create drama. Those rapes do have major consequences on the continuing stories, but that in itself is the problem. She could've thought of something else to create conflict. And by adapting the books as a tv show, this problem is exacerbated. They have to cut a lot of the fat and keep the major plotlines. A lot of those plotlines revolves around the repercussions of the different rapes. It's impossible to cut Jamie and Brianna's rapes. In Brianna and Roger's case, they already have many internal problems. They didn't need some external forces to keep them apart. They are very capable of doing that themselves.
  3. That's what is so fucked up about all this. The men are poor little helpless creatures that can't help it, so the only thing to do is to punish the women for it. Never occurred to them that they're the ones with the problem and that they're the one who should control themselves. Bullshit! It's always about men controlling women's body and sexuality for their own gain.
  4. Nothing will change bracause the religious leaders are men and they want to keep their power over women.
  5. Am I the only one that feels that Ian not being there screws up a future storyline?
  6. I think that might be Fiona. The hair looks dark and curly. She probably goes with Roger when he decides to go back in time.
  7. The whole thing is just so confusing. The writers and executives are apparently in total shock over the cancellation. If the whole thing was coming from Marvel/Disney, you would think they would had a clue in advance? And at the same time, the writers went to pitch season 4 to Netflix (and season 3 of Luke Cage). If Netflix was not interested, why would they let them do that and give them hope? I think it's looking more and more like Netflix is pulling the plug. But at the same time, I don't think that the higher ups at Marvel/Disney give a shit about those shows. Apparently the relationship between the Marvel movie people and the Marvel TV people is not a good one. Maybe the movie people want the tv show people gone? I'm sure Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones and the Punisher will find their way into new projects, but it won't be with the same cast nor the same interpretation of the characters. Anyway, I just wish someone would come out and say the truth.
  8. I think it just means that the character will live on in the comics. I'm not surprised, but I'm still pissed. Love season 3 and was looking forward to see what would happen next.
  9. It looks like he's angrily holding that leg. What did the turkey do to him?
  10. This guy was killed by his own stupidity and arrogance. Not only could he physically endangered that tribe by exposing them to diseases, but he obviously thinks that these people beliefs and way of life is wrong. He didn't care at all about these people, it was all about him conquering them for Jesus and being the "hero".
  11. Making your bed every morning is a sign that you're organized?
  12. I’d like to believe that she’s trolling everyone with her recipes, but I don’t think she has enough self-awareness for it. However, I could see Derick doing this.
  13. Jill would have a coronary at my library. We had a storytime with a drag queen. In my hand today, I had a kids picture book that tells the story of a three-legged cat. At the end, the author explains the real story of this cat, and his owners are her brother and his husband. Derick the asshole would be disgusted that such filth exists.
  14. The kids sleeping in the parent's bedroom might be Jessa's method of birth control?
  15. I realised that to enjoy this show, you have to forget the source material. You also have to accept that the show is not about life in the 19th century, but about transposing today’s world in the 19th century.
  16. If they want to get ratings, they should really start filming that.
  17. The last scene with Nelson, Murdock and Page just makes me deliriously happy. I'm so glad that they are back together. The show is not the same when they are separated. If we get a S4, I want them to work together and accept Matt's double life. I don't want some major conflict to tear them apart again. Let them face the bad guys together as a team.
  18. Deborah Ann Woll said that Karen was 19 in the flashback and that she’s now 33, the same age as her. So it would be around 2004.
  19. The rumors I've seen is that her ex is gay. There is a big age difference between them and it was pretty much an arranged marriage. She seems to have been pushed towards him even though she didn't have any romantic feelings for him. She wrote about it here : https://www.crosswalk.com/1090966/ I'm not defendending her by the way. To stay on topic, why are all of Jill's recipes come from "friends"? It's always given to them. Is that her way of avoiding copyright issues so she can say that she never meant that it was her recipe?
  20. Fisk already knew. He figured it out when he saw Matt fight in the prison. I think this was a nod to the comics. In the comics, from what I understand, Karen sells that information in exchange for drugs. That info is then passed on to Fisk.
  21. I know a lot of people want Frank and the other Defenders to show up. It would be logical if they did. However, the show is called Daredevil and they can’t have someone else show up and save the day. Also, the story this season is very dense and focused on one main storyline. Bringing the others characters for a couple of scenes could be distracting.
  22. Yeah. Her recipe doesn’t mention tomatoes or tomato sauce. And the stuff in the kids bowls looks nothing like it. Doesn’t she realise it makes no sense? Apparently not.
