Since we have a Worst Movie Parents thread, I wanted to add a Best Movie Parents thread. I nominate Vince Vaughn (yes, that Vince Vaughn) in A Cool, Dry Place. His character is a fast-moving lawyer whose career is taking off, but his wife leaves and leaves him with their little boy. He has to put his career aside to take care of the little boy, then he has to deal with the fallout when the wife comes back and tries to take the little boy away from him. Despite Vince Vaughn's recent reputation for making crappy comedies, this movie is neither crappy nor a comedy, and damn, he's good in it.

Ricky Whittle. British actor who used to be on the Britsoap Hollyoaks. He's also a model.

Are those spoilers hinting that Robin is going to come back pregnant? Will there be a WTD story over whether it's Patrick's or Jason's?

So Ben has something in his past, now, that makes Jordan think he's capable of murder? Although I hate that the writers are shitting all over Nicole's character again, I do have to thank them for not making her fall to the floor and grab Eric's pants leg like Kristen did with Brady. Really not looking forward to Marlena's "told you so" about Nicole. God, John is not only useless, he just makes things worse. I was cheering when Brady decked him.

I liked what Theresa was wearing today out at the patio with Brady. I couldn't tell if it was a dress or a blouse, but the red top with the metal brads on the sleeves. It was pretty.

We probably shouldn't talk politics in this forum, but if we could, I would have a lot to say about him.

On Friday's show, Gabi told Will, "I know you didn't kill Nick, because I did that." That bugged me all weekend, because "I did that" doesn't sound like a common turn of phrase. So today, she said, "I know you didn't kill Nick, because I did." Yay, I can relax now. :)

Camila gave a kickass performance today, too bad it was her swan song.

According to the credits, the Moustache Song was written by Stephen Foster! That blew me away. Loved the jokes about Amanda Seyfried's eyes.

Ugh, I hate Ross the Intern. He just bugs the hell out of me. Sarah the Pageant Girl can foad any minute now. Not an attractive quality. And cowboy probably knows about as much about ropin' and ridin' as I do. He can join Sarah in the cemetery. "I want to show the selection committee that I'm authentic." Because dressing like that is soooo authentic. He couldn't even get Laissez les bontemps roulez right, so I wonder just how authentically New Orleansian he is.

Justin Warner, Melissa d'Arabian, Jeff Mauro and Aaron McCargo were just on the Guy's Grocery Games show just before episode 1 of Food Network Star. They were competing for charities. Aaron won.

Eddie Redmayne as Stephen Hawking in Theory of Everything. That is either going to suck or be awesome. His next movie after that is The Danish Girl where he plays Einar Wegener/Lili Elbe, the intersex Danish painter. (Although there were originally reports that the role was going to be played by Nicole Kidman, so I am confused as to what is going on there.) At least he isn't taking boring roles.

Nobody does. They had him as a half brother of Stefano and the son of Colleen Brady for years and then dropped that idea because they couldn't have that if they were going to have Brady sleeping with Theresa, so now John has no relatives except for Brady.

I really enjoyed this, it had more depth to it than I expected going in, and the cinematography is absolutely gorgeous. Elle Fanning added nothing, but Angelia Jolie and her cheekbones were the stars. I also liked Sam Riley.
