There are much more progressive countries in Europe just as there are much more backward countries when compared to the USA but that's like using Mexico as an example of America, the 2 are patently different & nowhere is perfect but Alyssa & her like would have you believe that Europe bad (except Russia now apparently), USA great, across the board when it's not comparable no matter how she & her like slice it. Every country has good & bad but not the way she & her likeminded people think or would have everyone believe. Someone needs to tell Alyssa that Europe is a continent & not a country no matter how much she wants to think it's not. As do I, but from what I know of the younger generation a lot wouldn't know how to balance a checkbook if their life depended on it, never mind check their bank account outgoings regularly by looking at each line. As a measure of how bad this show has got Fiona & I made the decision last night to remove it from our recording list. Shows have to get bad for us to even consider removing them never mind actually go through with it as we both have to have given up.

It's one of those shows that doesn't seem to get a reaction either way, it's just there & isn't much loved or hated by many if any. Now, Ghosts on the other hand seems to have a love it or hate it vibe if you read the message boards. Those that hate it generally fall into 2 categories, some people just don't find it funny while others think it's not funny because the original British version is 100x better. I've tried watching it but find the British version funnier probably because I'm British & the humor is more me. I can't watch the U.S. version, it's just not funny & tries too hard to be funny for my taste.

There are a hundred reasons why nobody would know anything had happened to them with the neglect of family, friends, colleagues, employees or associates etc. being number 1001. That's good to know because I ask a lot & then get some strange looks from other customers so I'm never sure if I should be asking. as for the paying them a real wage, of course they should get paid correctly, most places are not high end & even if they are paid a living wage. I don't think tipping would stop & nobody has suggested it would or should, it hasn't in states where a living wage is paid. Just that it shouldn't be relied on for people to be able to pay their rent.
