  1. Also, plus, they made a deal with a Jamaican land company to build a spa on the land. I have no idea how that would work with the mushroom growing, but likely neither did the writers. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeevil developers falls smack into Scooby-Doo territory though!
  2. Don't be silly -- there's only room for one woman at a time (and at the lowest level on the totem pole) in this boy's club!
  3. I guess. It's just that the ending made the nurse so eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevil for no good reason and Danny's beliefs were straight out of the "schizophrenic playbook". Either way, it doesn't fit with the other episodes. If they were planning on having each episode be different in style and content, they should have done something different before this.
  4. tganks -- I forgot about that. But if they know either of Keith's birth parents, they could still do the test.
  5. I have two words: Unreliable Narrator. I think that Danny was and is schizophrenic and everything (which we need to see from his point-of-view) must be seen through that lens. I know someone who is schizophrenic and what Danny thought was going on was almost certainly not the truth. I believe that the last scene only happened in his mind. Dad and Matthew are just fine. Why? Because the only two things that we know for sure is that an independent court-ordered psychiatrist deemed that Danny was not competent enough to stand trial, and that Dad remarried very quickly. (The second doesn't count because that happens a lot where neither spouse is evil. Not necessarily... I think you're right, but they obviously didn't push the idea of Unreliable Narrator hard enough.
  6. This show is so stupid, with stupid people doing stupid things.. even the hair twist was stupid -- did Fake Keith have a sample of his own baby hair or is the lab so stupid that they can't tell baby hair from adult hair. (If they wanted a non-hackable test, get DNA from Mom and Dad and compare to DNA from maybe Keith Nope, too dumb to think of that. I have to watch with my brain turned off. Any "officer involved" shooting goes to some kind of review, and the superior can't just say "never mind", especially in a low-level department like Missing Persons. Stupidity again. They ran the DNA of the babies to find the mothers, but see that the babies all had the same father, much less see that it was the baby-factory guy?

    S01.E03: Zoey

There's another show called Found coming this fall to NBC (from What to Know About Found:
  8. Sandy: "Starter, entree, dessert" Me: that's a standard meal, not a tasting menu. A tasting menu is 7 or more small bites. Dumbass. When Sandy started to go after Rachel, I was like :Hell, no. You leave my girl alone. But she is "fueled by caffeine and hate" though. (I love Rachael sooooo much!) At the start of this season, Rachal said that the kitchen and pantry are now on two separate floors. Having someone fetch and carry for her seems like a good idea.
  9. T was going to say that it was part cat, but @shapeshifter's answer is MUCH better!
  10. Why would anyone bet against Hondo at this point? Surely by now, everyone knows #HondoAlwaysWins!
  11. True enough. But you can't go wrong with the motto #HondoIsAlwaysRight
  12. Camille barged into the (tiny) cabin of someone she supposedly loathes and asked for a sharpener. (I don't have the episode anymore, but I wouldn't be surprised if she demanded it.) "I hate you" is mild compared to what I'd say to that ass-clown. Alissa gets along with everyone except the whiny, lazy fool she's forced to deal with. She even made sure that the ass-wipe guests were accommodated. Her "7 star meal" comment to Rachel was a sarcastic echo of what one of the guests said. But Camille is the better person? Oooookaaaaay... Hayley is a good worker and Alissa's subordinate. So, yeah, it definitely would have gone the other way. Alissa is working incredibly long hours, doing not just her job and Camille's but having to fix all the things that Camille gets wrong. She doesn't hate Camille because she's jealous (really??? Aliisa knows that she's fine than that slag-hound.) -- she hates her because she's overworked while Camille goofs off.
  13. I think that you misspelled PLOT dynamics... 🤣
  14. It can be a bit complicated to use but saves having to go into the clinic.
  15. Abby is far too perky, and the show too preachy, for me. The humor of the original was dry wit, with a few "yucks" here and there. And Larroquette is so good com pared to the rest of the cast, that makes them even more amateurish than they would be otherwise. I'm out.
  16. Freddy, in particular, is way underused. I'd like to see more of him and a LOT less of Broody Bode, The could take a hint from Brooklyn 9-9. There was no doubt that Samberg and Braugher were the stars, but even Scully and Hitchcock got plots of their own. Also, anytime some is nearly out of a dangerous job, something bad is going to happen to them. It would have been better to make it look like it was Charlie under the engine, only to find out it was someone else. When we did "fire training" for the company I worked for, the fire was in a small patch surrounded by non-flammable material. Not on a rickety-ass table in an area that the hoses couldn't get to. Speaking of that, why did they have to cut away the whole grate. 4 snips and they had a hole big enough for the hose.
  17. re the baptism: Hondo is right because Hondo is always right. If Nichelle wanted the baptism instead of him, there would bve no baptism. Nichelle needs to clearly state what will be acceptable for their child and what won't. Baptism falls somewhat into the mostly "does no harm" category, but other, harder choices are coming, and they need to figure out the rules before they spring up.
  18. Of the possible fathers and Javier, only Jai (Shawn) has a birthdate that I could find -- he's 43. Alexa is 27, but they're probably having her play at least 5 years younger. I thought the age gap was too small for any of them to be her dad. But this is Fantasy Island, so chalk it up to "Island Magic" -- the deus ex machina they'll use for any scripting problem they encounter.
  19. This review: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/alert-missing-persons-unit-scott-caan-dania-ramirez-1235292807/ sums up the show perfectly for me.
  20. That wasn't how it sounded to me -- it looked like they were saying goodbye to each other.
  21. No comment on the REO Speedwagon dis? I wonder if Freddie has Loverboy, Supertramp, Foreigner and other bands of that era on his mixtape? I'm sorry -- have you met Hetty???? "Apologies are for the weak, and the staff!" says she.
  22. I thought that was weird and not good, too. "Hey, let's end 30+ years of friendship because we're too supportive of each other! Yay!"
  23. So we wasted almost 8 hours for THAT ending. So much for the whole premise. Blergh.
  24. Same person who's doing it now -- Allissa. She's been busy doing all of Camille's work as well as her own; now she doesn't have to spend time monitoring and correcting the lazeabout. But if she gets overwhelmed with having to do her chores and Camille's, as well as needing Frazier to step up, if she cries at all, she gets criticized. Yep, and her vulgarity is almost always funny! 1) Viewers like me have gotten used to Rachel. 2) she's funny! On the contrary, she's respectful of Frazier and Hawley -- neither of them have a problem with her.
  25. Not necessarily. The choice of which partner does the Roadblock (like Molly at the motorcycles) and, more so, which Detour is chosen, cam have a big impact. The "Nut-Smashing" option was pretty linear. but the crushing the "Medieval Games" scooted Derek and Claire to the front of the pack. It's a very fun group this time and I wouldn't mind any of them winning.
