  1. This is an example of [our group] does all the functions of [larger group]. You see this with the CSI and SWAT groups interrogating suspects, and the like. It's equivalent to [our group] is always first on the scene.
  2. Especially with the right diet. I'm watching my potassium and phosphorous and loading upon antioxidants ( tonight's dinner was salmon for Omdega-3 with lemon and garlic). Good thing I like berries, too.
  3. They are fun again. I skipped all the Constantine in Hell, whiny little bastard crap. Now he's an equal to everyone else on the team, and he has his soul back (thanks, Spike!), he's much more tolerable. I don't even mind that Gary was an alien (because of course he was -- this show has never needed stuff like the Crisis to make stuff up). That just adds to the crazy that was LoT's trademark until Mr Angst joined the crew.
  4. I think he said his step-dad had stage 3 kidney disease. I have Stage 4, which is "watch your diet and come in for check-ups". My father-in-law has Stage 5 -- he needs dialysis, but it's done in-home in 2 4 hour batches (one while he sleeps)/ No one with Stage 3 needs $10,000 much less $100,000. I hated Courtney -- the epitome of misogynoir -- before the sob story. Making a fairly easily treated disease sound like a death sentence just made me hate him more.
  5. SWAT is far too military for her. I liked her as George in the last season(s) of Z Nation.
  6. Ujust to quibble a bit. At night in high fog, we get 3 or 4 car pileups on the Grapevine. On the 10, in clear weather -- not gonna happen. And of course EVERY car has to burst into flame on contact. Also, exit 43, near where I live, is 2 miles from exit 41, near Cal Poly Pomona. There are concrete walls and no drops at that section. Otherwise, a great episode.
  7. Yes, she, China, and their sister Lauryn sang for a while, then stopped so Sierra and China could focus on their acting. But they have formed a new group called "Thriii" and may be releasing new material. Here's one of their songs https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DuxVeeqqAyf0&ved=2ahUKEwj457vS-YzwAhXvJzQIHSqwBIMQxa8BegQIBBAE&usg=AOvVaw04-i22ZjMbcYksI_C12AqE ----------- I think it would have Judd confront the man who nearly killed him and Grace, but not attack him -- instead offering him a HARD path to forgiveness. I think that would have shown his growth and also tied into the theme a bit better.
  8. There were three reasons as I recall: He's a widower which means he had at least some kind of previous relationship. He has a steady job and is financially secure. I don't recall the third reason.
  9. Elementary was really good about that. Holmes and Watson respected and cared for each other, but never romantically linked. Chris had one good storyline with the poly couple, but they nixed that right quick.
  10. They can't. Devante isn't even mentioned in S7.E12: High Water Mark. Yep. He pops up in the family picture in S07.E13: The Mother and Child De-Union, but that's it.
