  1. I thought the second house David showed them was better than the third.
  2. That was interesting. I didn't realize Alex didn't have a James Beard. And she has an inferiority complex about it. Alex is always so complimentary about what the guest chefs prepare and did I hear these chefs insult her first dish? Wish Alex had taken the whole thing but if someone else had to win, glad it was Jonathan. He was the least stuck up.
  3. No, Catherine, Greg's haircut does not look good on him. I realize he's too old for his spiky do. But this gives his head a weird shape. Main case was OK. Felt like we got more of the classic gross graphics. And there were even 2 cases. Not that we cared to see Trey again. Glad Beau was in the field without protest. Don't know why Chris is in the opening credits but Penny isn't. She gets more lines. And is a more enjoyable character.
  4. I was intrigued by everyone having their own brown paper bag of PBJ and chips. Did production finally realize a pile of sandwiches out in the open isn't appetizing? Or does someone have an allergy and needed their food separate? I would say no jelly on mine, thanks Jeff.
  5. Munich, Germany. I have to wonder at Estelle's eyesight. Bailey might have the best personality (we haven't experienced it yet) but to fall in love with him just on sight? Kevin, yes! But not Bailey. To be young and able to sit on the floor like that.
  6. Boston, MA. #1 seemed to be a good option for being that close to the city. 1.5 bathrooms would be my stumbling block. Geez, did you see the faucet dripping in the red sink at #2? That house was way to funky. And the third house was fine. Don't hate the couple but not a fan either.
  7. Looks like that was the end of the season. SYTTD is not in the listings for Saturday.
  8. Chef Gabe is hot 🔥! Wonder when that episode of HHI will be on. Also wonder if this was first meant for Giada, but they had to pivot when she left FN. Alex freely admits she's not an expert on Italian cooking.
  9. I admired Brian's bold shirt color choices and the fact he clapped when Rachel got her DD. He looked genuinely happy for her when she won. Rachel was wearing a pretty blouse. I don't keep track of what I know. To explain why, for FJ, I was in Africa. Yeah, I confused Caribbean with Mediterranean. Just too darn tired to pay attention.
  10. Gloucestershire, UK. English charm but open concept, not going to happen. Apparently, Kaila can't entertain herself. She needs people. Poutine would love the undivided attention. I don't like her making fun of Brett's dream. Why should his desire take a backseat to hers? #2 looks like a converted garage on the outside. Because it is, thanks show. Budget buster #3 was nice with plenty of in and out door space. Didn't look particularly English. I missed it, what was her new job?
  11. I wonder why Beau isn't in TOC. He was the only one from that whole cast who wasn't. And the only chef who wasn't giving his winnings to charity. Need a loan, go to Bank of Guy.
  12. Eugene, OR. Are we buying Brian's protestations that he doesn't want projects? That was a nice workshop at #1. Looked like there was an upstairs to it that they didn't show. I like that Marci respects Brian's skill set and how she said the oversized garage wouldn't work for "us", instead of "you". The second house was really nice but do they need all that room? I didn't think there was anything wrong with the kitchen at #3. Cheaper price will allow them to pay storage fees on the van.
  13. Chicago, IL. So are all 5 kids not going to be spending the same 3 months there? Are they sure they want to get married? Does Brian ever take his gloves off? The homes aren't wowing me. I would have been surprised if they hadn't bought that house.
  14. Last night was a fry episode and there were actually 2 fryers in the kitchen.
  15. Chiang Rai, Thailand. Love Banjo! The first house was picturesque. He really wants it all for his $300. The cheap place could work. He's the one who wanted to live in Thailand, why complain living quarters aren't western? The hostel with its homey, institutional feel. English teachers can't be chosers. Could he at least take the hostel sign down?
  16. Atlanta, GA. Found it funny when he was talking about how he hated red brick, she was wearing a red shirt. If I had a chance to have second floor laundry and my husband said no, divorce might be ahead. His hair was awful while I liked hers. The blue house was my favorite. She doesn't have kids yet and already wants separation from them.
  17. Did I mishear? Box makes more sense. I must have been thinking about Nick in Spain.
  18. I want a blouse just like Maneet's cooking smock. That's gorgeous.
  19. I felt bad for the personal trainer, she didn't look happy in any of the dresses. Why don't people come in with pictures of what they like? Doesn't anyone look through bridal magazines anymore? Mom kind of ruined it all with her chicken wire comment. My mother died 3 months ago. I'm old enough that there aren't any milestones she'll miss out on. But when that daughter said "Mommy" I lost it. The old dress looked great on her. Anyone remember that show where a bride had to choose between a family gown reworked by some seamstress or a new dress? That was a good show. Wonder why alterations aren't done downstairs anymore. Did Vera retire? When the dance mom wondered if anyone missed them, I said No.
  20. I thought Kevin said he didn't want any neighbors too close? Did they say how much they inherited? I missed the first few minutes.
  21. TX to London. Missing Richard but Toby seems charming. 5 children, shudder. Giving Jake a lot of credit for driving. Love that he named the van Silver Fox! That garden at #2 was fabulous. Ashley can just sleep out there since the outside of that house was very charming. Having enough space for everyone should be that mom's priority. She really thinks it would be ok to stick 5 kids into 2 bedrooms? No. Good.
  22. Glad to have Greg there. He's so much better than Catherine and her angst. But let's be honest, there was no reason for him to be there. All of his lines could've been said by one of the other CSIs. He didn't bring a special skill set. Unless that anthropologist was on the original show. She did seem vaguely familiar. Liked his scene with Penny. Wonder if the mother was so angry because if she had handed over the cash box, her daughter might be alive. Did the stupid criminal even take the cash box? No hospital would clean up the bullet and then give it to the patient. Chain of custody? Don't think they can use it in court. With all that said, I was crying at the end.
  23. Callawassie Island, SC. Omg the nasally voice! And she talks so quickly, is she sure she grew up in the south? Houses 1 and 2 were gorgeous. With low inventory, you can't be that picky. Wonder how the bugs are by her marsh view? Of course it's the one that already had renovations started.
  24. Maine to Amsterdam. Melissa seems very pleasant. But how is she going to be a match maker when she doesn't know anyone in Amsterdam? That cute little car that can drive in the bicycle lane. So easy to park but you're dead if you're in an accident. Interesting home choices. She did not get/want any of the Amsterdam charm that we usually see. I would have picked that one too.
