  1. Recognized Sarah right away. She was in the finale of Holiday Baking Championship a few years ago. Glad to see she's still baking. Too bad their train didn't quite work out.
  2. Cody knows his teammates better than I do. I would've bet on Gabler to not panic. 😜
  3. Claire is such a backseat driver. And hates heights but will tell Derrick how to scale the glacier.
  4. San Antonio. I'm sorry but the outside of the house she picked did not scream welcome. Just the opposite, it said stay out. Someone should explain to her the difference between character and outdated.
  5. Granada, Spain. I guess the wedding photography business is not a high paying one. $450 is not going to go far. At least they don't need another bedroom for guests. Let's see what $400 can get them. It's bigger than I expected, thought it might be a studio.
  6. So frustrating that it's not Bobby getting these wins, it's his partner. No way did I think he and Damaris would beat Zac and Alex.
  7. Did Beth have the same amount of time as the others? My goodness, that was a lot of stuff. Especially when compared to the hot air balloon display. Small town Kentucky was cute and gave the best example of a parade.
  8. Sorry about that. I don't usually watch this live. There was something off about the Idina ep. She wouldn't let her son be shown. And a father was barely mentioned. I don't think Idina wants to date him since she was in kahoots with his wife (who didn't want to be on camera). If that was a business space, there was no desk or a place for him to work. Seemed more like a rec space.
  9. Love Terry Crews. He can take his shirt off any time. Drew on the other hand...he is obviously not working out as much as he used to. Hope the koi weren't effected by all the work.
  10. Bill breaking out the violin to join in the music making. So glad he overcame his difficulties with the baked Alaska. My mother's go to dessert was a baked Alaska but hers was more of a pie. The crust was Nila wafers and coconut. Then filled with vanilla ice cream and the meringue on top with a quick trip under the broiler. Did Christine set the table on fire? That was quite a disaster, she was the right person to go home. Birch, please!
  11. I think Kellie was auditioning for her own show. She's obviously talented and made the best cookies but I think having celebrity clients has gone to her head. She was overacting to get screen time. Didn't like how Eddie helped her with pairing her herb flavor. I felt bad for Jay Anthony but what was he doing with his time? At least the judges liked the taste of his cookie. Small comfort, I'm sure.
  12. As soon as all 3 judges started dancing over the taste of the cake, I knew the pink nutcracker won. Did like the concept of the space cake but they couldn't quite execute it.
  13. Maybe the people who want to walk to pubs and shops aren't so crazy. Reader's Digest cited a Canadian study that found people who live in neighborhoods within walking distance to retail shops and other services had a 50% less chance of developing type 2 diabetes. And a 54% chance of not getting high blood pressure.
  14. Cairns. Australia. I'm not a fan of creepy crawlies but she's overdoing it. What did this couple have in common? House #2 had gorgeous floors. I even liked the modern kitchen, it wasn't white. No way will Kim agree to live that far from town. Had to laugh at the realtor saying screens would keep out all the insects.
  15. San Diego. That first house was really cute. And I liked that she liked all the character. As a single woman, I'm not sure why she needs so much space. The condo seemed like a good deal. Would she have wanted to replace both bathrooms if dad hadn't said anything? House with garage was OK. Is she running a guest house? Always worrying about guest baths. Can't believe she had to pay that much more. And spending to add that loft?! She must be a good financial planner.
  16. Has the show been to NYC before? So fun to see what 2 mil gets you in the city. Those were 3 great places, dont think there's a bad choice. But goodness, that terrace at #3. I bet it's gorgeous at night. Interesting choice.
  17. Aw Max loves House Hunters. I didn't mind her son being in the episode since it wasn't about him. Just him helping his mom get past this little storyline. I love Robert Picardo but damn, this character was cold. I still don't understand how the whole Bigfoot costume worked. And I miss the police work of tracking down who might have rented such a thing. The little protest with the asbestos powder, if the wind was blowing the wrong way, wouldn't everyone there get sick? A few glaring plot holes but still a gripping episode.
  18. And the judges didn't even like the dish Bobby prepared! It was the sides that won and the Greek guy did those. Felt bad for Christian. That was a lot of losing.
  19. Guess Knight's sister isn't getting her security deposit back. Torres didn't need to go through the slider door. It was a pretty good episode, I felt the tension. Can't believe McGee goes to Vance's for Thanksgiving. Wish Jess had introduced Jimmy to Robin at the end. The callbacks to Jimmy's inlaws and the React team was appreciated.
  20. Carla and Kalen riffing on Gummi glue was priceless. Stephanie's hair is not a good color on her. Just based on the ideas, I like the dueling castles the best. Seems to embody the theme the best. The one where Santa and Frost are on different sides of the building shouldn't win.
  21. Bill is now my favorite contestant. Just the aw shucks attitude. Not sure he realizes how good he is. Hope he picked up some of Aaron's confidence. Dru and Harshal had great looking pies. Was the pie round the first time Kristin didn't have to remake anything? At least this time the meat didn't cause anyone to go home.
  22. I thought the owl and beavers were the best. Skunk was fine and his sweater was hysterical. Wolf turned out better than I expected. Right team went home and I expect that other team to go next. Hate them having to use vegetables in their cake. And the twist should be edible that the judges have to eat and judge like on Big Bake.
  23. London. That is quite a shirt Richard is wearing. I'm curious what the basement in San Fran was costing them. The English basement seemed to have a strange configuration. #2 was short on space but I liked the style. And 3 was too far away. I wonder how much it costs to get married at Westminster Cathedral?
  24. Orlando, FL. I love Stephen's voice! And I agree there's no need for granite countertops. Anyone else thinking about alligators at #1? I've never been part of a family of 5, was #2 big enough? Did it have a half bath? #3 did seem more dated but the kitchen cabinets were ok.
