  1. Kody never mentions that they have grandkids or anything about his other kids lives and what he wants for them. He doesn’t miss the other 13- he didn’t even mention Truely as being in any family gatherings on Coyote Pass
  2. The money in the family account belonged to all of them…so yes, Kody, it was everybody’s business. This man should not have access to anyone’s money but his…as in money he earns. He gives joint accounts for a married couple a bad name.
  3. I believe so. Although Kody supposedly always wanted to live in Vegas too.
  4. Noor has got to be the worst spy ever. She keeps willingly returning to the place where she is in danger. Peter has no respect for the chain of command. He’s basically a probie agent for Night Action and he keeps going off on his own and against orders. Rose actually seems a better agent than Peter and she isn’t even an agent. She’s really good at improvising.
  5. I think it was alluded to finally in this last episode. Claire thanks Grey for saving her life. Jamie gets an odd expression on his face. However he does not ask Claire to explain.
  6. This is a personal issue - there is too much foreign language/ subtitles for me. My spouse doesn’t see well and he can’t read the subtitles. So I’m having to stop the show, read him the subtitle, start, stop, repeat. It takes the enjoyment out for me. I am not criticizing the show- it’s a credit to it that they are trying to be realistic. Foreign embassy staff would IRL speak their language amongst themselves. It just makes it harder for me personally to enjoy those scenes. .
  7. Christine’s attitude toward Kody and Robyn is very similar to a lot of women deeply emotionally hurt in their marriage and now divorced. Many can’t move on even years later and refuse to have their ex-spouse at their children’s weddings or other events, to the point of refusing to come themselves. Christine isn’t doing that. As for the kids and alienation of affection… there’s 18 of them to begin with. All but 5 talk to each other and several have been adults for several years. Old enough to know the truth and definitely vocal enough to discuss it amongst themselves without parental control. On a group text about a Christmas gift exchange for example. Hunter, Garrison, Maddie are all Janelle’s kids rather than Christine and I think they know how they were raised and they’ve made their feelings about their dad well known. What they have said doesn’t only involve Christine - it concerns their own interactions ( or lack thereof) with Kody and Robyn. Once they all arrived in Vegas, they became friends with people who didn’t live like them, whose parents were either home at night or working. I’m sure all the kids compared that to their own lives.
  8. There’s a price for Thursday and Friday night and another for just Friday night, Her retreat starts Friday evening, but I guess some ‘ladies’ want to come a day early. Probably to go see those stores in ‘nearly walking distance’.
  9. It’s none of our business. Janelle doesn’t need a bunch of strangers looking over her shoulder wanting to know if she got life insurance or how she divided the money. I’ve been in her shoes. I can guarantee you she’d much rather have Garrison than his money.
  10. Finally Bode tells Gabriella to pick a lane. Yet Manny thinks Bode is the problem not his daughter. It would be really nice if DC Leone recognized her cadet son as an adult and treated him as such. If she thinks incident command is ok to hand off to cadet Audrey, then shut up about firefighter Biden running into fires. It’s what he’s supposed to do.
  11. I am sure he had a will beginning shortly after he joined the National Guard. My thoughts are that he would have put Janelle as both the executor and the beneficiary.
  12. Out of curiosity - what would be the point of him coming to the future just before Claire goes to the past - is gone for 3 years - and spends the next 20 with Frank? While Jamie wanders around mid 20th century Scotland? Looking like he did as a young man?
  13. Well I’m glad to see that Faith’s story as written in the books is still Faith’s story. I’m also glad that the author was not on board with what the show did - even though she was made to sound as if she was. There are so many things for the show to wrap up in one season that they needed to discard this storyline - but of course they were done filming season 8 before they learned how upset they made their fans in season 7. I’m sure they don’t care.
  14. It’s not been considered safe to drink for years. Food borne illnesses such as salmonella can happen. Jill and her ilk all seem determined to avoid all the safety standards that were developed decades ago just to prove something - what I don’t know.
  15. I saw a rumor that Kody settled with Meri and Janelle regarding Coyote Pass last month. Anyone know if that is true or if people are confusing that property and the sale of Kody and Robyns’s house/adjacent lot?
  16. She verbally ( on film) returned it to the family in return for keeping the proceeds of her house. Which she didn’t even have to do because Kody had already removed himself from the deed of the house. She did it to shut Kody up and to get out of his orbit. However I think the quit claim on the lot probably legally left just Kody on it and then he probably added Robyn
  17. It occurred to me just now that Raymond has other things to ask Claire for forgiveness for. Saving the Comte. Some of his other possible descendants - Ezekiel Richardson? The one who is playing loose with Williams life and threatening Bree… and responsible for what is going to happen to Lord Grey
  18. I understood what Jenn said the way you meant it.( and I’m not trying to be difficult either) I’m just wondering if Christine and Janelle paid for their kids out of their own money too like Meri or if Kody used the family fund for the other kids and not at all for Leon? I’ve watched the show from the beginning so I remember the arguments about Leon’s college choice. Including the argument that the other kids couldn’t afford to go where Leon went. Logan worked on campus. Hunter, Garrison and Paedon went into the military. Aspen and MyKelti shared an apartment. Meri could have told Leon to go to a state school like the other kids and then she wouldn’t have spent nearly as much of her own money. Meri deserves 1/3 of the money from the sale of Coyote Pass - regardless of how many kids she had. But you have to admit that Meri ( getting the same monthly money) had more money that didn’t need to go to expenses at her house in Vegas compared to the others. And I do mean 1/3 of the money not 1/4. There were Four wives- four lots. Four houses in Vegas and Flagstaff. Christine gave her lot back to the Family not to Kody. Robyn and Kody should not get a combined 50%.
  19. From Kody or from their Mom? Again Christine could not afford to pay six kids each what Meri spent for one. Actually she probably couldn’t afford to pay 1/6 of what Meri spent on Leon on any one of her 6 kids. Jenn is not a reliable source for what was spent on each of the kids. She only knows what Meri told her
  20. We knew that Meri paid for a lot of Leon’s college and car- because all the other kids went to state schools. Leon wanted a private school- so Meri had to use her own money to fund the difference. Please remember- Meri wanted the same budget as Janelle and Christine. So she had more disposable income than they did. I know why she got similar housing to them because that was what the builder says he would build- I’m not criticizing Meri for that. I’m also not disparaging her for only having one child.I’m just noting that she could afford more luxuries for Leon than Christine could for her six.
  21. Just like normal, screen adaptations of books always screw something up. Faith is an example. In addition. Even if Faith lived, she wouldn’t remember a song sung to her once as a premature infant long enough to teach it to her daughter. Or are we to assume Faith lived in the far future and just drug her daughters back to the past?
  22. Just exactly when did Kody ever fund anything for Janelle? Janelle who drove a car with a broken window while Kody drove a sports car. Janelle who lived an apartment while Kody lived in a mansion.
  23. She’s dreaming if she thinks she gets to choose her drama. You can reduce your drama, but drama still happens.
  24. And he’s still rattling on about it
  25. They aren’t asking you to do a favor. They are co-owners asking you to get with the program Um Jenn Leon got a lot more than many of the other kids. Leon got a private college, the others got state school. He got a fancy car, they got old ones and no car insurance.
