She’s never denied that they don’t get along … but that’s not the same as being unfair to her. What has Janelle done to cheat Meri out of something? Janelle spent time around people who had gotten divorced. She knew what to tell Christine. However- I do not think that she was considering leaving Kody herself at the time of that conversation. She was still all-in with her money to the family. I think thoughts of leaving Kody began when she watched the TH where Gabe cried. Which she saw at some point later than it was filmed. She probably got feedback on that from the rest of the OG13. She then saw Christine leave and got the result of Kody’s reaction to her supporting Christine. Then she left - too late to protect herself financially.

I agree that Paedon was just giving his Mom the reaction she was looking for. He even said so to the camera. You don’t spring a proposal video on everyone unless you want that reaction. I am sure the Kody helping Meri move was production’s handiwork. It was nice to see Meri laughing though. Kody was attention seeking as normal. Sacred to Robyn … yet he was just asking Janelle to reconcile. My guess is he thought Robyn would scream at him for being in physical contact with Meri when she saw the scene in the episode. Not even going to comment on Robyn’s scenes I do not understand Kody’s emotional outburst in Utah at the B&B. He hasn’t wanted anything to do with Meri in a decade. Interesting to see the NC land purchase was in process Spring 2023.
