Christine needs to get over the idea that having Kody around is an unnecessary complication. They share offspring… get used to it

So Kody refers to his kids with Robyn as HIS kids… but he always refers to Janelle’s, Meri’s and Christine’s kids as theirs, never as HIS. Does he not understand that the 13 OG are cognizant of the difference. So Janelle has never had control of the money, just the bookkeeper and the taxes. And Meri is stupid about the ground and Kody

Rossi looks very old and feeble … because he is. The last few seasons have had him in peril and questioning his ability to do the job. This is not to be critical of the actor. Rossi is just unbelievable this season. Prentiss is written closer to Wacky Jackie of the Connors than to the big bad undercover agent what she’s known to be. AJ is barely in the episode. And terribly bad when she is. We are on season 17. These characters are firmly established and loved. Why have the writers and actors combined to trash this show?

I have not read anything on the internet, so this is just a guess: whichever new actor/actress that is coming in isn’t available yet, so it’s a revolving new partner until they are available. As to this new partner’s reason for leaving: unless she’s transferred to a newly created position- she’s going to be following someone who left. So suck it up.

I think the actress was fine. It was the character I didn’t like.

Hopefully they will reconcile soon. Their situation isn’t unique to them. It’s been happening all over the country for several years now. Social media doesn’t help.

It doesn’t deserve one. However Tyler Sheridan is involved, so it will probably get renewed.

Colter and Reenie have been dancing around each other. She seemed more interested than him last season. This season he slept with someone we’d never seen before. He seems interested in Billie. Reenie seems to have backed off. Colter gave his brother Russell permission to ask her out. Reenie had a plus 1 and is unavailable. So now Colter’s interested. Classic teenage attitude.

It’s happening all the time in our area due to small supply. We live in an area that is usually reasonably priced in the Midwest.

The episode description makes it sound as if Janelle was considering reconciling with Kody until he prioritized Robin. However the actual bistro scenes make it very plain she had absolutely no interest in reconciling with him period. “We don’t even exist in the same universe”. She used Robyn to try to give a reason to Kody why they would never work. I’m still palming my face at his various attitudes toward Janelle. ‘ I was never in love with her, PLEASE take me back, she plays the victim card, she is trying to screw me over, so I will screw her over, I have to be with Janelle to see the kids’. Did I miss any of his word salad?

Well Kody’s on a redemption tour. He’s trying to act all conciliatory.

Kody was born in 1969. He said he was 55 in the TH. That means it was filmed in Jan 2024. WTH. He said he was going to talk to Janelle the next day. We know the land was paid off in 2023. So the editing is all over the place

15 minutes on Christine and David moving too fast. It’s boring

It sort of looks like she put paper up there for them to color on. However I noticed that the scribbles extend beyond the top of the paper. I hope they are using washable markers.

Reddit commenter suggested she might have picked up an absentee ballot on the 17th and returned it with the family. The internet shows that you can do that. I wonder what papers that she and David are holding in the photo.

If someone needs to be reminded by Jill to vote, then maybe they shouldn’t vote. If you’ve read a newspaper, watched TV, drive anywhere ( the signs), opened the internet on your phone or laptop, then you know there is an election I really don’t know why anyone needs to post an I voted photo. If it’s Samuel’s Gideon’s first voting opportunity, then snap a photo for your own scrapbook. The rest of us don’t care that you voted… and I sure hope one of your kids defied you and voted the opposite from you. That would show they think for themselves.

Meri’s space in the Lehi house was often the gathering place. She assumed it would be the same way in Vegas -hence the wet bar. However I think they ended up outside a lot and then Robyn’s house became the gathering place until they stopped letting people inside. What bothered me more was Meri’s insistence that her one child be granted the same budget as all six of Janelle’s or Christine’s. For example, Leon went to a private college in Utah. Logan, Aspen, MyKelti, Gabe, Gwen went to a state school in Nevada. Maddie went to a state school in Utah. Hunter, Paedon, Garrison went to the military etc

I think he was nervous about being filmed. He did it for Christine - so that she could get paid.

Janelle now has ‘an estate’. She bought land in NC with Caleb and Maddie. I’m sure a house ( or double-wide trailers) will be coming eventually. The show is so far behind that I think Janelle has gotten something from Kody even if it wasn’t all she was owed.
