Big news - Mr. Zoey and I will be moving from Williamsburg VA to Ellsworth KS later this summer. We closed on a house in Ellsworth yesterday! We still need to sell our house in Virginia, but we are so looking forward to this!

I think it’s a terrific movie. I got to see it in a real movie theater pre-pandemic; I’d watched it several times on tv, and will watch again.

Mark’s gotten so tall! I really noticed last night!

Rodent ulcer! I looked it up. Interesting. I had a basal carcinoma removed from my scalp just a couple of weeks ago. All is well, no further treatment needed. Hers had been there for a very long time. How did Sister Monica Joan find her son? Much harder before internet.

Shirley MacLaine played Aurora in Terms of Endearment, but not in the 50s! Anyway, I didn't come up with the correct movie, either. And I knew about the Richard iii being buried in the parking lot, etc., but just couldn't come up with his name in time! Couldn't think of an African nation with "dent" in the name. The others were just a mystery to me.

Nobody fails; trying is the thing! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Our cable went out just before Jeopardy! so I only checked the archive for FJ. I didn’t get it. 😕

I thought of Ted Talks, but FJ did not come to me. I knew several ts’s, including Culloden (thanks, Outlander), Meals Ready to Eat, and rubber chicken.

I just watched a compilation of clips on a Facebook Jeopardy! post mainly from Mattea’s interviews, and she sure does talk with her hands a lot! I’m usually multitasking while watching (preparing and/or eating dinner) so I hadn’t seen that much of her talking with her hands before.

Whereas I want Amy to annihilate the other two. Didn't like either, really liked Amy.

The clue was, "On the Kansas turnpike, it's about 8 bucks cash to drive from Topeka to this bigger city 140 miles southwest" which would indicate that it's within Kansas, since the Kansas Turnpike ends at the Oklahoma state line.

I was thinking there better not be any leftover clues because of that long intro! To no avail, I was yelling “Wichita! Wichita! You dolts!” And I’m finding Mattea’s commentary and mannerisms increasingly annoying.

All the usual paraphernalia surrounding getting your periods was well represented, but at that time I think most might have thought tampons could be omitted, because they are inserted rather than worn. I got my period at age 10 in 1961 or ‘62, and that was considered young. Even when you know what to expect, getting your first period can be upsetting and embarrassing.

The Kate/Toby episode was difficult. I’ve been through a divorce once, and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I identified with both of them. So many feelings!

No, nothing was said at all about the woman with Henri. I also don’t like the visible zippers when they’re overdone. Same with the “cold shoulder” look that is still popular. Not that I’ve seen that in Bull, just a fashion commentary. I thought that instead of Bull telling Rafael to go to a meeting, they should have gone together. Bull is also on a sobriety journey. Be good for him to go as well. I’ve never really liked Izzy very much either. Nothing concrete, just not my cuppa.

I never did get one. Dad farmed, and some years were pretty lean, so we couldn’t afford it.

Bringing over from episode thread Saturday in the Park. I was adopted at 18 months old with my brother who had just turned 3. We both have childhood memories from those ages. I think some of my memories are from family talking about them, but there are others that I know are my own vivid memories.
