We care about doing our part to protect the children who are too young to be vaccinated, to protect the first responders and essential workers who have been carrying the heaviest burden of all. Clearly Joe is no father of the year, but I would argue that not having served time in federal prison, involved the mother of his children in crimes, ending in her serving time in prison, and then being deported to a separate continent than his children, tips the scales in Joe’s favor. And for better or worse, Joe and Tre seem to think the trauma of their daughter going to prison prematurely brought their parents’ deaths. It certainly traumatized their daughters. I think the only reason Tre gets along so well with her ex is he’s out of her life, and didn’t demand any of her money.
