  1. Grey's just ruined one of the few good things left on the show by having Amelia pregnant with Owen's baby. Amelia and Link were so pure, and Owen shouldn't get to have his cake and eat it too with the women in his life. The man is damn near insufferable at this point, and I don't understand why the writers are giving him all these kids. Amelia and Link - especially Link - deserve better. I could not care less about Maggie's sob story. Sorry, it's unearned. Alex is the most underutilized character on the show. You'd think with so few regulars/favorites left, they'd give him more screen time. Such a shame. New guy has infinitely more chemistry with Meredith than Deloser ever did. Little boy will never be Meredith's equal, and it's about time he was called out for it. My heart breaks for Miranda and Ben. I guess the odds were low for the show to allow both Amelia and Miranda to have babies at the same time, but still.
  2. Nice try Krista/ABC, I'm still not going to watch Station 19. The swap is yet another attempt to get Grey's viewers to watch Station 19. I'm sure some do, but this is obviously a ratings stunt. If Krista wasn't stuck on CougarMer, she could've facilitated a relationship between Meredith and one of the firefighting fellas. After all, she is "the sun" - if people are to be so invested in her romantic entanglements, might as well try to let the other show benefit from it. Oh well. The many missed opportunities of this show continues...
  3. New game: Take a drink every time Nene says "Spiritual Advisor". Sounds like it's going to be her new schtick this season. Also, did anyone else catch that when she was talking to Andy on the float, and he brought up Tardy for the Party being on the playlist, that Nene said that her and Kim are good now?
  4. I saw someone on Twitter say that Phaedra was right after all about Kenya getting a sperm donor, because Marc is so not into her or their relationship. 😬
  5. I'm so over Frank. I think I'm done with the series now.
  6. Penny was partly blamed because she was on Derek's case but was meek and didn't speak up. Then, to the fault of the writers, they ended up having Meredith console and have a teachable moment with a distraught Penny shortly after Derek died - the last thing Meredith should've been doing and not anything anyone wanted to see. Penny ruined season 12 like Minnick ruined season 13 and somehow of all the past people to feature in flashbacks, those two made the cut in this milestone episode. At least we got to see Lexie - you know, the "Grey" that the hospital is actually named for.
  7. That was the best part of the episode for me. Amelia's reacting and then getting to talk about what the loss meant to her, Koracick immediately stepping in, and Link being by her side supporting her. The 100th episode still remains superior of all the milestone episodes IMO.
  8. Seriously! My goodness, talk about overkill... Shondaland definitely didn't have to work this hard with their other leading ladies (Addison Montgomery - Private Practice, Olivia Pope - Scandal, Annalise Keating - HTGAWM). Must've been written in Ellen's $20 million contract extension. I am so glad Meredith and Deloser are over. He's an insecure boy whose best day isn't even in the same universe as Derek's worst. As it is, Meredith barely acts like she even likes him all that much let alone respects him. If the writers have any shred of decency, they will let this pairing stay dead.
  9. I'm not a big Jennifer fan, but how great that she brought up "Beverly" to Danielle. And I loved Dolores' reaction to it. Whenever these ladies go toe-to-toe with her, they should just call her Beverly. lol
  10. Loved Eva's look in her talking head with the pink hat and black suit. Porsha got her baby, but she can do so much better than Dennis' dirty a**. Fool her once, shame on him. But fool her twice... Noelle of the beautiful parentage, I think it's great how open and supportive Cynthia is of her fluidity. Kenya is the epitome of negative energy. She lives for the drama.
  11. Leo is not going to be Amelia and Link's baby's sibling. Stop that nonsense, show. Amelia never adopted Leo, she was Betty's guardian and Leo's glorified babysitter. Let Amelia and Link have their own little family separate from Owen and Teddy's please. How is it that after all this time, Catherine doesn't know that Jackson and Maggie aren't together anymore? She's been in town on and off since the breakup and it's not like it's a big secret. Their bickering is tired. The immaturity of these doctors has hit an all time low. The stuff with Maggie and Sabi was very heavy-handed. They literally just met, but the overshare and rapid-fire "getting to know you" was too much; like they were trying to lay a significant foundation so that Sabi's death could hit harder. I prefer genuine storytelling over forced moments and connections.
  12. I like Dolores. She, IMO, is the most grounded and sanest one of the bunch. Her defense of Teresa is predominately because they've been friends since they were kids, but she also doesn't shy away from trying to present sense to Teresa. She's just not going to attack her friend or talk crap about her behind her back - probably because it's a real friendship and for all of Teresa's faults, Dolores really cares about her and their relationship. But Teresa knows that Dolores isn't going to put up with any ol' bullshit. Anyway, YMMV. Jackie is right about Jennifer. She is Teresa's puppet. Teresa told Jennifer to imitate Jackie and Jennifer hopped right to it. Even last season, Jennifer was so thirsty to be on Teresa's good side because she's the "queen bee" of the Jersey franchise. And Teresa only told Jennifer to do it because, as we've seen, Teresa holds on to grudges and will bring them back up at her convenience. It's no wonder she's invited trash like Danielle back into her life... another foot soldier to do her bidding. Marge got some great work done because she's looking good for those who are into plastics.
  13. It's ABC and the producers fault for casting Spicer in the first place. They knew what they were doing, knew how people would react and knew that he could very well coast by. If they truly wanted to change the voting system after last season's debacle (which I, admittedly, didn't see but heard plenty about), then they would keep the voting to the studio audience in real time along with the judges scores. That's the only way I can think of to stop people voting for stupidity in a dancing competition. The folks getting tickets to the show are actual fans. As it is half the country can't even vote unless they take the time to sign in and look up dances before it even airs in their timezone.
  14. Tasha trying to convince Ghost to take the fall for Tariq. I have to laugh! Ghost was actually right, Tariq should turn his little ungrateful ass in. Killing his sister's murderer, plus Ghost up in Albany with influence, could wipe the slate clean with a good deal. Tasha is the biggest hypocrite, as she's hell bent on not letting go of Ghost to live a life outside of the game while also keeping Tariq on the streets under her eye. It's all such a stupid mess. I see the show trying to absolve Tariq of Raina's mess by having Ghost!Raina try to clear her brother's name. Sorry but no. Can't believe Dre is STILL alive. Ugh.
  15. I love the Fiona Apple opening song and will miss hearing it. I wish it was available for purchase but all iTunes has is a cover of it. Not the same.
  16. Deloser can talk to Zola about anything, yes. But since it was about Zola feeling sad about her dad, someone who actually KNEW Derek should be telling her stories about him. Aunt Maggie. Aunt Amelia. Miranda Bailey. Alex, Richard. Her mother, for goodness sakes! What bothers me about Deloser telling the tumor story is, not only did he not know Derek, he wasn't around when that happened. He's telling that story so far removed from it. The whole setup was disingenuous and a ploy to show how "great" he is with Meredith's kids and that he can be a father figure. Another way to force this pairing. The moment would've been much more meaningful coming from someone who had a real connection to Derek. Heck, between Koracick feeling sad about his son, and Zola feeling sad about her dad, plus Koracick having known Derek (he made mention of it early season 15 when him and Meredith were allowed to interact), even he would've been an interesting/better option to talk to Zola. YMMV
  17. Deloser has no business talking about Derek's tumor on the wall. None. That fool was still in diapers when that happened. Krista & Co are trying way too hard to make him happen. Taking the kids to school? Bet he didn't have a car seat for little Ellis in the car he borrowed from his sister. And the scene of him talking to Zola about her beloved dad reeked of desperation. Him and Maggie were so much better and more palatable together. Such a shame how they dumb Miranda down and make her neurotic. Hi Link!
  18. These two do not like each other. At all. Not excusing Joe's actions, but Teresa never takes ownership for anything (negative) she does in her life. The queen of hypocrisy and deflection. LOL Caroline.
  19. Why is Dre still alive?!?! I know why Tariq is (and they can keep it cuz I'm not even going to waste my time with that). Jesse Williams, not the greatest actor but he's fine as hell. This is a disappointing final season, to say the least. But the opening credits still bump!
  20. Angelina kissed 24 ON THE CHEEK. The cheek. And, when that episode aired, she immediately followed that by kissing Jenni on the cheek. Jenni and Snooki are mean girls. That Snooki is so offended by being called out on her behavior while trying to call Angelina out is so hypocritical. Birds of a feather really do flock together with those two (Jenni and Snooki). I LOL every time "The Note" is brought up. That will live in pop culture infamy. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I've grown to like Angelina this past season. She might be messy, but at least she keeps it real. And I do like that her and Deena have sorta formed their own friendship. Deena is such a mom of the group, but she means well.
  21. He was the one who introduced the nickname last season when he was giving some faux-sob story about his high school days. So, for some us, it's stuck. And for some of us, it fits! YMMV
  22. Maggie is no Cristina Yang. Her waxing poetic about having done a quadruple bypass and how surgery is her truest love... like just stop. Also, it was super weird with Meredith talking to Maggie about Deloser like we and they are supposed to forget that Maggie and him used to f**k. Finally, Meredith and Koracick have scenes together for the first time since like the beginning of last season, and those few minutes of simple interaction were much more appealing than the totality of Meredith and Deloser's very forced and weak pairing. Not enough Alex. Never enough Alex. Such a waste. Gemma might be nuts and Debbie Allen may be legendary, but I just don't care about Catherine and wish Richard would cut his losses. I miss Adele. Ben's reaction to Miranda being pregnant was cute.
