  1. The Joe intro is back! I just want Ghost and Tommy to be cool again. I miss their dynamic together. I thought that at the end was going to set that up, but not so much.
  2. I hope it's Addison or April. No one else would really make sense at this point (and most of them are dead. 😥). It's not going to be Cristina. Who cares about Leah, Shane Ross or Stephanie. If it were Arizona or Callie, because of how they constructed Arizona's exit, one would think they'd make an appearance together which I do not foresee. And besides, there are already two ortho doctors in Link and the other guy, so Callie's not really necessary. Although I do think April might be a long shot because it was Krista's decision to end her story in the first place (same goes for Arizona).
  3. I don't know why two grown men, Ghost and Tommy, are talking too much and oversharing with Tariq. He's a teenager who they both claim they want to protect and keep out of the street life, yet they keep telling him stuff he doesn't need to know. It's so dumb. And Tariq is so ungrateful - this kid grew up in a cushy life, he has access to the best education and every material thing he's ever asked for, and he has the audacity to be a disrespectful little shit to his parents. Lest he forget that it's his fault that Reina died. He did that. It seems clear that they're grooming him for a spin-off. Between that and needlessly changing the theme song in the last season, how short-sighted is the show creator?
  4. I've seen rumblings that In which case, this season will be a complete wash for me. Because what we have here: Tommy and Jamie still at odds, no Angela and Jamie/Angie sexiness (I know I'm in the minority), and Tariq's annoying behind - is just not cutting it. Maybe I set my expectations too high for the final season.
  5. I know it's foolish, but I'm still holding out hope that Krista will come to her senses and eventually pair Meredith with Koracick. It's like once she decided that DeLoser was "the one", she cut off Meredith and Koracick's interaction and that was probably one of the best stuff that happened in season 15. They played off of each other well, Koracick has dealt with some big loss in his life (his child), and IMO they make a better pair and more sense than force-feeding cougar Meredith onto her sister's ex-boyfriend. Then they could free up DeLoser to have the Station 19 crossover relationship. He'd make far more sense dating one of those gals than Koracick, anyway. Sigh... current Grey's is full of lots of wasted potential.
  6. The best part is, after she started following her heart and let her self love and be loved by Rafael: her life had passion, her writing was better, and she was so happy and in love there was singing. ☺️
  7. Probably because Jane, in her resistance to grow up and let go of the "idea" of how things should be and instead allow herself to follow her heart, wouldn't STFU about Michael.
  8. Rafael absolutely supports Jane's beliefs. Just because he's not religious doesn't mean he doesn't respect that Jane and her family is. Sure, there are compromises to be had when it comes to THEIR child(ren), but even in episode 2 of this season when Jane said she was pulling Mateo out of CCD, Rafael says how Jane's religious beliefs have been a source for good in her life. And him removing himself from a relationship while the woman he loves needs to "figure out" her emotions because her not-dead husband came back is not a terrible thing. Far be it for anyone to put themselves first! He took himself out of the equation, and rightfully so, when he saw Jane waffling because he knew she needed to explore things with Michael. And, yes, he's allowed to be hurt and mad about that because they were on track to getting engaged and married and building a life and future together. But judging by their past experience, he had no way of trusting that Jane was going to want to stay on that path. Maybe Michael would've blindly accepted Jane putting him on the back burner because his only point of existing was to be Jane's lapdog - and let's not forget all of the gaslighting he did to Jane in season 1! - but Rafael actually has some self respect.
  9. Yet she was jealous as all hell when Rafael dated her cousin while married to said choice. In any case, part of Jane's growth throughout the series was learning to follow her heart and not be stuck on concrete plans, and that lead her to her passions - which includes Rafael, who she chose over Michael and doesn't regret. In fact, when she had the freedom to choose Michael again, even after saying bye to him in Montana and being turned down by Rafael, Michael wasn't an option for her because she no longer wanted him. She signed up for online dating instead.
  10. I found Kat Sandoval to be a distraction who didn't really add much to the show or group. I am looking forward to this final run. 10 episodes means little to no filler. I don't know how likely this is, but I'd love to see Nadine again before it ends.
  11. They did the same thing to Jane and Rafael in season 2 to facilitate Jane reuniting with and marrying Michael (so he could be her "first" I guess? as a means to extend the Jane/Rafael reunion because the endgame couple can't reunite too soon?) As for the "deal breakers", in fairness it was Michael who said it to Jane, right? Just because he said it to her doesn't mean she can't feel that way and say it to someone else. It's not like she fed both guys the same line.
  12. It's wild to me that some prefer Michael to be dead over getting the nice happy ending that he got. He's alive, he's found love - a partner that is compatible to where he is in his growth and life now, they're having a baby and getting married. He's happy. Yet because he didn't end up with Jane, death should be his only other option? Jane and Michael were never going to be endgame. Never. He was part of Jane's growth, not her happily ever after. Michael didn't have a bad ending, and, quite frankly, it was a courtesy bringing him back again in 5x17 just to show where his life is at now. The Mexican lasso wedding tradition was a beautiful touch to Jane and Rafael's wedding. The whole event seemed catered to them and their family and it was good to see everyone there together, happy, celebrating. And Rita Moreno, right!
  13. My sentiments exactly. And the LLN even dropped some nuggets about how there's a lot of joy in their future. The whole thing was a beautiful celebration of the family.
  14. Forgot about the credit card/mail fraud. Thanks!
  15. Karla talking to her sons gutted me. Separating children from their parents is just terrible. Glad to see Sophia. Not sure how long she's been out, didn't think it was that much earlier than Piper, but I love that she bounced back quick and is doing well for herself. Piper should heed her advice, but knowing her she won't. I honestly don't care about Piper/Alex relationship. Unpopular opinion though it may be, I don't think they're good for each other beyond their life in prison. And I know Alex is trying to be moral and do the right thing, but pissing off a guard is not a smart thing to do. She has how much longer in her sentence? Also, McCullough had the perfect opportunity to tell Ward about Hellman smuggling in the drugs. This isn't the army, she doesn't need him to have her back, and he would've gotten fired like he deserves. Oh well, all the guards suck. Figueroa for the win!
  16. Lorna first got arrested and placed in Litchfield 1.0 because she stalked Christopher and his girlfriend, right? And the only reason she (with the other Litchfield ladies) are in max is because of the riot. So this new flashback, that presumably takes place before Christopher, is for a crime that she was never caught for/convicted of and more about her mental state.
  17. Very. It was a really nice moment. I only wish the destruction of Cindy and Taystee's friendship never happened. 😕 Their interactions were always amongst my favorite throughout the series. Hate that it was ruined.
  18. I hate that Hellman is warden. I know often times in "real life" bad people get rewarded, but couldn't the show just have him, if no one else, be held accountable for the crap he's pulled? Because, believe it or not, sometimes bad people have to suffer consequences. I'm not saying he gets killed, but being fired isn't out of the realm of narrative possibility. It just pisses me off that we have to watch the ladies get handed a bad deal time and again. And I get it, that's the show and they're prisoners and society doesn't make it easy for folks on purpose, but this is also fictional and I just don't think that wanting some of the real bad guys to get some sort of punishment - or at the very least not get rewarded and promoted to a leadership position! - is asking for too much.
  19. Figueroa and Caputo together has really been the one bright spot for me since last season. I know it's unrealistic in a jail setting for our gals to have happily ever afters, but at least back at old Lichfield, there was a sense of them making the best of what they had. I kinda wish the show ended before everyone was separated and went to max. But thank goodness no more Badison! Good grief, she was terrible.
  20. Great take. The show is very much from Jane's perspective as she is the center of it all, but Rafael is more than just a plot device who revolves around her.
  21. Loved it. I'm going to be sad to see it end.
  22. I am long past having sympathy for June getting Hannah back. Her quest keeps hurting people. She should've escaped with Holly/Nichole when she had the chance, and then somehow try to fight for Hannah while safe in Canada with her husband and friends who could help. The stakes are no longer high for when she does something out of line. They aren't going to kill the protagonist, so what is this all really for anymore? June keeps getting chances and she keeps screwing up.
