  1. The whole episode I was thinking this is 2021. Everybody has phones on them at all times. Why not just call somebody? Like the sheriff, he is super eager to help everyone anyway. Anyway, the major's wife looked stunning at their anniversary dinner and the moment between Asta and Harry when she told him she won't let him die was really well-acted. Another great episode, I'm so happy it was renewed for season 2.
  2. That's a big relief. I just hope they can convince Anna Faris to come back one last time.
  3. The idea of a bridge / catwalk connecting their houses was really adorable actually.
  4. LoL. I loved it when "finding a bottle of champagne" was a cause for celebration at Bob's household. I felt for Abishola when she found her mom and Olu discussing her wedding. She was so happy when she asked to be included in the conversation and then they just shut her out. It explains a lot about why she became the way she is.
  5. Of course. She alluded to it in the night swimming episode.
  6. There is a long behind the scenes video about the show that is really fascinating in case someone is interested. Alan Tudyk (the actor playing the main character) says that each time he has to put on the alien mask, it takes hours just to put it on him because they glue it on and then paint it.
  7. I have to say the actor's hobbit accent was really good, which surprised me. It wasn't exactly pleasant but it was certainly faithful to the original.
  8. Everything about Harry's dream was awesome. I liked that within his dream he was insulted about his sexual performance which shows an insecurity in the area, and he didn't even defend himself, which makes sense since for a human that would be a huge deal but for him that act is not as natural / more strange.
  9. She will do the lights things that Jonah did for her in episode 1. They get back together. The store closes down. The end.
  10. 6 years of working retail, and he still believes he is better than his co-workers.
  11. I liked Kemi and Abishola's serious glance at each other before telling Gloria that her son sounds like a criminal 😄 Dottie's explanation about how you can raise your kids in a strict way but they will not want to talk to you was so true to life and demonstrated really well.
  12. The "I was fixing a furnace so things got hot" line was so good 😄 . And Gemma's too high operatic style singing was hilarious XD.
  13. Yes. Amy will come back & reunite with Jonah!! The show was literally originally going to be called, “The Greatest Love Story Ever Told.” The show was about Amy & Jonah from the beginning so I believe it is the only logical way in which it could end. In this past week’s episode, we saw Ron & Connie (Amy’s parents) for the first time in a long time. We heard mentions of Amy & Parker & for what? Also, we see Eric & Mateo talk about getting engaged to be married! Who would attend that wedding? Amy of course! I mean she’s Eric’s sister, so that’s a definite. Also, considering how they ended things with Amy & Jonah earlier in the season (Cali pt. 2), it was left SO open ended... (She said, "What if I'm making a mistake?" And he said then she'll know where to find him. Sounds like the perfect set-up to me!) & I believe this was entirely intentional so things could be rekindled between them. They both loved each other & neither wanted to actually break up (as we heard Jonah admit in this episode). Amy had every right to be scared of committing to marriage, after her history with Adam. It was just a culmination of things that resulted in a huge mess.... I believe they were destined to be together & that is what we will ultimately see play out in the finale. There is no other way they could do them justice. Everyone is rooting for them.
  14. Christie needs to fix her relationship with Violet once and for all in the finale. It was the central conflict of the show in the first 3 seasons.
  15. I don't know what Cheyenne's halloween costume was, but she looked stunning.
  16. Her winter spring summer or fall, all you gotta do is call line was so adorable ❤️ I also liked her crush's slip about having good memories with a strip club 😄
  17. I really liked the chain of pain the group demonstrated in this episode, and how they pass the negativity onto each other. It's a pretty unusual plot but it's so true to life. About Wade and Shannon... long distance sucks and it's a shame the writers took their story in this direction. Their scene in the diner was adorable, specially Wade's delivery when he said "I just wanna hear about you"...so sweet. I don't like that they are basically broken up because the chatter on the streets is that there is no way this show will be renewed for another season. And in that case, it really would have been better if Wade and Shannon can just make it work. 😢
  18. Mateo and Eric's sudden marriage talk sounds like they're laying the groundwork for Amy to show up at their wedding in the finale so she can get back together with Jonah. Garret was also great in this episode, I liked that he stood up for Glenn.
  19. The inscription bracelet was such a lovely idea! It made me melt in my seat into a puddle of romantic tears. I'll be rewatching that scene a lot. ❤️
  20. The joke about Katie's parking ticket was pretty funny 😄 I liked the scene where Oliver and Taylor acknowledged the strangeness of their situation. It was a welcome bit of maturity in their behavior into the episode.
  21. I hope you're right. It's the ultimate comfort show, it needs to go on as long as possible.
  22. This was renewed for 2 more seasons today ❤️ So happy.
