  1. This episode was really fun. I loved how rude the neighbors were to each other 🀣. And so quick to break into a fight too. I did think Victoria went too far. Frank pranked him once. She got him back three times. That is just unfair.
  2. I liked how Ron got Mr. Mittman on board. About the ending, well, it was nice that Henry found his true purpose and contetnment in his life. And I suppose Casey's appearance was meant to demonstrate that even if you achieve the stardom and acting success, it's not everything it is cracked up to be. About the others, I don't know...I guess Kyle made it and Lydia is his manager. Roman and Sacson didn't. We really don't know what happened with Constance in the end, just that she realized bunch of bad things. And I suppose Lucy did succeed in getting that gig she mentioned, because she was not there in the post-credits scene.
  3. It doesn't surprise me. Very good show.
  4. It's the guy on the left I think.

    Season 01

Yeah I watched the whole thing yesterday. I wish the show spent more time on that guy who complained about dating shallow women. In episode 3 we see him do better in dating after his therapist makes him realize what he is doing wrong. All of this happens in maybe 45 seconds of screen time, but that would have been a very compelling storyline about self-reflection and getting out of your bad patterns if we were allowed to see it. I will say, Liz was my main reason for sticking with this show. She is an absolute delight and that "rock tumbling" hobby sounds very interesting. I wish we got some close-up shots of the finished rocks she creates, I am sure they look beautiful.
  6. Planning on watching this. I'm happy to read the reception is positive πŸ’™

    Season 01

I heard so much praise for this show, I finally watched ep 1 today and it was SO boring and stupid. And not one bit funny. Christa Miller was the only redeeming factor about whatever this tried to be. I don't know if I should stick with it or just give up, feeling very conflicted right now.
  8. Constance was very entertaining as a boss, it was nice to see her so driven and succeed in the end. And her prom story? Chilling. Henry only succeeding in the end thanks to connections is very true to life. Sadly, that's really how it works. It's who you know, not how talented you are.
  9. I really like Frank and the allusions of his bad childhood. It's relatable and makes us understand why he is the way he is more. I don't agree with Patel, the way he relates to his father is entertanining to watch. It was sweet when Frank and Victoria were amiable in their shared defeat concerning Hot Vet in the end.
  10. Ep 10: Well, I have to give kudos to the show. They wrapped each storyline in a good and satisfying way where the series could continue if it really needed to but if it doesn't, it's perfectly fine since all the stories reached their conclusions. Dee Dee's breakdown scene was so cute πŸ₯Ί. And I loved that she found a career in the end that worked for her, she is a survivor. About Edward, oh Edward....he was infuriating to watch, and I liked the scene when his brother called him out on being a little bitch (there really is no other way to phrase this haha). He really needed to get himself together and stop being a silent a-hole to everyone around him, and then finally it happened. I was glad to see his behavior begin to improve and his scene with the falafel-merchant was very sweet, and the moment which showed him letting go of his brother was also well-done. And I liked that he even showed Shay some appreciation in the end and that he began communicating with people. I also liked that the wife broke up with the gay guy. He was just deluding himself and would have cheated on her eventually. This is for the best. Although if you think about it in the sense of the series, this guy's entire storyline was very minimal and simplistic, I feel the show wouldn't have been any worse off if it was simply just not included, but okay. The Kojo-Amanda storyline was entirely stupid and even while skipping 90% of their scenes all through the seasons, I had no problem understanding what was going on. That's how clichΓ© it was. Well good for her for getting her win, I guess. Sam ending up with his fiancΓ©e was surprising, but it made sense, the girl said Sam was just a way to feel close to his deceased brother and that was a rational explanation. It really isn't a good basis for a relationship, so I get it. In the end the letters lead to nothing big or exciting, which makes sense: there is no big mystery to involve an innocent 12-year-old in. I don't think it was necessary to build the big suspense for these letters over the course of 4-5 episodes, in the end they amounted to almost nothing. But fine, the show did what it wanted to I guess. Overall, I would say this was a good show, even if often infuriating. It was worth the watch just for the Dee Dee storyline, which was perfection. My only critique? We needed more of her!
  11. This interview with Thor's actor is quite interesting, he effortlessly switches between how he actually talks and the Thor accent.
  12. I liked the moment when Rupert told Rebecca that men get tired of the same old thing. You could see it really pierced her soul. Good acting there.
  13. Gotta give it to them - that was a very good promotional video. It gives a good overview into the upcoming season without giving too much away.
  14. I liked the scene where Abishola called Bob. It was nice to see her confide in him on that level. Can they just write Goodwin off the show already!?
  15. Oh no poor Grover had to stay at home alone & unsupervised 😧πŸ₯ΊπŸ€
  16. I can really relate to the ambivalency about eggs. It's such a mysterious topics where both sides have strong arguments.
  17. I'm very curious to see if they will actually wrap up the storylines next episode or are they leaving things open in hopes of a second season.
  18. Well if the actress has been going to charter schools that just gives more credibility to her criticisms since she lived the actual experience so she knows what she is talking about. The executive made no points.
  19. Ep 4: I know I always say this but this artistic take on food by the new chef is so much fun to watch and very interesting.
  20. I really like the show, it's very comforting. Maybe because it deals with such small-scale issues. I will be sad to see it go when they probably cancel it.
  21. Ep 9: I loved the scene where Dee Dee finally told the truth to her daughter and apologized for her perceived failures. She also found hope for a different future. What a powerful scene. The show really should have just been about her. I thought the Sam storyline was well-done: his wife just called him out on his BS and gave him the ultimatum andd that is totally understandable. Of course realistically he will just lie that he is 100% in and then he will start to sneak behind her back in a year or two. The Adriana-Kojo storyline is as boring as ever. Sooo stupid. So predictable. So been there done that. Just why?
  22. Nate is so getting fired.
  23. I was surprised that the show already had his wife find the texts. I wonder if she will confront him. I'd expect this to be dragged out for a really long time normally.
  24. Grover's enthusiasm about interacting with the library box was so cute 🀣 It was nice to see Oliver from American Housewife in this episode. I'm glad the actor is still getting work.
  25. I found it comical that the daughter finds out that they are 3 Million in debt yet all she cares about is going on her stupid pointless trip which she expects her mom to pay for.
