I agree! That show will be a "hoot"! Did anyone else watch a show that came on later that was from Season 1, Episode 8. I watched to see how many changes have been made! Of course, the final game was one where they didn't have an order to go in, just find the ten items! The freezer section really changed....the items were all behind doors, no open freezers. Also Guy didn't try to fool them with the 3-2-1 Go segment. Of course, there was Melissa D'Arabian to make folks happy! And a very slim Beau MacMillian and Richard Blais. I really liked the winning contestant, Chief Mark, a firefighter playing for charity! He won because the judges felt he "played the game" best but he still had interesting food. I think I will watch for more of the really early seasons because it is a "stripped" down version!

I just looked at my local listing and it shows GenerationRenovation on from 1 AM-1:30 AM??? They must really be hiding it! Edited to add that I just checked the DVR and that states that the show will be on at 10 PM and then again at 1 AM. Will have to check it out!

Exactly what was that? I have never seen such messy work on a show before!! The winner was really good and the guy from Holiday Wars(was his helper on HW's also?) was sorta' ok but the other two were disasters! Hopefully next week will be better.

I agree!!! How was that awful thing the winner? I loved the Abominable Snow Man in the tree! It was adorable with the cute little toes poking out! "They was robbed!" Thank goodness they won the overall contest! That reindeer on the sleigh should have won it by himself! His scarf was wonderful. I'm still wondering about the black garlic treat...really didn't sound like a treat to me. All in all a fun show.

I am with you! They are so bad that I too, am spending less time here and I hate that! If I work on my laptop, it is much better but I don't use that often...it is mostly for my sewing stuff. I know that money is needed to run a site like this, but this is "over-kill" to me, driving people away instead of drawing folks in. One other thing that has happened because of the ads, I sometimes forget to hit submit, and don't post what I think I have...anyone else do this?

Thank you! I couldn't figure out who he reminded me of and you hit it on the nose!! When I was growing up we had a huge holly tree in the front yard. It was a beautiful shape and full of those beautiful, shiny red berries! My first thought was mistletoe but I quickly remembered it was not a tree but a parasite! We go to Trivia Night at Chick-fil-A and boy Jeopardy sure helped tonight! They had a question about Eric Clapton and Cream, which I would have known and the Montgomery Wards and Rudolph, which I learned last week from Jeopardy! They also had a question about the original filling flavor of Twinkies (banana which I learned from Jeopardy!) My son thought I was crazy but he believed me so we got that one. We took first place for the third time in a row so we have loads of Chick-fil-A goodies!!!

The thing about Christine's wagers was that they were so small! And I am not sure even she knew what she was betting! The last DD that she missed, she looked all around before coming up with $624? Along with her strange betting I could not stand her voice and voices don't usually both me! I miss Jennifer and wish she was back. ( I miss James also but he will be back soon). I mentioned this for @lb60....sorry I couldn't resist!

Oh my...Luckily our town was in between all the storms. We had one big downpour but otherwise we were lucky. I didn't realize that there were the bad storms to the south of us....our television coverage was about the storms to the north. Prayers go out to Laurel and all the other areas hit by the storms.

I had fun watching the show with KJ because my son teaches at MSU(Mississippi State). I just knew they would pick house #2 because of the views! This was a pretty good show and the couple was fun! I liked their house to begin with....but the new one had the great views and he can always get a larger tub!

Wow, I really enjoyed the man on the latest episode! Loved his mask...blew everyone away in MHO! And then his final work was fantastic! Really liked his squashed elf and everyone seemed to enjoy his cookies also. I didn't think there was even a contest between the three in the final. I wrote this yesterday but didn't hit the "Submit" button. I think all of these awful ads is doing this to me!!!

I must say that Sarah is not a favorite BUT she has turned out some pretty good stuff. We definitely don't have anyone like Joshua, but her work has been clean, neat and pretty on point throughout the contest. I am rooting for Jennifer because she has been good and is pretty original. I don't know what happened to the two guys last night but their work was pretty lame. I couldn't believe Dwight's igloo....he had everything on his side and he just over did...plus no opening for the igloo!!

I'm sorry, @saber5055. I would have sworn that I posted my score last week...Between Thanksgiving and being a bit under the weather, I guess is why I missed! Anyway, last week was 2/5, 1* and to keep things interesting, that was my score for this week, 2/5, 1*. I really need to get a few more answers! I finally figured out why I didn't know about Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. We did not have a Montgomery Wards when I was growing up! Until I moved to FL I hadn't even heard of one....good excuse tho'!

I couldn't believe that the judges sent Matt home! I thought his dragon was one of the best designs done. I would have sent Eagan or Jesse's too red Valentine display. Neither one of them were that great. What are these judges thinking of? Floyd's Eagle was Wonderful!!!!!
