Ashley is determined to be seen as a deep, spiritual woman rather than a average mother of three. She irritates me and has since her first appearance. She wants other women to aspire to her greatness and doesn’t seem to realize that we can see her as she really is. A vapid woman who lets her husband have “spiritual “ sex with other women so she can be seen as some great matriarch.

I think Alex also realized that if Layla had a hard time settling after the party he would be the one dealing with her as she is probably more bonded with him. He spends far more time with her and knows her routine.

People get very combative about the food other people eat. My sons fiancée has celiac. She has said that in some ways it has made her life much easier when the gluten-free life became popular because she had far more choice but in other ways she worries that people especially in restaurants think she’s just being trendy and aren’t taking her seriously. It was a steep learning curve for me but I made sure to ask questions and show her any prepackaged things I was planning on using. Her mother actually thanked me for being so careful as many people weren’t. If you care enough to want to feed other people I don’t understand why you don’t want them to feel comfortable about what they’re eating.

When we were watching Kody I wondered just how many hours the editor had to watch to end up with what we saw. I think Kody blathered on ages because he could no longer call family meetings and pontificate at them.

All the girls are irritating but each in their own way. These two bugged me the most. Lilly and her insistence on giving the new baby the father’s last name because “this time” it’s different really bugged me. She hasn’t matured at all. Jenna is an indulged twit who wants instant obedience and doesn’t seem capable of understanding anything adult.

We have yet to see Mike’s side of the breakup. Could be he is a sociopath or Natalie did or said something to make him choose not to go through with the wedding. Could also be producer driven crap and next week we’ll get more of the story.

Kody was insane with irritation that the wives were making their own COVID decisions and weren’t even pretending to listen to him and follow his lead. Good for them. While Kody sees himself as an endlessly wise and strong leader and someone whose wives and children desperately need to have his guidance he has proven a million times over he is an idiotic buffoon. He isn’t capable of making any smart decisions concerning the family.

Maybe Jeremy loved Punky Brewster when he was younger and is very excited about the new show. I never watched either but keep seeing the ads for the new one where she wears two different shoes again.

She could have asked him to help look for the ring instead of screaming. If she did that to me I would have ignored her too.

It was just so utterly tone deaf to sit and whine with your sisters while you are on another vacation. A vacation you needed because you were having your kitchen redone at considerable expense. Danielle acting like her children were the only ones in the world that had their plans changed was especially irritating.

I love Missy and wish we could get an episode narrated by her as an adult.

What caught my eye during the Christine/Robyn conversation was the red toaster on the counter. Christine used to be deathly afraid of toasters but I guess has changed her mind. It also occurred to me that the conversation should have been more interesting otherwise I wouldn’t even have paid attention to the background.

I can’t even imagine cleaning all that brick around the stove. It didn’t seem designed for a real family to cook in but a kitchen to wow your friends with while you order takeout.
