  1. I attended an event with Ina and Nigella Lawson last year. Ina wore an oversized black shirt with a bit of sparkle, plain black trousers and black velvet smoking slippers. Her hair was shiny and glorious. She was warm, friendly and everything you think she would be. Nigella wore a fabulous fuchsia pantsuit, and was cold and bitchy.
  2. He hung in for 7 years. That's a long con. (We've all been watching this for 7 years, folks. I'm ashamed.) I think he earned his 50%, wasn't he working long hours in a warehouse to pay for Chantel to go to school? And he put up with her crazy family, whereas she could have avoided his crazy family by just never getting on a plane.
  3. Is it even an "indiscretion"? Glenn was unmarried, had a relationship with another unmarried person, and a pregnancy resulted. She made the decision to place the baby for adoption, as many unmarried mothers did at that time, with no input from the father. It appears everyone got on with their lives for many decades until someone decided to stir the pot. What pisses me off is the insistence on immediate family, including bestowing titles such as "Grandpa" on someone you barely know, when you already have a full set of parents and grandparents who have done the heavy lifting.
  4. All reality tv is scripted, but the illiteracy in this family is really shining through in their inability to deliver their lines. Mumbling, bumbling, stuttering.
  5. Are you questioning the Pillow Consultant at B2 Outlets?
  6. It wasn't Big Lots, it was B2 Outlets, which sadly appears to be only in Michigan.
  7. If it was our business, she would have told us?
  8. I'd never heard of Jay Blades, or his show, but the story he told about the guy who saved him was awesome. For Jack Whitehall, check out this clip of one of his appearances on Graham https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4L9jzs-Cttc
  9. I hate when Miriam is on, because I try to fast forward through every word she says, but I don't want to miss what the other guests are saying. She ruined the Matthew Perry episode for me. She's crass and rude, and a male guest who spoke as she does would not be so revered.
  10. Homemade lamb rogan josh. In an attempt to make it healthy, I served it over cauliflower rice. F#*k that noise. The leftovers will be served on basmati. (I'm fine with cauliflower rice, but Indian food needs the real stuff).
  11. It's rather odd that there was a picture of Babs on the "Memory Table" at Buddy's wedding.
  12. And active cases were discussed around the dinner table, with children.
  13. Like a baboon's ass. (I was going to insert a photo, but decided people my be eating breakfast)
  14. 14 hours flying time (not counting layovers), 10 time zones. That sounds like a fun way to spend a weekend.
  15. Cookies are fine frozen. In fact, I prefer to eat them when they're still frozen. Throw them in ziploc backs, or wrap in plastic wrap/foil. Don't be too fussy with how you freeze them, it really doesn't matter in the short term.
  16. Stupid people are generally very happy. They're certainly carefree.
  17. Sent. Sometimes you have to point out to people that they are being stupid, because all previous attempts to correct their error have failed.
  18. Hey, I asked for assistance, not just validation. My finger is hovering over the "send" button, guys.
  19. People are dragging Jennifer on her Instagram page for not posting. I hope she has a PA who monitors her social media for her.
  20. Some of them have Twitter/X, but only post when (apparently) their contracts require them to promote their latest project. Jen Aniston joined Instagram only about a year ago, and promptly set a world record for followers.
  21. My mother just asked me a stupid question via email. Please make me wait to respond, rather than hit "send" on the snarky response I have typed That's all.
  22. It's the speech/accent she's put on. I'm not sure what she think she sounds like - educated/posh/British - but it just sounds like extreme vocal fry through clenched teeth. Didn't John and Patrick remark on Pillow Talk that she speaks like a ventriloquist? And what's Nick's deal? I know he spent time in Australia, but surely not enough that he developed an Australian accent?
  23. I've been involved in litigation in which the Plaintiff got his job by providing a forged university diploma. The employer relied on the diploma provided by the job applicant and never asked for proof from the school, such as a transcript. It was a true Matlock moment when that was revealed.
  24. Sadly (but not surprisingly), "entertainment" sites are posting statements from everyone who ever knew Matthew Perry. "The last thing Matthew said to Random Actress before he died". Well of course it was before he died. To quote Chandler Bing "Shut up, shut up, shut up!"
