  1. He hasn't quit yet. He's in seminary school so I think he still needs the (extra) money
  2. No, it supposedly refers to the person being a high level government official having Q Clearance, which is a Department of Energy security clearance
  3. I really thought Jamie was going to beat that guy up and thought how out of character it was for him. I'm not sure getting the guy's friends to beat him up for supposedly squealing to the cops was a better solution, at least given Jamie's character, but it kind of felt good That bartender was kind of a jerk. I'm a little surprised that it was Baez rather than Danny having issues with transgenderism, but I do recall he dealt with some drag queens with respect. The storyline seemed to be handled with some sensitivity though the ending was lame. Danny seems to have reigned in his behavior and became more sensitive this season The governor was a jerk, though I'm not sure Erin should have gone to him and sandbagged her boss. She was right though in the sense the crusader was more aggressive than he needed to be Still not sure about the Gormley storyline
  4. I was fully expecting Max to do his usual craziness and was glad he got schooled by others on his "we need to fix systemic racism now!" nonsense. If you find out you've been ignoring your chief equity officer for 3 years and stuck them in a broom closet, you are the problem. I was really surprised the writers went that way. I hope they have Max from now on work with others instead of declaring a problem and throwing solutions at people. I don't know how this guy keeps his job
  5. The Art/Lizzie scenes were the best part of the episode, as was the flashback. I was not quite expecting the dad to be so loving and gentle given how he seemed to come across in the pilot.
  6. Man, you were so right about that. Why talk up the kids but not show them at all? Maybe for Covid reasons, but it’s annoying. Otherwise, I liked the episode. I wonder if Eve is considering having kids given how she bonded with her nieces?
  7. Generally good episode, but besides Deacon’s too simplistic view of peoples’ views of cops, I’m annoyed that they threw away the last episode’s poignant ending by throwing in a line that Hondo’s dad was fine
  8. Hour long series finale May 20 at 9pm https://deadline.com/2021/04/last-man-standing-series-finale-hour-long-air-date-fox-1234730618/
  9. I'm not sure I liked any of the siblings (I think I liked the spouses more, and the kids), yet I kind of liked this. I'm willing to see where it goes at least for a few episodes
  10. Just to note, this was intended to be 10 episodes for the first season but a reviewer told me it's 8 because of the pandemic
  11. In regards to Tina, I recall Tina performed a series of duets with I think Beyonce on some awards show and Beyonce introduced her or called her The Queen of Soul or something like that, and Aretha complained about it the next day in a press release! A lot of people thought that was a really petty move
  12. Thanks, I guess I had the names switched
  13. I’m glad Goodwin’s son decided to work out of another hospital. There was too much conflict of interest (and family) with them at the same hospital Interesting case with the kidney pain patient. My first reaction would have been to remove the kidney. I’m glad Crockett and Natalie found a solution. Why do Nat and her mom call Crockett by his last name when Nat is dating him?
  14. No specific date yet, but set to premiere in August http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2021/04/07/fox-announces-summer-2021-schedule-88114/20210407fox03/
  15. Season 3, Holey Moley 3D in 2D, premieres June 17 at 9pm http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2021/04/07/abc-announces-summer-2021-premiere-dates-957113/20210407abc01/
  16. New episodes Friday, June 4 at 8pm http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2021/04/07/abc-announces-summer-2021-premiere-dates-957113/20210407abc01/
  17. As even Pedrad described it, it's rather cringey, especially with how desperate Chad is to be part of the in crowd. I think the biggest issue I have is Pedrad, being an adult woman, casting herself as Chad. It's unique and probably works for the most part, but I'm a little bothered by any possible love scenes or even kissing scenes (which we had a bit in the pilot) between an adult woman who created the show and teenage cast members
  18. I'm still astounded that only 14 people died given the raging infection, but I guess that falls into the < 3% death rate overall
  19. I think Olivia said towards the end that they (or maybe just she) wanted a place they could call their own and make new memories, I guess without memories of Olivia's current place. But going from a great place to squalor just was a bad idea and I'm glad Junior spoke up
  20. Poor Lia I wasn't paying enough attention initially and thought Dwayne and Hopkins were trying to get cell phones to work in order to call the phone booths, not to get the regular phones in the phone booths and on the walls to work. Duh
