  1. Aw Kerwin, we knew ye well. I will kind of miss the bad couple partnership. It was interesting to see Zhilan carry out her revenge, yet emotional that she was killing Kerwin, plus Kerwin refused to fight her
  2. Nancy Lee Grahn's Tweet from yesterday thanks ABC, Valentini and Disney for following the science and keeping the cast and crew safe but it's not clear exactly what that means and there don't seem to be news articles indicating a change to vaccination mandates, so I don't know exactly what she's referring to
  3. Most of the episodes have mainly been one fantasy, or one major and one minor. It makes me wonder if the problem is a low budget or Covid protocols or both
  4. I didn't think about it during the episode, but it does make me wonder what Jake does all day during his suspension?
  5. Both these episodes were pretty entertaining this week. Preempted for football next week
  6. The first episode of The Future of Work doc series, “The New Industrial Revolution”, was pretty interesting. It covered the disruption of robotics, the digital revolution, outsourcing, the pandemic and other things and how all that effects workers, the gig economy, medicine, farming, etc. It’s exciting and scary at the same time. I’m glad I’m retired and have a good pension and investment income and don’t have to worry about it. Workers especially have to be more nimble and many may not have access to a secure retirement
  7. Nia, do not trust the imp in your dream! Nxy sure is a smooth talker I can’t quite understand why Supergirl was so determined to bring the prisoners back to that prison given she had uncovered the warden was corrupt. She obviously thought there were uncorrupt officials there but that just made her look really naive Pretty good episode overall
  8. I finished the 3rd episode, about the investigation, the trial and the custody trial. The custody judge gave Allen a total smack down, a win for Dylan and Mia that the criminal investigation didn’t give them. I don’t know how Allen thought he could win a custody case given the odd parental role he had in the children’s lives, his odd behavior towards Dylan, and his affair with Soon Yi. Just terrible that the criminal investigation seemed to be in the bag for Allen That doctor who coined parental alienation syndrome was a trip. He didn’t do studies or peer reviews, just went with his gut. Then it turned out he was for pedophelia
  9. That was a rather gross death for the pop star Just what accent is Ludi Lin (Kerwin) using? It seems to be a variation of British, perhaps Singapore? Or is that his own accent?
  10. He said it in such a way that was just nasty and rude. Hope it all comes back to bite him
  11. My guess is that the pandemic has made them need to stretch out the episodes, like it’s done for quite a few other shows. Maybe they weren’t able to make the amount of episodes they intended
  12. Most adorable this episode are the tree kangaroos and the leopard cubs. You really have to feel for those koalas and the disruptions those Australian fires caused. Kudos to the teams who worked together to help them, though I’m not sure koalas will survive over the next couple of decades with how things are going for them
  13. So far, pretty interesting, though it seems focused on those superstars who died suddenly. So far, it's covered Whitney, Kobe and John Ritter
  14. Manifest saved by Netflix with 20 episode deal for a 4th and final season https://deadline.com/2021/08/manifest-saved-renewed-season-4-netflix-cast-josh-dallas-melissa-roxburgh-return-1234823691/ Course, Lucifer supposedly was going to have a final season and Netflix gave it one more
  15. Al was already worried about his family last season; I suspect given the current situation, he will be even more so in the second season. Things were not going well before so current events will increase the anxiety. This show is more a dramedy anyway, so I think the takeover by the Taliban can be easily incorporated. Things like the danger to Al’s family and his fellow interpreters won’t magically be over any time soon. That’s assuming of course CBS doesn’t decide to outright cancel it given the current situation
  16. Esme is so gonna get herself killed by Ryan, isn’t she? Or become his protege. Or she’ll kill him. Whatever she ends up doing, it won’t be good. Like Harmony said, she’s trouble
  17. I noticed that too, but didn't the original Roarke do that too? I'm sure it's just a plot device to get the viewers up to speed. It's kind of clunky though
  18. Renewed for a 2nd season https://tvline.com/2021/08/27/kevin-can-f-himself-renewed-season-2-amc-annie-murphy-returning/ Let's hope it can work out the kinks because I'm not sure it's sure what kind of show it should be
  19. I was actually surprised when it turned out the police union president and his people were messing with the snacks to get back at Amy. That was a hilarious reveal I don’t think Huffy Holt came across as particularly huffy, more like his usual lecturing self
  20. I enjoyed the second episode far more than the first as I’ve never particularly warmed to Doug Judy, though I didn’t hate the first episode
  21. It certainly seems like Nina is going to ask Liesel to take out Peter. Go for it Liesel! She’ll make sure Peter stays dead
  22. The Camarilla could have also recruited the Vice President at some point during his life. But knowing these guys, they could have played the long game with the Vice President The guy who is currently the leader of the Camarilla is just so smarmy. I hate seeing his face. The actor does a really good job playing a know-it-all jerk
  23. This was pretty fun, with Debbie Morgan really making it work. I didn’t expect the professor’s fantasy to cross over to hers. I do agree that barely two fantasies is looking obvious and a little strange with this new version. Given they were still filming this Spring, it probably is due to Covid protocols
