  1. I don't know if this will help, but my DVR is showing the theme song special will repeat on Friday, July 30 at 11pm ET
  2. FYI, here’s the upcoming docs list for the rest of the season https://variety.com/2021/tv/news/dmx-juice-wrld-hbo-music-box-trailer-1235027568/
  3. I thought the final two episodes were pretty interesting. Those poor fact checkers dealt with a lot I found this series interesting enough to want to read the book at some point; I already had it on my Kindle list to buy eventually
  4. July 26 Episode 5: The Editors Episode 6: The Spy
  5. If you don’t use a DVR, maybe check TVGuide.com/listings for your area
  6. It’s a separate special

  9. FYI, CNN is doing a special on Sitcom theme songs. I believe it premiered yesterday or at least within the last couple of days; check your local listings for repeats
  10. Cultbox has a nice writeup of the panel and analyzes the teaser a bit with some screenshots https://cultbox.co.uk/news/headlines/doctor-who-series-13-trailer-information-casting-news-and-images
  11. Yes, but he didn’t just look old, he looked very different. His Wikipedia page shows a picture of him from 2011 that looks similar to now so he’s looked like that for a few years
  12. Pretty good overview of workplace comedies Man, Hal Linden looked rough
  13. The more direct Youtube video And the trailer that was shown Various tidbits: Dan's last name is Lewis The season is all one story and each episode is a chapter. Chibnall said they had to figure out how they wanted to do the show given the pandemic so they went big and Chibnall says this is the most ambitious thing they've done for this era. Each episode ends on a cliffhanger (or several of them do, it wasn't clear) There are a number of guest actors who recur across several episodes The special guest was Game of Thrones actor Jacob Anderson, who plays Vinder and will be recurring. He wasn't able to make it to the panel but he made a video introducing himself and talking how excited he was There are several old monsters and there's a monster in particular that Mandip was very excited about (not sure if old or new) The cast was asked for one word to describe the season: Mandip: riveting John: inspirational Jodie: mysterious Chibnall: swarm Sounds pretty exciting and intriguing. Hope the serialized nature doesn't bog it down ETA: Also, here are the two new cast pictures that were shown.

  16. Spencer is and has always been a jerk, but I prefer the adult one to the kid one. Spencer as a child was too over the top with his adult talk and schemes
  17. Season 2 (6 episodes) of Serengeti dropped on July 18 on Discovery+. The Discovery linear channel showed the first 2 episodes on the 18th as a come-on, but you have to have Discovery+ to see the whole season. Kind of bait and switch because they didn't make it entirely clear it would be mostly exclusive on Discovery+. I've only watched the first 2 episodes so far Anyway, the second season (as well as the first) is just beautiful. I keep wondering how they get some of those shots (probably at least in part cameras buried in the ground or in fauna). That flood was scary
  18. Interesting stuff coming up in August: Lucy Worsley's Royal Myths and Secrets, Vol 2 (3 parts) premieres on August 29 with a look at the Reformation Generation 9/11 premieres on August 31. It's a doc that follows the kids born to men that died on 9/11. That's probably one of the few 9/11 anniversary docs I'll be watching this year because I found watching 9/11 docs over the years is a bit hard Icon: Music Through the Lens, which started in July, is pretty interesting so far
  19. Nice that Jason and Anna know about Peter or think they do and are going to talk to Elizabeth and Finn about it. I don’t buy that Ryan would be housed in a lower level prison. At the very least, he should be in a highly secure medical facility
  20. Jack’s hole in one was pretty good, plus he won; otherwise it was a mostly nice, fun episode. I did think the joust segments looked pretty lame
  21. I almost missed recording this episode because it’s now on earlier and that must have been a late change for my DVR to pick it up automatically but I saw promo of the time switch and was able to set a manual recording. I was tired and falling asleep during the episode, so I’m going to have to watch it back before I comment more
  22. Obviously a little late for tonight’s episode (July 22), but the show has swapped timeslots when When Nature Calls and is now at 8pm
  23. That was a fun last segment where the contestants got to go wild with making a birthday cake with certain ingredients. I'm glad Luis and Natalie won. I agree you could tell they would when Yolanda "needed a moment alone" with the cake. And who doesn't know that if 4 people are left in a finale, someone's going home early?
  24. Are Joe and Cecile not already married? I thought for sure they were Very, very rough season, a lot due to Covid, including last season getting shut down early and those episodes getting moved into the beginning of this season, but let’s face it, the show has been struggling even before Covid hit. I think it’s time to start thinking about wrapping the show up I found myself liking Bart and I liked the interaction between him and sister Nora. I was not expecting Reverse Flash to show up. Decent finale with a very nice ending with the renewal of vows
