  1. I remembering reading the Starr Report (at work!) and I think I was bored by the sexual details, but I think I felt it was just a lot of mind numbing details that shouldn’t have been in the report to begin with. I remember there was a mad chaotic scramble to get the report the day it was released, but I don’t recall if it took down the Internet. It wouldn’t have surprised me if it did given how many people wanted to read it and the state of the Internet then I was surprised there wasn’t a postscript, at least on what happened to the 3 main women I’m still not sure this series should have covered this topic, but I think they did a pretty good job
  2. I enjoyed this overall, though the wrapup of Lex and Nxly in the first half of the 2nd episode and spending a half hour on the wedding and show wrapup seemed odd. But it was nice seeing old friends, including Cat Grant (and I laughed that she knew Kara was Supergirl). I actually feel a little bad for Nxly getting sent back to the Phantom Zone. Interesting that Kara went public with her secret identity
  3. EThat Nat Geo Photo Ark photographer will be making a guest appearance on the show. Here’s an interview with him https://www.tvinsider.com/gallery/general-hospital-national-geographic-joel-sartore-jerome-gallery/
  4. Found the article https://tvline.com/2021/11/08/bob-hearts-abishola-morenike-gay-lesbian-storyline-gina-yashere-interview/
  5. There was a good interview with the lady playing Kemi, who is gay, about how bad gays have it in Nigeria (quite badly as they can get arrested) and how gays were well accepted prior to the British control and them bringing Christianity. The writers wanted to show how Abishola handled Morenike being gay but didn't want to go too far because she's the star of the show. I think they made a good compromise of the ladies still not fully understanding but being willing to accept Morenike. I can see Morenike being willing to go for Kemi's arrangement in order to have her family's acceptance, but it was good in the end that she couldn't go through with it

  7. New season premieres Jan 3 http://thefutoncritic.com/news/2021/11/08/fox-announces-premiere-dates-for-new-and-returning-series-using-the-power-of-sports-to-launch-winter-2022-872015/20211108fox02/
  8. New promo pictures for Episode 3 https://www.tvzoneuk.com/post/dwflux-ep3pics A closer look at Swarm and Azure
  9. WHY is Esme so obsessed with whether Joc and Cam have had sex and with getting them to go on a weekend away with her and Spencer? I totally understand Joc’s attitude towards her; it’s annoying the heck out of me. The sex part is none of her damn business
  10. Yeah, not looking good for renewal for our little engine
  11. Firing Steve is a much bigger hit to the show than firing Ingo
  12. The longer 30-second next time trailer for Episode 3: There's also supposed to be an additional look at Episode 3 released at midnight UK time. I don't know if it's just the longer trailer or one of those first look teases networks put out for an upcoming episode
  13. I'm guessing the vaccination policy first and foremost, but the transphobic repost probably didn't help (anyone have the link for that?)
  14. Ingo has apologized in his latest instagram video for not crossing out dude and writing in transgender in his repost of the offensive post but still seems to be decrying left wing stuff including saying that transgender women should not be referred to as "empowered" because women weren't back in the day (real women obvi). I don't think this will help him get his job back if he indeed has been fired. He indicated he would talk about his GH status at another time because he didn't have time as he had things to do, which suggests that he has indeed been let go
  15. Why should Burton be out? Is he refusing to be vaccinated or would it be for another reason?
  16. 7 day ratings are 5.785 million viewers. Still the 2nd most watched program of the day across all channels and the 9th most watched show for the week https://www.tvzoneuk.com/post/dwflux-consolidatedratings
  17. Overnights were 3.96 million viewers ETA: The show was 2nd for the night
  18. Are there any more sources on this? Pretty crappy of Ingo to do something like that
  19. I have to say, I'm enjoying getting cold openings for this season. I hope it continues for the rest of the episodes
  20. The short next time trailer for Episode 3 and yes, the Doctor is wearing a new coat
  21. I'm kind of indifferent to Sontarans in the pantheon of Who baddies, but I really, really enjoyed this. It was a lot of fun and pretty exciting. Team Tardis in 3 different locations after landing in Crimea worked really well. The Doctor took charge in Crimea and was really strong against the Sontaran prisoner and the Sontaran commander and really ticked at the British general for blowing up the Sontaran ships after they agreed to retreat The actress playing Mary Seacole did a good job Good to see Yaz still acting confident even if she's not. Hopefully she and Vinder make it out alive as the new temple guardians. Had to laugh at Dan and Karvanista working together. Love their antagonistic relationship The Sontarans definitely are terrible at guarding their ships Swarm and Azure so far are making great villains I should also point out that I watched both via AMC+, AMC Network's (part owner of BBC America) streaming service, and BBC America, and the sound was much better on AMC+. On AMC+, there are 2 30-second promos for AMC+, the credits are not squeezed, but the next time trailer is only 15 seconds, where BBC America has the longer one
  22. Episode 2: "Saturday Morning Pinks" (November 12, 2021) - This may be about Star Trek: The Animated Series from the 70s By the way, the series is narrated and executive-produced by Gates McFadden (TNG's Doctor Crusher)
  23. From the History Channel It’s on Fridays at 10pm ET and premiered November 5. It’s supposed to be 10 episodes but it looks like the first 4 will be on the History Channel and the remaining 6 will be shown via History’s streaming site http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2021/10/25/the-history-channel-to-celebrate-star-treks-55th-anniversary-with-ten-part-docuseries-the-center-seat-55-years-of-star-trek-premiering-friday-november-5-at-10pm-et-pt-391011/20211025history01/ I really enjoyed the first episode, going through how the show was created and how Lucille Ball was involved via her Desilu studio
