  1. I think the “Fight Club” term is a little misapplied. There apparently were occasional beatings given to those cops or firemen who misbehaved
  2. BBC America will show the first episode of this season at 2:25pm to 3:37pm Eastern Time (1:25pm Central Time, 12:25pm Mountain Time and 11:25am Pacific Time) on the 31st and repeat it again at 8pm ET and a couple more times after that, listing those repeats as an "extended cut", though they are just a couple of minutes longer and there's no word on what "extended cut" means here. But note that the showings likely include commercials, so it will be futile to try to keep up with social media at the same time The Williamson Tunnels under Liverpool will be featured in the new season along with their builder https://cultbox.co.uk/news/headlines/eccentric-liverpool-tunnel-builder-to-be-featured-in-doctor-who-flux
  3. Did we learn if the school head was the father of the murdered girl’s baby? Overall, I liked the episode, though not the cage fight at the end, and I’m going to miss Eddie’s partner
  4. From the BBC press office: Cast and producers tease the new season https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/mediapacks/doctor-who-flux/
  5. New images of guest cast released https://www.tvzoneuk.com/post/drwho-guestcastpics
  6. A ”full season” usually means 22 to 24 episodes but networks have become a little tricky with that term lately
  7. The dinner party was hilarious. This is starting to become one of my favorite shows this season
  8. It might be because they have a Who marathon of scary episodes going on and that’s possibly the only place they have for it, otherwise I don’t know either. Is it considered a scary episode?
  9. Reminder for US viewers, BBC America will be showing Graham Norton’s episode with Jodie Whittaker tonight at 11pm ET; check your local listings for the right time for you
  10. Happy to hear it, it’s a pretty funny show
  11. Anyone know if this will be shown on a US network anytime soon?
  12. Premieres (finally!) Thursday Jan 6 8-10pm ET. The 6-episode limited series will air in 3 parts for 3 consecutive weeks http://thefutoncritic.com/news/2021/10/21/abc-limited-series-women-of-the-movement-chronicling-the-story-of-mamie-till-mobley-seeking-justice-for-son-emmett-till-set-to-premiere-thursday-jan-6-at-8-pm-90302/20211021abc02/
  13. I felt for that family with the two kids. I laughed when one of the doctors said it was possibly the second mid-diagnosis of the week because they were meta-acknowledging they had just done another story on that
  14. Man, Tom really can’t let go of some things. But it was an interesting twist with the sister being the one who delayed the girl with a kiss instead of another brother. And I really liked the talk between Tom and his sister about that time being her first kissing a girl and how it made her feel
  15. I too have trouble seeing how the Paramedicine thing is supposed to be better or a better use of resources than the regular paramedic thing
  16. 10 seasons is a long time for any cast member of a show. Good for Jesse for leaving because it felt right
  17. Sometimes I’ve noticed HBO Max doesn't have something available until maybe later in the evening or the next morning. At the very least, I’d wait until HBO actually starts showing it at 9pm ET/PT
  18. Yowza, major scorched earth there from Ruby
  19. https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/proginfo/2021/44/doctor-who-the-halloween-apocalypse The BBC has confirmed the first episode, titled in the previous post, will run from 6:25-7:15pm on BBC1 The synopsis: "A universe-spanning adventure in space and time starring Jodie Whittaker, Mandip Gill and John Bishop. On Halloween, all across the universe, terrifying forces are stirring. From the Arctic Circle to deep space, an ancient evil is breaking free. And in present day Liverpool, the life of Dan Lewis is about to change forever. Why is the Doctor on the trail of the fearsome Karvanista? And what is the Flux?" BBC America will likely have a press release on when it will be shown in the US, assuming it's on at the same time as the BBC and repeated at 8pm, and not just 8pm ET like usual
  20. Radio Times: Chibnall talks about blowing up the universe in the first episode and featuring some of their biggest ever cliffhangers https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/sci-fi/doctor-who-chris-chibnall-blow-up-universe-series-13-newsupdate/
  21. Standard Halloween episode but that ending was something with the time jump, which I think is a mistake
  22. The executive producer talks about Episode 5’s surprise twist and what’s to come https://tvline.com/2021/10/19/the-resident-recap-season-5-episode-5-time-jump-explained/
