  1. I enjoyed the stories this episode. I had a feeling the donor guy had some medical issue, as his responses seemed off, like he wasn’t aware how he was coming across or couldn’t express himself properly. I feel sorry for the lady with lupus
  2. Weird that we are getting a repeat today. Was there a major preemption in some major parts of the country yesterday that I’m not aware of? Yesterday’s episode wasn’t interrupted for me (East Coast)
  3. Another sneak peek via TVLine and an interview with the producers on how the episode came together https://tvline.com/2021/10/06/united-states-of-al-season-2-premiere-afghanistan-crisis-video/
  4. Wow, I completely forgot they were in those storylines
  5. Per Cultbox, SFX Magazine has a short article on Series 13, describing it as "materialising soon" as well as "landing imminently". There are also 3 exclusive pictures in the magazine which Cultbox describes. SFX's November issue will be on the newstands Monday or you can buy a digital copy now https://cultbox.co.uk/news/headlines/doctor-who-series-13-is-landing-imminently
  6. Peta continues to be the MPV villain of this show. This was another fun episode and Peta killed it with super-empathy stuff Looks like William has found his spine
  7. Some reality show was supposed to be shown in November in SWAT's timeslot but that got canned due to protests (it was about a competition for activists but they were supposed to advance via social media engagement) so I don't know what they have planned in place of that
  8. Just an FYI, they are still filming the Centenary special; today they are apparently at The Gate Arts Centre
  9. It's dropping about 70% from its lead-in 9-1-1 though which can't be considered remotely good
  10. Per Deadline Azita Ghanizada has been upped to recurring. She plays Ariana, the first generation Afghan American who went up against Al last season in their divergent views of Afghanistan. The article describes her as Al's love interest
  11. Abishola’s furniture, especially the couch was horrible. Bob needs to at least let her know he doesn’t like something
  12. I was wishing the scene between Esme and Ryan continued from Friday. I guess they are going to make us wait on that
  13. Just to note, I didn't say what you were quoting, @peachmangosteen did
  14. The Good Father: The Martin MacNeil Story was pretty interesting, but man, when Tom Everett Scott started to show MacNeil’s true colors he really became creepy
  15. I do find it interesting that Elena doesn't quite have it all together like Mr. Rourke did. She found it difficult to say yes to the role and it's clear she's still finding her way, at least on an emotional level. It makes for an interesting update instead of rehashing Mr. Rourke as a powerful magic figure
  16. I have to add to the kudos about Friday's scenes with Spencer revealing the truth about being Ava's stalker. First, it happened sooner than I expected just as the show has done with other recent storylines. But the acting was well done, especially between the actors playing Spencer and Nik. Sonny was being a real jerk here (he should have realized Esme was playing him) but he managed to get secrets spilled. The kids were great all around
  17. For those who watch the BBC in the UK, there was reportedly a bit of a Who teaser shown a few minutes ago just before Strictly Come Dancing that was reportedly like a short glitchy mayday transmission from the Doctor. Keep an eye out for more folks! Here is the very short teaser:

  20. The bystander who tried to disrupt the arrest of the guy who acted up at the grocery store was an idiot for interfering, especially hitting the officer. Also, wasn’t the grocery store suspect the same guy who was the bus shooter? I’m a little confused about that Regarding Danny’s psychic friend, thinking about it, I don’t see how the sock of the child gave off any whiff of the biological father if, I think, they never met each other
  21. Pretty good episode. I liked Danny’s case and Frank’s clash with the mayor best. I hope Danny does get together with the psychic because I like their easy chemistry though his more logical approach clashes with her psychic stuff
  22. Note that it will be a 2 hour premiere from 8-10pm ET. Also, my DVR indicates one of the topics will be the first discovery of Covid in an animal in the US
  23. I’m starting to be amused every time the show resolves a big plot or has someone confess to something big long before I think it’s going to be resolved/confessed to. So I was happy and surprised to see Spencer confess that he and Esme were Ava’s stalkers and in front of enough witnesses. And he may need to worry about Sonny’s wrath for scaring Avery So, Esme. It appears she knows Ryan after all. Next week should be interesting
