  1. Premieres November 7 at 6:15pm on BBC1 and runs 59 minutes. It will be on BBC America at 8pm ET and runs to about 9:27pm ET Writer: Chris Chibnall Director: Jamie Magnus Stone
  2. Official trailer: https://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/watch/-four-seasons-total-documentary-official-trailer-124413509654
  3. Man, poor Monica had to come back in and detail the sex acts. At least Starr’s people decided to have a woman agent do the questioning in private, though recorded
  4. Boo on the grand jury for lecturing Monica at times, but cheers for them wanting to hear about the FBI’s treatment of her Yay on the grand jury for going hard on Linda and her self-justifications. You don’t keep suggesting someone continue an affair if you are worried about their mental and emotional health. It’s clear she stayed involved with Monica because she hated the Clintons and made it all about her
  5. Yes. It felt like she either knew because of experience or by hearing about it from someone else
  6. Really good episode and I wasn’t expecting that ending. Next week is the 2 part series finale and I’m a little sad to see the show end but it’s certainly had a pretty good run
  7. The press seems to summarize this as the BBC loses creative control of Doctor Who, but they own it, so they can’t lose control just because Davies demands it. I think it’s more likely that the BBC still retains overall creative control. BBC Studios probably will be the ones to step back from creative decisions and give that to Bad Wolf while continuing to distribute the show world wide and handling the merchandise and other things
  8. FYI in case you didn't know, those tunnels, called The Williamson Tunnels, exist in real life under Liverpool. The guy put returning soldiers and others to work, but no one knows for what purpose Williamson created the tunnels in the first place
  9. Official press release for next doc "Jagged" on Thursday, November 18 http://thefutoncritic.com/news/2021/11/02/hbo-documentary-films-music-box-series-continues-with-jagged-debuting-november-18-149214/20211102hbo02/ The press release included the other documentaries that will be shown on Thursdays through the end of the year: DMX: Don't Try to Understand, November 25 Listening to Kenny G, December 2 Mr. Saturday Night, December 9 Juice Wrld: Into the Abyss, December 16
  10. Keep an eye out for Dec 21. It appears Fox is showing some kind of Fantasy Island 2 hour presentation on that night according to The Futon Critic. Fox has not announced its holiday plans yet, so it isn't at all clear what it's about or whether it's for the current show or a nostalgia trip. Just a heads up for now
  11. We have not been introduced to the the Flux before The opening scene was simply, we are introduced to the middle of whatever was happening. You didn't miss anything before that. It was an "in media res" narrative technique where the story opens in the middle or end of an adventure, basically it showed us part of a Doctor and Yaz adventure I don't know if you heard why the season is only 6 episodes, but if you haven't, it's due to Covid. They decided they could only make 8 episodes this season instead of 11 in their normal 10 months time because Covid protocols cost money (they weren't getting a bigger budget) and slowed them down. So we are getting 6 episodes for a very serialized Series 13, plus 2 specials (one for New Year's Day and one in the Spring of next year), plus an additional special commissioned by the BBC to be shown in Fall (Autumn) of next year
  12. Intriguing theory on the Angels. I found it interesting that an Angel was included in the montage of people at the end, suggesting to the audience that we'll see it (and the others) again
  13. But Monica's mushrooms gave us that great Swan Lake dance vision I forget why Reggie is not currently medically cleared to play?
  14. FYI, Series 13: Flux will be available to purchase on Blu-ray, DVD and limited edition Steelbook on January 24, 2022 in the UK (via Amazon as one example). The US will probably have the season available a few weeks or couple of months later
  15. CC is absolutely the only way I can understand much of the accented dialogue in this show and it's particularly useful now with John, plus it helped to understand the end scenes in the Tardis because the dialogue was getting muffled by the music and other noise
  16. Episode 3's title has been revealed to be "Chapter Three: Once, Upon Time" It will be about 50 minutes in length and provisionally is set to start at 6:30pm on BBC1 on November 14 The synopsis: “Time is beginning to run wild”. On a planet that shouldn’t exist, in the aftermath of apocalypse, the Doctor, Dan, Yaz and Vinder face a battle to survive.
  17. The Division was mentioned last season, explicitly in the finale and obliquely in Fugitive of the Judoon. Some previous incarnations of the Doctor had worked for the Division, which was a secret Gallifrey organization that did jobs the Time Lords didn’t want to acknowledge. But they mindwiped the Doctor at various points so she doesn’t remember lives prior to the one played by Bill Hartnell
  18. Such fun, especially the dance off on the playground or wherever that location was set
  19. Pretty enjoyable. The group really made an effort on that prank on Calvin
  20. Episode 1 was #2 for Sunday night, behind the Strictly Come Dancing results show (UK TV) ETA: Actually, that may have been the actual show, not the results; I’m not sure
