Of course, this is a sitcom, so they had to have the kidnapping (chicken-napping?) part, but they should have just reported it. Seems to me that would be a noise nuisance. We would have gotten another chance to see Wayne Brady!

My brother-in-law used to be that way; if he got $300 he had to spend it on something "fun". He grew up dirt poor (he actually lived in a house with a dirt floor for a while). Debt is just something that's always there. Although, it seems that a lot of "not-poor" people have that way of thinking now. I accidentally opened my neighbor's credit card bill and almost fainted before I realized it wasn't mine.

I agree about Adam and Andy; that was seriously funny, and their timing was perfect. I don't think they are writing Andy out; his other sitcom was cancelled FAST. So I hope he comes back; he and Jill have great chemistry. I like Chef Rudy, and I like him together with Tammy, but I want to see more of Marjory and Wendy. I would love to see a "Wendy" episode!

Well, she's a writer and can't find a job writing, so she's taking what she can. But in the last couple episodes she's expressed an interest in moving into management and even found a mentor.

I about fell over laughing when Drew climbed that shelf. (He should have known better, but he was doped up. ) I didn't realize that he and Julia weren't officially divorced. I kinda hope they get back together; I like Sara Rue.

Oh, yeah, they used a stuntman for both Franklin's jumps and also when Katie flew off the trampoline (well, looked like a stuntwoman for that).

Because this is a character that people are interested in getting to know.

As far as adjusting to COVID broadcasting, I think he's done the best of the 3 talk shows I watch - this one, Colbert, and Seth Meyers. A bit of a different topic, which I haven't seen mentioned - Anyone know why they're calling it "The Daily Social Distancing Show"? Whenever he says "Welcome to the Daily Social Distancing Show" to his guests, they usually laugh like they weren't expecting that. Colbert's show did something similar - they now call it "A Late Show with Stephen Colbert" instead of "The Late Show...", but the names are still the same on my TV DVR menu.

I'm willing to hang with this show for a while. They are still finding their footing and establishing the premise and the main characters. I don't mind that they're taking their time. I just hope it doesn't turn into a "whacky adventure of the week" show.

Regarding the godparents: I can understand Becky not understanding the role of a Catholic godparent (nothing to do with "if we die"). And maybe the priest just assumed Ben and/or Darlene is Catholic (one of them needs to be). But I can't believe Emilio's tias were ok with Darlene and Ben being godparents. Didn't I see them at the baptism? That said, I thought it was understanding of Becky to let the baby be baptized. I mean, if she doesn't care, then what's the harm? And she admitted he is a good father. But I still cringe at him spending all that money on the party.

I thought it was appropriate for them to address the issue, and I think they did well with it. It was smart to let Gemma and Dave take a back seat to Calvin and his family. I was worried that as soon as Calvin took the brick from Malcolm the police would see him with the brick and arrest him. I'm glad they didn't go there; I much prefer the father-son hug. It's tough for a comedy to deal with real issues. Good job.

She had a rough skate. I don't think she fell, but she popped several jumps and no triple axel.

I did - basically each team had 3 men and 3 women competing, so we got to see 12 skates. All singles, long programs, I think all American skaters. I think Terry said they split $50,000 which isn't much, but it did give them an opportunity to compete in a low pressure environment. Oh, and Nathen landed a quad loop. Apparently he hadn't done that in some time. I'm not good at knowing the jumps by just watching them, but Tara and Johnny both whooped when that happened!

fyi for those who want to watch the new Mulan but balked at the $30 price from Disney Plus: The blu-ray is on sale now at Walmart for $25 and Redbox shows it on their site as available.

I recently finished binge watching the series (watched it instead of election coverage since I knew that would be a waste of time), and it's amazing how many topics in the show are relevant now.

A couple years ago there was one, called "The Cool Kids". It had a great cast - David Alan Grier, Martin Mull, Leslie Jordan, and Vicki Lawrence. I thought it was pretty good, but it only lasted a year. As far as the odds of Gina being a match, I don't know what they are, but I read somewhere that this show is based on a true story.

I watched this because it was on after another show I watch, and I didn't have high hopes, but it was growing on me. Those old people on the bus were adorable! I loved the actresses - Annaleigh Ashford (Gina), her friend, and Sara Rue (who looked great!). Drew might grow on me but his personality is overshadowed by Gina. I, too, am squicked out by the opening credits.

I liked the new pictures of the cast during the opening. I rewound and watched in slo-mo. I wish they had gotten a new picture for Tammy, though. I thought this was a good episode; they didn't dwell on Christy's absence and just dove into the story.

I have a "Up Late With Miss Piggy" coffee mug (Miss Piggy's show-in-a-show from the 2015 show "The Muppets"). I bought it off Amazon. That was a great show; it was a shame it only lasted 1 season. On a more esoteric note: I have a pair of scissors and a letter opener that was a Christmas present to the crew from the show "Bonanza". I got it from the grandson of the show's cinematographer, Haskell Boggs.

I always like weddings, and this was a cute one. I'm glad we'll be seeing more of Cooper.
