Yes it is verrry hot in the summer! Two years ago I road tripped there with my 10 yo son to meet my friend whose son is close in age and the boys are friends. She had a conference and a free room at the Bellagio. While she was at her conference I marched the boys down the strip mid afternoon to the Avengers Experience at Treasure Island. It’s about a 30-40 minute walk. It was about 110 degrees. I swear those boys acted like it was a death March! 😂 I don’t know about Jamaica but Mexico is definitely open so they totally could have gone to Cancun!

I have to FF through Danni and Don - her outrage at his asking for a prenup bugged me to no end. He should definitely get a prenup with this gold digger! And I don't think she told the lawyer the whole story there - she is definitely not working full time (in the office anyway) - what we saw was her leaving after lunch with his credit card to go spend more of his money. I think it would actually cost Don less money if she did actually work all day in the office at a normal salary as opposed to her taking off and shopping.... And can someone please explain why Katie moved to Vegas to be with that turd whose name I can't remember? What a shithead. He barely likes her let alone love her.... Bri better pipe down and start making Bill some dinner or she will soon be an un-retired hostess......... When Ericka and Rick seem like the most normal couple you know your show is bananas......

Is there a Couples Cam thread or do we just post about that here? That show is getting a little crowded with all of the successful couples. I would be happy if they retired Doug and Jamie at this point......

I actually think there are a lot of things to do there besides drink and gamble (during non-Covid times that is). We have even taken our kids there. Lots of shows, events and experiences that were fun for the kids in addition to the close proximity of Hoover Dam, although it was awkward walking down the strip with my 9 yo looking at half naked show girls and those nudie flyers on the ground, to say nothing of the pervasive stench of pot from all the people wandering the strip smoking it. 😜 I think there were many places they could have taken the honeymooners that would be better than Vegas, but I am wondering if the crew balked at leaving the country due to the pandemic? Although if you're already in an airport and on a plane who cares where it's going? You're already at increased risk of contracting Covid. Better to go somewhere cool at that point I say!

I'm trying to remember last summer, but I think Vegas was only partially open. I don't think every casino was open on the strip and the ones that were open had limited capacity. It will be interesting to see what it looks like next week. They could have sent them to a resort in Mexico - I know people who have gone there during the pandemic. That would have not looked so cheap and would have had better scenery as well as providing an appropriate honeymoon destination.......

I said this exactly a couple episodes ago when it was revealed that Ryan came from a religious background. I wonder what goes on with Clara though after hearing her stating that she "went to Bible college for a year" (what!) and then "quit school and never went back to church"? Huh? Her parents seem somewhat conservative and traditional too though so it seems she was raised with it but doesn't practice anymore. But I agree - this is a big issue and not something that can be compromised on in some cases depending on the person. Another great job from our "experts"! Nothing to add about how horrible Chris is but that chest comment earned a huge guffaw from both myself and my husband. I waited to see if he was joking, but no he was serious! Much like his erroneous comment about being the best looking in the room, he's not the fittest either! I think that goes to Ryan or Jacob. I also loved him listing all of his wonderful personality qualities: "I'm dope, smooth, charismatic".....sweet Jesus, this is the biggest asshole in the history of the show. Who talks like that????? I have secondhand embarrassment for Paige. Why oh why did she have sex with him? TWICE!!!!!! I might be wrong, but in the history of this show, I don't think there is a single couple who had sex on their wedding night who stayed married. I now wonder what is wrong with her that she felt this was the right call. It was not. I freaking love Eric. What a grown up. I liked that he just tackled his divorce baggage head on with no drama. Virginia looked 100 times better without that horrid eye shadow! Jake and Haley. Not gonna happen. He has a quiet sense of humor I quite like, but someone needs to tell Jake that nobody cares about his house.......... Briana and Vincent are the superstar couple this season. So sweet. And thank God, because it's going to be the Chris Williams Train Wreck Show from here on out otherwise........ I know this was filmed during the pandemic, but Vegas? What is this - Season 2????? Vegas is so low rent!

I don't think this has anything to do with changing his personality on camera. It was no secret he was engaged literally weeks before applying for this show and they STILL cast him even though that fact alone should have taken him out of the running. There is absolutely zero excuse the "experts" can give for casting this asshole, and they owe Paige a major apology plus a do over or an annulment or both!

I'm not sure I would put Clara in the same class as Christina. The only similarity so far is that they were pissy before the ceremony and unhappy about some aspect of their attire. But other than that, she seems pretty fun and unpretentious. Shoot, she even went along with the dumb blindfold - can you imagine Christina doing that???? I don't think so.....Also, she clearly likes her groom, whereas Christina did not.

This is how I remember this story going too, but I feel artistic changes have been made to incorporate Tristan into the story more. It also seems they are combining multiple stories into each episode, in this case Tricki Woo and Clancy. This show is different than the books, but I still like it, and I am enjoying the actors playing these characters this go around.

I am waaaayyy late to this party, but what the hell happened to this show? It is unrecognizable from season 1. I've seen people compare it to The Matrix. My first thought was a crappy Blade Runner. Maybe if The Matrix and Blade Runner had a dumb baby it would be this show. This is not the show I signed up to watch. And I cannot stand that at this point everyone is a host, and they are all Dolores. Just no. I think it's the end for me. We lost HBO when we changed streaming services so we missed this season, and I was so excited to have access through my AT&T for now so I could watch this. Not so much now that it's the Dolores Show. Call me crazy, but I miss the murder park.......

I didn't read through any of the comments, so apologies if someone already addressed this, but my (limited) understanding is that SWORD is for dealing with aliens, correct? Why are they dealing with this situation and not SHIELD? Wouldn't this be something they would be involved with? I admittedly am not well versed in the MCU, and I didn't really watch SHIELD, but my husband did and I saw some of it sporadically. Wouldn't what's happening here fall under their purview? As a casual Marvel viewer I am still on the fence if this show is for me. I understand what's happening even if these characters are new to me (I do know Darcy since I did see the Thor movies), but I am just not finding this very compelling.

You are probably right about them wanting to highlight how "old" he is, but the reality is that Jacob is honestly too young to really remember the 1980's - he was born in 1982 if he was 38 in 2020. I was born in 1972 and what I remember about the 1970's is not much since I was only in 2nd grade when the decade ended. He would be in the same situation, just a decade later......

I totally agree! I thought Brianna's bouquet was absolutely gorgeous! Ok, but how can you not laugh at a trapped AMH screaming JAAAAAKEEEE!!!! from beneath the glass coffee table? Especially fitting given our 1980's lover this season! ; p

I totally understand! I have been fascinated reading everyone's take on their experience living through the 1980's, I just think it's not fair to him to put that on him when he probably doesn't actually care about the decade as a whole, just the content that was created in it. I agree with whoever said that people who were kids then probably have a more positive feeling about it, and I guess that's me too as I basically grew up during that decade (I graduated from high school in 1990). I guess we will have to see just how into the 1980's Jake is, or if production just latched onto that and it's become his "story line".

Here’s the thing: When Jacob says he into the 80’s I’m pretty sure he is just referring to the pop culture aspect - music and movies. He’s not talking about trying to live like it’s the 80’s. I’m kind of baffled that people are so put off by this. It’s not that uncommon.

I know I'm coming to this late, but we just finished this last week, and omg yes on the Ken Cosgrove thing! I finished the whole series and still don't know which astronaut he was. He'll always be Ken Cosgrove! And for me, it's still weird to see Colin O'Donoghue without guyliner and a hook hand. I think I prefer him as Captain Hook than here where he's just so bland.......

Me too. Every post is the same thing - her in her underwear. Plus she reposts the same pictures over and over. It's boring. I feel the same. She's doing it more for the validation from strangers and it's very attention seeking when she's half naked in all these photos. As far as the houses, she also acts like she's being so frugal all the time, but it's a little hard to swallow when I know she now owns two houses they live between.

Sadly, I feel we have been subjected to that as well - lots of nursing in her undies since Hendrix arrived.......

Well, to be fair, Jamie was younger and thinner when she was a participant on Season 1. But now that she is, shall we say, a little plumper post-baby birthing, and with her "frans" lapping up all of her "love yourself at any size" messaging now, I don't think she has any motivation to get back to her fighting weight.....

My sister watches this show but never Unfiltered and last week we were talking about it and she said she saw her that last few minutes before the end of Unfiltered and her only comment was “why is Jamie wearing shoes that are a decade out of style?” 😂

I’m glad! She is pretty damaged by her parents divorce too, so maybe that also factored into her desire to not get divorced. I hope we get to see her interacting a little more with her new mother in law bc that lady did not look too happy with her new lush daughter in law at the wedding!

Agree! She is still young but for some reason her "on camera" looks are always a miss. She bought this season's look herself as she was on instagram bragging about it. I don't know who chose that hairstyle - it's too ridiculously formal, and the shoes pain me because they are not current and make the look even more dated. I just don't get any of it. I think I even prefer the shorts romper she wore a few seasons ago that made her look like she wasn't wearing pants! This whole look is very dated and old.

I gotta say I am shocked about Erik and Virginia. Maybe she reins in the drinking? Or they might be ones that say yes on decision day and are split by the reunion? Either way, that's pretty good considering before the season started I thought it looked like a train wreck. That's the same success rate as last season which was my favorite!
