So true! As soon as they showed that bird, I said to my husband “he’s so going to kill that poor bird.” Maybe that drawing was supposed to make us somewhat sympathetic towards Miles, but that kid is creepy as all get out. And why on earth would she allow hide and seek after being locked in a closet the day before? Why not just say “Hey! Let’s play Candyland!” And I hate to say it, but look in any clothing store right now and you can find similar pants - light wash, high waisted with pleats. The 80’s fashion has returned to haunt us in 2020.

I guess it depends on how you interpret it......also, I don’t think she needs a mask to ride her bicycle by herself. I do not wear a mask when I am outside in a place that I can socially distance. When I am at work or in any building the first thing I do when I exit and get away from people is remove my mask.

Thank you for this. I live in a suburban neighborhood and I never saw so many people out walking with their families and dogs as in the early days of lockdown. I took many walks with my kids and dog because that was all there was to do! I am dumbfounded by the criticism of a woman alone on a bicycle! This is exactly what people were told was approved activity. And shame on her for being happy? I say good for her keeping her sanity and spirits up during a sad and frightening time.

Can someone please explain why they need to explode confetti at the end of every freaking dance? It’s so stupid! It kind of loses the wow factor when they do it every single time..... Tyra continues to look completely ridiculous, only this time Carrie Ann joined in. WTF??? I am having trouble distinguishing between Chrishell, Kaitlyn and Monica. They all just kind of blend together for me. I guess I like Kaitlyn better because I like Artem? My favorites were Justina, Nelly and Jeannie. I liked Nev too but that quickstep was verging on frantic for me. That song has a fast tempo but it seemed even faster than the original. I thought the all the clothes, makeup and hair was over the top insane. They all looked like they were wearing Halloween costumes if you were going dressed up in an 80’s theme. Vernon deserved to be saved out of pity for being forced into that horrible wig.

Agree 100%! I know this has been nightmarish for many people, especially those who have been sick, or have lost loved ones, or for those living in areas that were really hard hit by this. I don’t diminish that at all. Starting in April I was furloughed for three and a half months and I called it my Coronacation. I have not been off that long since I have been an adult - even my maternity leave with both my kids was only three months! I guess it’s just being thankful for the good things you have rather than focusing on the bad. I think Amelia is just a joyful person naturally, and also someone who writes music and sings. I didn’t get the impression she was happy Bourbon Street was empty, just showing that it was.

Huh? How is it selfish that she was biking down Bourbon Street singing? That just seems like her normal personality. Should people just walk around miserable all the time? I thought she was just commenting on how empty it was. People are allowed to go outside - I didn't see anything selfish about what Amelia said or did. As far as Amani saying she was happy Covid happened, I am giving her a pass. I don't think she meant that she is happy the people are sick and dying. I think she meant that being in quarantine allowed them more time to get to know each other. It just wasn't the best way to express that, obviously.

@Silver Bells CONGRATULATIONS! That is amazing! In this day and age where marriage is so disposable that is something to be proud of. Being married takes so much hard work - I admire people that can work together and make it last! ❤️

Sigh. Shouldn't have brought this back up, but here goes: Dave actually said yes on Decision Day. They stayed together, and one day he came home and SHE had moved all of her stuff out. He was still in it. I don't want to get into it again because there is already a thread for their season, but I kind of feel like people forget he stayed and she left him. Okay - back to the current group.......

I am sure the experts bullshit will involve leaving the failure at Brett's feet and telling poor Olivia that she will find someone wonderful in the future. We will never hear them say they fucked up by matching two people who have absolutely nothing in common except a couple cats. Or rather, the producers did since I'm pretty sure they pick these people and the experts just pretend to do it.......

It's the fact that they are showing everybody in this cast including one of the experts bagging on him. We've seen Miles call him an asshole, Christina called him a fuckboi, and Henry has not wasted a single opportunity to say how he dislikes him. Plus, Olivia has been on Unfiltered multiple times playing the victim with everyone supporting her and side eyeing him. It's a ridiculous amount of piling on. Last week showed the conversation with Pastor Cal where she calls him out for his being disingenuous on camera but they cut it off before the part where she says he's actually a nice guy off camera. Meanwhile, crickets from Brett. Is he sarcastic and smarmy? Yes. But I don't think he's quite the villain that they have made him out to be, nor is she some woman done wrong in the vein of Kate, or Amber or Mindy...... As far as making himself likeable, I don't think he gives a shit about that, especially knowing the show matched him with a totally unsuitable woman.......Frankly, I like that he went home. It's ridiculous watching Henry and Christina lying about whether they should stay together. The audience isn't that stupid. The real story is that THESE TWO SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN MATCHED! But of course they are never going to admit that, and he left before they were done with him, so hey, he's an easy target for production to spin into the villain role....... I get why people dislike him, I really do. I just resent the spin and Olivia not being called to account for her behavior. Or maybe it's just me - everyone hated Dave and I liked him, so there's that too 😜

And I think the show did everything in their power to make you think he is an asshole, including showing other cast members stating exactly that. This is my beef as well - thank you for stating this! I totally agree about the other couples chiming in on them. Unfiltered has enraged me this season. It seems like it exists to pretty much to dump on Brett at every turn, including Pastor Cal! And I am pretty sure they are dumping on him hard because he stood up for himself and pulled the plug and left. This is payback for not finishing filming even though he stayed as long as he was obligated to do so. Just no.

I'm pretty sure the spouse guessing game was also producer induced "fun" as well - notice everyone asking questions standing with their phones - probably looking at a text or email from one of the producers telling them the questions to ask.......

I don't think Brett is some wonderful specimen, but I cannot stand the manipulated editing to make him be the bad guy and Olivia gets a total pass. It pisses me off and makes me support him more. She is no prize either. She did nothing but lecture him and pull away when he offered affection. She even said he was NICER when the cameras were gone and described him as a "nice guy"! So who is the one not really ready for marriage? She was no more willing to compromise on what she wanted in life than he was. The reality is that these two were not compatible and should never have been matched. But the show has made HIM be the reason it failed which bugs me to no end.

I have grown weary of hearing these two talk this thing to death. She does not seem into him at all. They know a lot about each other, but if she can’t warm up after four months, including TWO MONTHS OF QUARANTINE, it’s time to walk away....

Bennett FTW this episode! Watching him do “the worm” in his yellow dress was everything. Still laughing. 😂 Also, his Pokémon letter to himself! As a person with two kids who were heavy into Pokémon for few years, hearing him wax poetic over a Charizard card made me laugh.....

Wow. It’s another episode of Unfiltered so I guess it’s time to bag on Brett again. Oh, poor poor Olivia! She gave so much to this relationship- not! He had every right to leave - if not for the pandemic, their marriage would have been over anyway! She isn’t invested in Brett so much as the idea of marriage and that is even a stretch considering she was no more interested in compromising than he was. Why is she not being called to account for HER behavior and what she did to contribute to the demise of the marriage? It takes two, lady! Only because Brett would rather peace out than get into it. Grrrr, I’m so annoyed! Why do I care about this stupid show??? 😂

There are absolutely straight men who care about fashion and shoes - my ex boyfriend was one before the term metro sexual was invented. I do not see any upside for Henry to come on this show to deceive and marry a stranger wife if he is a gay man. Why would anybody do that in 2020? Nobody needs a beard in this day and age, plus Henry's gaggle of girlfriends don't seem the sorts who would care, and his father already has little to no respect for him anyway.......Also, for all of his oddities, Henry does seem like a generally nice guy, and doing this would be a pretty cruel thing to do to a woman who came into this in good faith to be married, which for all HER faults, I think Christina did........

I don't feel too sorry for any of these people. They are all kind of terrible and deserve what they get - a low rent tv show showing them in all of their stupidity..........

Maybe he should team up with Chris Digangi and they should come up with some schtick to get more attention.........

This!!!! Why oh why did they not hire one of the past winners or popular competitors??? They obviously understood that when they hired both Brooke Burke and then Erin Andrews! That would have at least felt comfortable for the viewing audience and would have made Tom leaving a less bitter pill to swallow. The same with bringing back Derek to replace Len. Choosing her just feels like it came out of left field. So much about this season already felt different - this is one change too many, and then to add insult to injury she is just terrible at it.........

No it is not. My husband and I high-fived each other. He is so smug and cocky. I can't stand him. I think it was mentioned when they ran in the qualifiers. I am also anti-Bergie anything......... I was so bummed Alyssa Beird fell! I would have liked to see her over Sandy Zimmerman because in case you missed it, she's a mom - did you know that? Moms! Moms! Moms! Also, did James The Beast McGrath compete this year or was he just in the cheering section for Alyssa? And since I'm being cranky, can I just say that it's so annoying to me that Joe M. is frequently treated like a second class Ninja rather than one of the elites. Why in the promo for next week was he not highlighted? He has accomplished more than just about anyone other than the pedophile! He's been last man standing multiple years, he is consistently hitting buzzers and always makes the finals. Just this year in the qualifier he had the fastest (or second fastest, can't remember) time and beat the Mega Wall AND Power Tower, but no - "coming up next week, The Phoenix Najee Richardson!" What does The Weatherman have to do to get some respect!??!!!

This is, without a doubt, the grossest thing anyone has said on this show. I couldn't care less about shoes on in the house and on the bed or the inside/outside clothes debate, but the one square got me. Without being gross, how the hell do you get clean after the business? I really hope he has a bidet or something, although then that would be wasting water instead. Also horrible, visualizing Bennett taking a crap in his yellow dress and trying to verrrrry carefully wipe (shudder)..........

I think Noni sees herself as some kind of alternative chick - she was young in the 1990's when that would have been popular and even though she has grown older she is still trying to keep that punk sensibility - see her current grungy boy toy.......

In a regular year he would have made it. It's just so hard when they are only taking the top 12.......
