  1. I think this is exactly what he wanted. Plus he had about 3 years with it just being him and Meri, he could have changed his mind, which would have sent Meri over the moon. I think he thought it would be easy. I watch the National Geographic series about Centennial Park. Even in this group of polygamists, they admit that polygamy is hard and it is not for everybody and they know not every member will choose to live plural life. That you have to be dedicated and committed to it. But that being said, husbands have to devote equal time to each family if they are not living in one house. Otherwise it's not going to work.
  2. Christine has said she is not leaving the show, she just left Kody. I think the same might be true if Janelle leaves, she will still be on the show because they all have kids together, even if most of them are grown. Agree. This is what people wanted to see. I will admit the first few seasons had me thinking it was working, but the longer the show went on the more I questioned it. Now they are admitting to all the problems which the public already knew. I think they are telling them, you guys are really going to have to step up your game to keep this show on the air. Even if all the 3 wives left, I want some honest dishing. How they really felt about Robyn joining the family, what has really been happening. I think that is true with most of the polygamist families we have seen on TV. Both Brady Williams and Joe Darger, have bold personalities, next to their mostly quiet wives.
  3. I'm beginning to think that TLC told them we need something for the people to really talk about. You are going to have to make it really interesting this season or we will drop your show. Why would you allow yourself and your wife to look so bad to the viewing public. Then again I believe that this family only gets together for filming, with the exception of Janelle and Christine.
  4. My daughter first went there in 2013-2014 with a church group. Not LDS. But that same attitude is still there. Some of the clothes she had for church, the women called her out on. So she had to go to the local Walmart to get a few different things to wear. She said it all fell in the modest range. No low cut shirts not much sleeveless, longer shorts and a lot of 3/4 length sleeves, mid calf skirts and dresses.
  5. I don't think he is taking his anger out on Robyn, he's probably angry and frustrated by the situation and is probably just venting to Robyn. He's upset because Christine refused to remain in a loveless, lonely situation like Meri did. He's probably more made at himself and waited to long to do anything about it. 6. Janelle explained that both Christine and Robyn got the same amount of money from the family pot, for the down payment on their homes and they were not expected to pay that back.
  7. One I've seen people with large families buy. Tomato powder. Yes there is a stockpile, but once you use up a few of them you replace the ones you used. I can't remember what family I was reading about, but yes they had enough shelf stable food to feed their family of 4 for an entire year. Also water and basic items like, shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper, etc.
  8. You have to realize that they use these items all the time. So they just rotate it through regular use. Christine was probably buying large amounts of flour, sugar and basics that they eat all the time.
  9. I know Savannah would have never said it, but I would have looked at them and said. Well maybe if ya'll weren't living in a million dollar house, my dad could afford to help my mom get a place to live. As it is he is supporting three grown adults, who should be out of the house. According to him anyone who is graduated from high school should be on their own. Like the rest of the Brown kids.
  10. Both Janelle and Kody grew up in the Mormon church. Yes they have large central storage and encourage church member to buy the long term storage food from the church. Even the Swedish government encourages the citizens to have at least 3-6 months of food, in case of a disaster.
  11. Just a question. Do you take fish oil? I've read that it can cause nose bleeds if you have to take a higher dose. Plus in the winter time the dry air seems to bother my nose.
  12. I feel like for some time, that Kody has been a one woman man. I believe they are all just sticking around for the show and the money that comes along with it. Plus the boost that it gives to their side gigs.
  13. I watch a few traveling YouTubers. Most try to avoid traveling from dusk to dawn, in order to avoid hitting animals. Pretty much anywhere there is wildlife. We don't have much where I live, but if I travel 1-2 hours in any direction yes they are around.
  14. I remember seeing pictures online where she had those large industrial size totes, filled with water. The most common sizes are 275-33- gallons but you can get some that are up to 550 gallons. I think she had two of them. But the average person uses around 80 gallons of water every day. They might have cut back on their usage, considering it had to be delivered often.
  15. I am trying to figure out what type of dancing it is that he is ""trying"" to do.
  16. Same here. I have a pretty large one on my left foot. For years I drove my dad's standard pick up and you need a lot of force to push the clutch in. That is the one thing I can think of that caused it. It never hurts unless I bump it. But it's heck trying to find a shoes that fits, without being to tight.
  17. What's even sadder is she never really noticed her father not coming around that much. Like it was normal to her. While the oldest children growing up probably saw their father a lot more, than the middles or young ones have.
  18. I think someone said that Kody also deals in used vehicles. Pretty much anyone out west that doesn't live near a city has to have water delivered. On the several vacations I have taken to New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, I have seen water delivery trucks and you can often see storage tanks near houses. I guess some people cant afford to have them buried in the ground.
  19. It's just right down the road from Robyn and Christine wasn't far away either.
  20. It could be the RV storage has covered parking which is what you really want to keep the elements off of it. It protects the outside from degrading. It also needs air flow to keep it dry. Not that flagstaff has that much humidity. I feel like she should have went with something smaller that she is able to drive without a huge dually that drinks gas like crazy. You get like 15 miles to the gallon. Plus if it's windy they can be hard to control.
  21. Kody was gone from home when his dad married his second wife. Just from the little he has said he didn't have the best relationship with his dad. I think Sheryl, Janelle's mom was the favorite wife. She was the last wife. Again, from what was said on the show.
  22. I think it really depended on where Dayton was going to school. At one point Kody had said he had 4 homes picked out, one for each wife in St. George. He is making these plans without telling any of his wives.
  23. Maybe not on the show. But I remember seeing social media photos from Christine's kids, when they would visit her mothers family, I think they had like a family reunion every year and/or went on vacation together.
  24. Agree. Some people might put in a concrete pad. But when someone is living in it on a build site, they usually just do the level and cover with gravel , like you said. Then few people I know who own one, have a concrete pad, because they store it on their property.
