  1. True. I was very light blonde and it slowly changed to dark blonde/light brown. As a 12 year old.
  2. That is still not her natural color but it looks much better than the black she had. Her natural color is blonde. Or closer to Aspyn's hair color. But I believe she was blonde in the first few episodes.
  3. I don't think she bought anything. She talked about how before the marriage she wasn't so sure about Robyn. But by then it was too late. Agree. You could tell he was really in love with her. Not sure if she loves him as much as he loves her.
  4. Agree. I grew up in a house that was termed a gingerbread house, for it's ornate trim on the outside. It was considered a Victorian house, two story. It was large, both floors probably having close to 1,600 sq ft. When my dad bought it you could tell it had been altered several times. When we moved in it had 3 bathrooms, two down stairs and a tiny one upstairs that was put in what was probably a closet, it had a tiny claw foot tub, a sink and toilet, also small. The two bathrooms down stairs my dad remodeled to be more modern, removing the claw tubs and pedestal sinks. At one time the house had been sectioned off so that the front room, was used as a rental, it had an entrance on the other side of the circular front porch. I really miss that house, but it was cold in the winter and hot in the summer, My dad lowered the ceilings in the house but it didn't help much. It was so old that it still had the transoms above the doors which still worked.
  5. I remember being in school and one year a girl moved here from Connecticut, she had a distinct accent. But she would roll with laughter when I talked. Even after she moved back in high school and I would write to her, she would still laugh as she said I wrote with a Texas accent, she said she would read it to her friends and they would laugh too. When she first moved here, she had a really hard time understanding some of us. She often asked me to repeat myself and explain what I meant. Like fixin' to, is about to do something. Mighta could, means maybe. But mostly it was rolling a lot of words together. She said at first she thought some of us were speaking a different language. I was raised around the DFW area, in a slightly rural town/city. I really try to say my words properly, but yes at times I really listen to myself and realize how hick I can sound. I'm sure I can sound as funny as the Browns do with some of their pronunciations. This is one of those things that has always interested me is regional accents.
  6. I think he went on a summer trip camping Not sure how long it was for.
  7. Well when she left him she moved to St. George, which is almost a 12 hour drive. Then Las Vegas was a 13 hour drive. Kind of hard to have any visitation when your kids live that far away. I think they were too much alike to get along. Was a doomed relationship from the start.
  8. I watched a lot of this man's videos. Very eye opening.
  9. Same here. My dad finally told me one day, most people don't really care about what you have to say. Learn to listen and you don't always have to respond to what is said. He wasn't being mean, he was just trying to give me some of those life skills you need. Yes at times in our life we all feel like we know everything.
  10. Agree, the last time I had a medical procedure/minor surgery. You have a pre-op with all your blood work, EKG and possibly x-ray. You also stop to talk to the people that have already taken all your insurance information. They let you know if it has been approved by your insurance and this is how much you are going to have to pay. They should tell you if they are not approved before it is scheduled. By the time I thought about getting a breast reduction, in my 40's, the insurance said that it was not causing me any major health issues. Doubtful it's giving much trouble to a young health person like Gwen. Mine were probably the same size as hers, my daughters are probably larger. One of my coworkers was able to get hers reduced before the insurance starting denying this surgery. I feel like the people who deny this surgery, should have to carry around the weight for months and maybe they would change their views.
  11. Just fixed me some fried eggs from an 18 pack that was dated 12/26/22. I think I paid $5 for them. They are still good. Was reading on another site that someone was complaining about the cost of a dozen eggs they were $7. Their family eats a dozen every day, 🤯 Well that's over $210 a month. I think I would find a cheaper option for breakfast every day. Plus no one needs to be eating eggs everyday.
  12. I don't know about that. But I remember someone saying that the husband doesn't have to call them. I guess if they haven't been a good sister wife.
  13. None of them have been unsealed. So technically he would still have his planet if he choose to call them through the veil.
  14. I think Christine did the best she could in a situation that was never going to get better. I think she finally realized that and that's when Janelle told her you have to have a way to support yourself if you are leaving. I don't think she got everyone over to her side. I think they all saw how the moms were being treated before they even left home. Not saying Christine doesn't have faults, we all do. But all three of the original families didn't stand a chance once Kody fell in love with Robyn.
  15. True. I just went to Walmart Saturday, 1 dz eggs were $3.39, I just checked online and they are now $5.23. There has for the past few months, been a wild up and down on the prices. 3 weeks ago I bought an 18 pack of the store brand cage free eggs for $5.19.
  16. I think fraternal, but you could tell they were brothers.
  17. I think her reasoning was well if that's the case, there is no reason for me to stay. Because I need more than that in life.
  18. Agree. But that should be on Kody. He and only he was the one who let his relationships with everyone take a backseat to Robyn and her children.
  19. True. Some people don't deal with it as good as others. As a single parent I often went to work being sick, very sick with the flu. Didn't have any choice as there were no paid sick days. I will have to admit that covid wasn't that bad on me, except I was short of breath for several months after and was tired. But while I had it, I was not to bad. I've been worse with the flu before.
  20. Christine and Janelle are still going to be on the show. I think they all make the show.
  21. I'm glad I never have company stay over for that reason. I still have a few bottles of leftover wines in the fridge. But I been battling a cough for over a month now and taking medicine. So it's best I don't drink right now. 🤕
  22. I don't really want a revenge show, but I would like this show before it ends, to get some real dirt on what went wrong. I think a lot of things happened that they haven't said. Then again maybe they don't want everything public.
  23. Despite the fact we have footage of him pushing them away, spending most of his time with other family members, telling Christine he doesn't love her and never did, not properly seeing to the needs of his underage kids, leaving it to their mom's to do. Not making sure Janelle had a decent place to live with a child still at home. With holding love and affection. Saying he's pissed because men leave polygamy because they don't feel loved by their wives. That has to be the biggest one. The dufus can't see that everyone of these women love/loved him, more than they are willing to admit. The fact that they stuck around as long as they did speaks volumes.
