  1. I read somewhere that it was ambulance or fire truck siren and not police. They say that there is a difference. Guess I never noticed.
  2. I agree, my dad was one of 10 kids and he was about 4-5 years old during WW2. They were poor and didn't have much. Nothing was ever wasted. As a single mother myself, I learned to do with what I had. Even if it meant off brand quick oats for breakfast every day, cheap peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch every day, and pinto beans and rice for supper. I can feed myself healthy on about $20-30 a week. So I know other people can do it to. But I do understand there are people who need outside help.
  3. Do you think that is more Robyn wanting to move closer to her family? That is where her mom and stepdad live. I think it is 7 years.
  4. True. Not sure what message board i read it on, or if it's even true. That Robyn left with her kids and went back to her mom's, in order to get Kody to marry her.
  5. Something tells me that Meri got more than her fair share of the family money over the years. The episode where her and Mariah were setting up Christmas decorations, she had enough stuff she could open a Christmas store. Then there was the episode that they were eating out and deciding if they were going to put money down on the lots. And Meri said yes, but they need to discuss this alone. Then in a talking heads, Meri looks at Janelle and says " I'm sorry if you think I took something that you thought belonged to you, or something like that. Janelle said I didn't say it was mine, but just that money was tight and she was renting a house in a much nicer neighborhood than the other wives. As it was Kody and Janelle both had to cash in their retirement funds and had just a small amount of money to get into the rental homes.
  6. I thought each purchase had to be documented on video?
  7. I would assume that some of these kids are working. Lets hope that they are keeping liability on their own car. I know my parents told us if we wanted to drive we would have to pay our own insurance and upkeep on the car and gas. Then again I started working in junior high school.
  8. When my daughter was in college, she said some kids would come to school looking like they had just rolled out of bed and put on a jacket and shoes. Still in their Pajamas. But some of them were full time students and also worked full time jobs to help pay for school. My daughter eventually dropped out because she didn't have the time to work and go to school full time.
  9. True. Every time they print something it never turns out to be true. If it was, Robyn would have 13 kids by now. And Kody would be a single man as all his wives would have left. Or because he married 2 younger women.
  10. My niece is an RN, but she is in the process of getting her Bachelors degree. She said that you can't be in any type of supervisory position unless you have it. We live in an area with a large amount of hospitals/doctors within a 60 mile radius, she has never had much trouble finding a job. She is slowly working her way toward a NP. She said that the last year of her nursing school was grueling and was lucky to have her mom, dad and husband to care for their son. She even had to quit her job. She said you have so much studying that you can't hold a job at the same time. Good luck on finding something.
