Meri Brown and her Wet Bar of Tears

I watched a lot of this man's videos. Very eye opening. -

Same here. My dad finally told me one day, most people don't really care about what you have to say. Learn to listen and you don't always have to respond to what is said. He wasn't being mean, he was just trying to give me some of those life skills you need. Yes at times in our life we all feel like we know everything. -
Agree, the last time I had a medical procedure/minor surgery. You have a pre-op with all your blood work, EKG and possibly x-ray. You also stop to talk to the people that have already taken all your insurance information. They let you know if it has been approved by your insurance and this is how much you are going to have to pay. They should tell you if they are not approved before it is scheduled. By the time I thought about getting a breast reduction, in my 40's, the insurance said that it was not causing me any major health issues. Doubtful it's giving much trouble to a young health person like Gwen. Mine were probably the same size as hers, my daughters are probably larger. One of my coworkers was able to get hers reduced before the insurance starting denying this surgery. I feel like the people who deny this surgery, should have to carry around the weight for months and maybe they would change their views.

Small Talk: The Polygamous Cul-de-Sac
Pickleinthemiddle replied to Abra Came's topic in Sister Wives
Just fixed me some fried eggs from an 18 pack that was dated 12/26/22. I think I paid $5 for them. They are still good. Was reading on another site that someone was complaining about the cost of a dozen eggs they were $7. Their family eats a dozen every day, 🤯 Well that's over $210 a month. I think I would find a cheaper option for breakfast every day. Plus no one needs to be eating eggs everyday. -

I don't know about that. But I remember someone saying that the husband doesn't have to call them. I guess if they haven't been a good sister wife. -

None of them have been unsealed. So technically he would still have his planet if he choose to call them through the veil. -
Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore
Pickleinthemiddle replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
I think Christine did the best she could in a situation that was never going to get better. I think she finally realized that and that's when Janelle told her you have to have a way to support yourself if you are leaving. I don't think she got everyone over to her side. I think they all saw how the moms were being treated before they even left home. Not saying Christine doesn't have faults, we all do. But all three of the original families didn't stand a chance once Kody fell in love with Robyn. -
Small Talk: The Polygamous Cul-de-Sac

True. I just went to Walmart Saturday, 1 dz eggs were $3.39, I just checked online and they are now $5.23. There has for the past few months, been a wild up and down on the prices. 3 weeks ago I bought an 18 pack of the store brand cage free eggs for $5.19. -
I think fraternal, but you could tell they were brothers.

I think her reasoning was well if that's the case, there is no reason for me to stay. Because I need more than that in life. -

Agree. But that should be on Kody. He and only he was the one who let his relationships with everyone take a backseat to Robyn and her children. -
True. Some people don't deal with it as good as others. As a single parent I often went to work being sick, very sick with the flu. Didn't have any choice as there were no paid sick days. I will have to admit that covid wasn't that bad on me, except I was short of breath for several months after and was tired. But while I had it, I was not to bad. I've been worse with the flu before.

Christine and Janelle are still going to be on the show. I think they all make the show. -
I'm glad I never have company stay over for that reason. I still have a few bottles of leftover wines in the fridge. But I been battling a cough for over a month now and taking medicine. So it's best I don't drink right now. 🤕

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
Pickleinthemiddle replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
I don't really want a revenge show, but I would like this show before it ends, to get some real dirt on what went wrong. I think a lot of things happened that they haven't said. Then again maybe they don't want everything public. -

Despite the fact we have footage of him pushing them away, spending most of his time with other family members, telling Christine he doesn't love her and never did, not properly seeing to the needs of his underage kids, leaving it to their mom's to do. Not making sure Janelle had a decent place to live with a child still at home. With holding love and affection. Saying he's pissed because men leave polygamy because they don't feel loved by their wives. That has to be the biggest one. The dufus can't see that everyone of these women love/loved him, more than they are willing to admit. The fact that they stuck around as long as they did speaks volumes. -
Kody Brown: The Man Who Survived a KNIFE to the KIDNEYS!
Pickleinthemiddle replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
This and I think the producers wanted some real ratings kickers. Sometimes I feel like Kody walks off camera after his first rant with Christine, because he was afraid of laughing on camera, which they could have edited out. It looks like it has been rehearsed. Agree, I believe he wants the public to think they are leaving him, when in fact he has left all of his three original wives years ago. -
At my job regarding the pandemic, unless your temperature was over 100.1. You were not considered to have a fever. Because we had to check it daily.

My great aunts youngest daughter, maybe 10-12 years older than me, had triplets at 42. Don't know of any other multiple births on that side of the family. She wasn't using any fertility drugs. Just natural. I find it all interesting too.

Same with Leon and Audrey, they have been together since college. Hopefully Gwen and Beatriz will have a long engagement, time to get to know each other.

I could be wrong but I think Robyn's original family was LDS. For sure the Sullivan's were before taking a second wife. -
Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
Pickleinthemiddle replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Well we know for sure some of Janelle's kids enjoy alcohol. Nothing wrong with that. Several have lived together before marriage, nothing wrong with that either. With the exception of a few of the children. I think that most of the siblings are okay with Leon and Gwen. I'm from the C o C. The church teaches that homosexuality is wrong, so are the two other items alcohol and living together before marriage. So why are some of the siblings accepting of those other two issues, as far as the bible is concerned they are all a sin. By the way I haven't attended church in decades, so I don't hold these views. But we have several members who went to the pastor asking their advice because they have children who are gay and were getting married and felt conflicted about attending the wedding. The pastor stated first and foremost they are you children and you love them, that is all that should matter to you, they know your views on the issue and just want you to be there for their big day. So you attend and be happy for your child. Concerning being gay, that is between your child and the Lord.
