  1. Same here. I've been wearing the same pair since 2017. I bought a pair last year. But the don't feel comfortable on my face. I need to go and get some more.
  2. I've watched a lot of his videos. Very eye opening. He pretty much said he didn't attend school and was allowed to go outside and play everyday. Until they were old enough to be working in the bakery.
  3. Wow!!!! She will have her hands full. But at least she has her mom there to help.
  4. I would imagine more than anything, it's not having the money to go get a really nice dress. Then having the money to have it altered to fit you properly. I'm the same way. Hard to find something that fits and looks good without altering. Be glad if you can buy right off the rack and it looks great on you. Plus not many of us would wear it more than once a year.
  5. Well with the exception of Christine. The other women are still what I would call modest. Janelle had on a short sleeve shirt and capri pant's. Hardly what I would call immodest. Even Meri and her sleeveless shirts and knee shorts are acceptable. Robyn seems to be the only one with at least 3/4 length sleeves and always has pants on. Kody took Christine and her kids to Vegas for a vacation. They both loved Vegas. I've read about even stricter groups of plural family members going there on vacation. Why would such religious people go there on vacation? I've always thought these two were not being respectful to Janelle. I can't remember the two oldest boys being like this on camera. Talking garbage to your mother. That is one major thing my dad wouldn't tolerate was being disrespectful to your mother. Then again at some point boys need a dad around, to be there in what is a rough time. Have they moved back out there yet? I thought she was still living at Gabe's?
  6. Is there a risk of it catching fire from the fireworks? That might have some bearing, on putting a stop to it. I know sometimes my city has a ban, but no one pays any attention to it. We are even in a drought right now and the grass is dried out in some of the yards. But I expect to start hearing fireworks by this weekend.
  7. Odd. I've never noticed that, or better yet never looked. I know my dollar general has 1 self check out. My family dollar doesn't.
  8. Would like to see some actual courting. Unlike the one time they show Kody going to visit. Just from some of the other accounts I've read, about other families that have met potential new sister wives. It is very uncomfortable. There is no way it could be happy. Another woman is coming in and you will have even less time with your husband. But you are expected to be happy about it.
  9. Why would you move to one of the most expensive cities to live in? But then again if all 4 are sharing the rent, it might work out.
  10. Well, in her defense....until I watched a few people online, I would have never considered eating vegetables at breakfast. Like chef AJ I think that's her name. She said the average adult should be trying to consume 2-4 pounds of vegetables and fruit every day. She said she frequently consumes at least a pound of vegetables at breakfast. I've heard of the grated zucchini in oatmeal, but have never tried it.
  11. I was going to ask if it was your right or left. It's hard when both hands are not free to help.
  12. I think they are veins.
  13. I generally like the Galveston area, because it gets the gulf breeze. But just inland in Houston it's like being in a sauna. I love Houston, but try to avoid it in the worst heat of the summer.
  14. I saw that. Plus they also have Pillow case covers.
  15. I think it was already filled in when they bought the house.
  16. That's what I remember reading to. While working out in the yard, they found what was a pool.
  17. I'm from Texas and that area where the ranch was supposed to be was west of Marfa, Texas, which is high desert. I thought the same thing. It's mostly scrub land. You have to have a lot of acreage to graze them. Texas has several different geographical areas with different terrains and weather. I live in the greater DFW area and we border on the central plains and the coastal plains areas. Sometimes called the Prairies and Lakes area. So you don't need as much acreage here for raising cattle, because pastures are full of grass, most of the time. It's a little over 100 out there today in the Marfa area, but gets in the low 60's at night. I've been north of Flagstaff and it is also considered high desert, but it wasn't as hot as West Texas gets. It's a pretty area, but sparse vegetation on the ground unless they get some rain.
  18. I might have to try this pillow. I mostly sleep on my side. I probably suffer from Sciatica and other issues. I have spent most of my 40+ years of working on my feet. With part of that walking between 7-12 miles in a 12 hour shift, depending on how much stuff I had to move. So my joints sometimes ache. I also know I need to replace my mattress. Maybe I could sleep more comfortable.
  19. Same here. I'm looking for something cheap to do, possibly not going very far. I think I might have found a small house rental at a lake about 2 hours from me. With a pool. I doubt I will even do any sightseeing, taking a book I started last year but haven't finished. Just stop at a Walmart and get some cold groceries, bring the rest from home. Maybe 3-4 days, depending on the price. Can't really afford to take a real vacation.
  20. Could be that they were not posting the photos, because of filming. Or maybe Mykelti just wanted them to be private.
  21. My daughter used Noom for the 4 month recommended plan and she had no problem not renewing. She just set up a reminded on her phone to cancel it a few days before the 4 months was up.
  22. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Gramto6. Hope your day is wonderful 🎂
  23. True. You would think they would at least keep a copy of each catalog.
  24. I don't understand this. It's moving day. Why don't you have Grandma and Grandpa watch the little's for the day. That way you don't have to be slowed down by keeping an eye on them and taking care of them. Then again, it's not like they were putting the houses on the market anytime soon, so they were probably only taking what they needed at the time. Coming back latter for the other stuff. Would have been the ideal time to rent a large dumpster and for everyone to get rid of things they don't need, because Christine and Janelle both had to go down to smaller houses.
