  1. It may have been. I'd have to consult the googles. I thought the way they were sympathetic with Capt Lee was nice and showed they weren't as bad as most attention-whoring-wannabee charter guests.
  2. I didn't remember ROII being such a drunkard mess on their first time on the show. I was horrified for the rest of the guests. They have had some good charter guests on the varoius BD shows before - the Touhy's, the guests who lost a child to addiction and the lady with cancer were some that I remember. Maybe not the shit-show drama we've gotten used to, but a far cry better than a lot of the mess. They seemed more like people who would charter a Mmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeega Yacht! Also, if we keep having to hear Sandy say she couldn't diagnose Matt's medical issue (or anything else this season) because she has to follow protocol (maritime law) to try to save face from previous seasons, I will lose my head. Jeezum crow! We're on Ep 04 and we're still hearing that clip. She also said she was going to drag him back to the boat and on WWHL she said something about he could have sat on a stool and directed the other staff to cook while his knee rested. She could have handled talking to him about it a lot better than she did given that it was more obvious he was having a mental breakdown. Maybe talk him off the ledge and refocus....
  3. She did say "pop your penis". I think that's the frontal-twerking-air-humping maneuver he did. [eta: I do not think that anyone needed to see a closeup of his crotch with his Nigerian manly bits flopping around in boxers. Episode should have had a PG-17 or even an R-rated disclaimer before any of their bathtub scene aired. AVERT YA EYES!!!!!]
  4. So many things....... Yara & Jovi - put the baby to bed and let everyone talk around the table for a while. They may even help clean up the mess for you! Best part of a good holiday is sitting around chatting with family. Jovi is probably used to partying all the time because I'm sure there's not much else to do while he is overseas working. He exhibits a lot of the same ways of a sailor who's been on deployment. Tiffany - quit thinking cold-shoulder shirts will make you look thinner or sexy by showing skin. Give Ronald a break on the kid thing. He's probably not had any experience with that young of a child. I did agree that the spending was a little out of control. Except for the cereal - seriously who measures out an exact portion of cereal? They could certainly eat that much cereal in a couple of weeks! lol. Ronald could have had a little more food in the house to get them through a meal or 2 until they could go to the store together and get what they'd need for their stay. How would he know what all to get without her input? Natalie - Hard to believe that after nasal surgery instructions would be to flush out one's nose hours after surgery. Shouldn't there be some time for a little healing to prevent bleeding? Chuckles - If you're that good of a flipper, explain to your crotch-spawn that you can handle running more than one flip at a time, one for the crotch-spawn and one to teach Andrei with. He needs to grow a pair and stand up to them - it's your business, tell them it's your way or the highway! Angela - Horrid scene. Unnecessary. Stuck with an Earworm that I can't even think of the whole/real song. I'm left with Glooooooooooorious! My Clitoooooooooooorious! running through my head. Get out of the tub and into a shower more often to wash that thing properly and see your gyno for some cream.
  5. Indy Cars and F1 cars are designed to have the pieces come apart like they do to help dissipate impact. The drivers cage is usually constructed in a way to keep them safer. I used to go to the Indy Car races every year and saw a lot of horrible wrecks where the driver walked away and only a couple where there was serious injury.
  6. I've been served "stuffed" peppers at friends' houses before where they take a jalapeno, cut off the stem and cut it in half. Fill it with a cream cheese mixture and sometimes wrap a piece of bacon around it. Toss it under the broiler or on the grill. Maybe that was similar to what she was making? Growing up, Mom used to take a big bell pepper, cut off the stem and seeds. Stuffed it with a meatloaf like mixture, poured tomato sauce over the top and baked. I cannot eat green bell peppers to this day (decades and decades later). Amber massacred those peppers. She cut almost half the pepper off instead of just cutting out the stem and seeds. What she had left wouldn't hold piddly-squat. Any filling would all fall out. With the type of peppers she was using, you could use a seafood salad or tuna salad type mixture without cooking them.
  7. I agree! I think that the emphasis on who is there for the wrong reasons has taken over the show over the last couple of years and is just getting worse and worse.
  8. I always thought the exotic destinations made the whole premise unrealistic to finding a lasting relationship in the real world. This having them confined to a hotel/resort, locked up like they're on Big Brother or something is boring. I remember in early years seeing the contestants goofing around the house, swimming, working out, hanging out.... not just dates, cocktail parties.
  9. I used to think the show was pretty farfetched with all the places they traveled. The covid format for the show makes it unwatchable. The stuff they're coming up with to try to make it entertaining is draining and cringe. Too much having 2 hosts and Katie acting like teenagers and humiliating the guys, too much nonsense trying to create more drama. We need some Swiss Alps or a Greek island to give us some variety.
  10. They all mangle pronunciation of words, misuse $5 words and couldn't get a cliche right if it bit them on the butt. It's almost like they're talking in baby talk, trying to be cute.

    Twist TV

I ran across a new (to me) channel this weekend, Twist TV. It started in April 2021 and has shows from 15-20 years ago. It's available over the air or some cable services. I looked around to see if any of these had been discussed on the forums and the only one I could find was Dance Moms. Some of the shows were a hoot to watch - a mix of cringe and corny. Here are some of the shows they have so far. Candice Tells All Clean House Dance Moms Decked Out Dr. 90210 Fearless in the Kitchen Flipping Out For Better or For Worse The Science Zone Tabatha's Salon Takeover Now I have another option of something to have on in the background while I am in my home office. Game shows on Buzzr were getting too familiar. https://www.watchtwist.com/
  12. If they awarded points for the rankings each week by sales and extra points for winning challenges, that would be good. Similar to the way that I know NASCAR does for driver's standings. They really should take into account the overall season performance, food quality, etc. and not just base if off of the total sales. I don't eat out that often and I do realize that menu prices have increased a lot (especially for fast food?!?!?), but their pricing is out of hand on the show. Then you see local food trucks pricing every item so that you would spend over $20 for 1 person to have a main, a side and a drink. It's nuts. Everyone should know that this type of food truck has the best food and prices. Not the artsy-fartsy-overpriced-"gourmet" trucks. lol
  13. IIRC earlier on, they had a final "race" at the end on one season where they had to complete selling and challenges. The winner was the one who found Tyler first. I think there was some backlash about that because the one that lost had done more sales or was better liked by the public or something. Some accusations of cheating? Then they seemed to change the finale.
  14. When they were discussing possible matches, I swear I heard them say something that matching either Bao or Johnny with someone who is a "neat freak" would not be a good idea. Maybe I misheard. Either way, it could be a mess. I do believe that the couple that one knows the other is Bao and Johnny.
  15. https://www.fox4news.com/news/multiple-young-women-accuse-north-texas-reality-tv-star-bill-hutchinson-of-sexual-assault More coming forward.... He's beyond perv.
  16. I was thinking the along the same lines as they introduced the people that they would match the clashing types together. Dr Pepper saying something in the intro about what a great job matching they've done in the past got me screaming at the TV "Have we been watching the same show?" I must have missed something.
  17. First thing I thought of when I saw this was Duggar! *just change the "get a job" to "get married"
  18. Glory Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! God has spoken! It is his WILL! Glory to God! It is a blessing that the Lord has put it on the hearts of TPTB at TLC to cancel the show! **couldn't think of all the exact fundie wordings they use
  19. II think they did over dramatize it for the show. Those rolling blackouts were awful because it seemed like some people were hit more often with them than others. Some would have power for 15 minutes then out for hours instead of 15 minute outage every few hours. Then when the "rolling" became a 2+ day long time frame for some of my friends and coworkers.....they were beyond cold and stressed.
  20. I wondered how long their power was out during Texas Snowmageddon 2021. Unless they have a fireplace in the bedroom, hiding out in the bedroom with the kids to conserve heat was a terrible idea. The other thing to keep heat in is to keep drapes or curtains closed. With a baby as young as theirs, they should have been looking to stay at a motel or with friends or family with power. They didn't seem to have an issue with feeding the baby a bottle. So it seems a bit sus. It was damn cold here in North Central Texas. Also, if their power was out for very long, they would have been worrying about frozen and busted pipes when the power came back and it warmed up (above 30*) outside. I was fortunate not to lose power but so many of my friends did and it was not pretty.
  21. I figured that production must have given them some quantity of the ingredients they had chosen in the forage challenge to use for their specials. For the forage challenge, I remember seeing them dump out the contents of their collection jars and sort through them. Would have been more interesting forage challenge if they'd been tasked with getting 1 or 2 ingredients from each table. Then they would take the whole jar from the table and be the only one that could use that ingredient.
  22. Is it just me or did anyone else notice the nonsense where she flipped over the razor? Before she flipped, it showed her driving and wearing a regular shoulder strap seat belt. When she was hanging upside down, it looked like a a 3? or 5? point harness. Looked like she had black, vertical straps over both shoulders and not the grey, diagonal belt. Then when she picked up the contestant for their date, they were in regular shoulder strap seat belts. I can't run it back because I was watching On Demand and I'd have to start the whole thing over at the beginning. If it was a regular shoulder strap seat belt, I don't think it would have held her so securely to the seat when she rolled it.
  23. Do you think that if they would remember to put Lilah's glasses on her, Lilah might notice she's the only one not wearing shoes?
  24. The mispronunciation of words aside, I've noticed that a lot of them try to use some "$5 words". They're not only mispronounced or just butchered in general, but they don't seem to know what they mean because they don't make sense in whatever they are talking about. I notice that on episodes where they're discussing business (farm, family, divorce, etc.) or trying to be philosphical. Makes things more obviously scripted because they're not typically words people would throw around in a conversation.
  25. I recorded tonight for the option to fast forward. Read everyone's comments here and I have so many things I could add. The one thing I'll add now...... Why is Andrei driving the RV? Because he's probably the only one with any type of valid driver's license.
