  1. This is my only exposure to him, but I love a dry, deadpan sense of humor in a man, so I thought he was funny. I don't know. I know men like this. They usually have good hearts. But like I said, this is all I've seen of him, so who knows. And I really don't like women like Kristen and her "squad," so anybody who makes them squirm is a-ok with me.
  2. So is Brett Tutor from Trading Spaces her latest boyfriend, or are they working together? Just a cursory glance at their Instagrams makes one wonder... Oh, and apparently a new season starts tonight. Not sure if my DVR is still picking this up. Guess I'll find out.
  3. I think it was Viki and Riva. The couple really liked their dramatic cake. Sabrina and Regina got dinged for their time management and not being able to decorate their cake like they would have liked, but they had the best tasting cake and that saved them.
  4. I gave up on this type of reality show a long time ago, but for nostalgia's sake, I thought I'd check it out. I just cannot with Kristen and her staff. But Jay is freakin' hysterical. I will tune in just for his scenes. And I know absolutely nothing about football and only knew his name in relation to Kristen before, but he is a comic goldmine, which this show really needs because self-absorbed Kardashian wannabees are not interesting at all to me.
  5. Yes, she was highlighting the part of her body she liked, and she wanted to downplay the parts of her body she didn't, like every other woman on this earth no matter what their size.
  6. Interesting points, SunnyBeBe. If you haven't already read the discussion on the episode, it starts on page 3, April 3 post.
  7. Yeah, I hate when they don't update their episodes at the end when the person is no longer missing. I remember the one about the 17-year-old. Are you thinking the father was involved somehow?
  8. That's interesting @Miss Chevious because I was so bugged by how Britt looked in her strapless gown. When she was trying them on, the bust seemed so low. I thought they would fix it with tailoring, but it still looked low to me. I just wanted to tug it up. I thought Shelby looked beautiful, and her dress was very flattering. I thought Britt looked beautiful too, but I felt like she had capsulized implants or something that were messing with the strapless look of the gown.
  9. Silly question here, but do deer normally float down rivers like that? At first I thought maybe it was injured, but it hopped out and got away from Britt okay. Maybe deer have their own version of tubing :p
  10. No problem. I was just commenting on the mom in that post because I had commented on the overall episode earlier. I think they were both assholes and enjoyed the battle, and I really don't know how he got away with killing three people, but I also know we don't get all the details in these shows.
  11. Ugh, so much this. And I really do not understand what man bags have to do with anti-bullying. It just seems so shoe-horned in. They were complaining to the Diaper Dude guy that the domestic violence thing didn't feel organic or whatever, and this feels even less so. I'd really love to know the real story behind this.
  12. This showed up on my DVR. To save me some time, there was no new footage, just repurposed stuff? Thanks!
  13. My post said nothing about not believing the daughter, so save your head shaking. My point was that she's a shitty mother for moving two guys in and doing drugs with them when she already had a boyfriend accused of molesting her daughter, and I don't think the feud was so much about outrage about her daughter but trying to control her neighbor.
  14. Thank you @Blergh and @Cobb Salad! The episodes make a lot more sense now.
  15. @Blergh, do you have any behind-the -scenes details on why Don Grady bolted? Did he ever make another appearance? TIA!
  16. Honestly I think the daughter of Angela in Fear Thy Neighbor was better off without that horrible woman. The whole feud started because one of Angela's boyfriends was alleged to have molested her daughter. Then she moves in two guys and does drugs with them while her daughter lives with her? I have no doubt the feud with her neighbor was much more about controlling him than any concern she had for her daughter.
  17. So now Marcus has done an about face again. Last week he didn't want to hear about loss when all he wanted was some sunglasses. But this week, screw the bag. It's all about raising awareness and money for anti-bullying. @Whimsy, I totally agree with you - I don't care one bit about the message. When the owner accidentally admitted that their link to domestic abuse was to make sales, I was like, yes, somebody is finally telling the truth. When I see all these products nowadays saying we will give thus and such for every widget sold, I'm like, screw you and your fake concern. You're just trying the newest marketing twist to sell something. And I really could not believe what I was seeing/hearing when Marcus brought in his employee from the outdoor company for the owner to practice for. He didn't want to hear about any damn bag. They can do bags anywhere, anytime, better and cheaper than the owner can. He wanted to hear the message!!! IDK, maybe I'm that out of touch with the younger demographic though and these are the things that they consider before purchasing a diaper bag.
  18. And then today Robbie is off in Peru, Katie is back with the Douglases, and Barbara has long hair! So was yesterday's episode the last one of Season 11 and today's the first one of Season 12? With no explanation at all of what happened in between?
  19. Just watched the first episode, and I really enjoyed it, to my surprise. Johnny can be a lot, but he was just right here. He and Tara are cute. I like the judges as well. And I thought maybe I was getting a little tired of these shows, because even though Best Baker in America had such great contestants, I just wasn't that excited about it. But this was really fun and entertaining. I also have to say I love the thread titles, @Maccagirl, and I don't think I've ever said that before!
  20. Oh, my God, I didn't realize it was that long. That's a long time to live in misery for both sides. I think they do get a perverse sort of enjoyment out of the conflict. All it takes is two pig-headed people to come up against each other, and they keep ratcheting it up until there's an explosion. This was the first time in a while I've watched this show because it just makes me so anxious. Plus the shows all seem so similar. There's not much suspense.
  21. I've just recently started watching this show. To me, everything seemed totally scripted apart from the trying on dresses, which seemed partially scripted. Lori's daughter was not a good enough actor to convince me she wasn't given a script and told what to say. The "cooking" scene at the beginning was totally scripted. I thought I'd try this since SYTTD has gotten so far away from the original intent, and I really actually like Lori and Monte and the sales people, so why do they have to write every word that comes out of their mouths and have these silly subplots, gah.
  22. I've been recording these and watching them for the first time. I couldn't even finish that episode it was so odd. And I'll never get the sight of Uncle Charlie in his red long johns out of my head. It's been fun to see little Jodie Foster in a lot of the episodes as Dodie's friend.
  23. Now I know what I'm doing for the rest of my evening - lol
  24. Good point @Jamoche. It reminds me of people who go to an online forum asking for advice, when they really want validation. When everyone disagrees with them, which they never anticipated, they have a meltdown and flounce.
  25. My DVR recorded it as a "first look," so I didn't watch since it's not the full episode.
