I always thought Christina was the most gorgeous one out of the earlier cast, followed by Cassie Steele after her glow up. They are so young and such bad actors. Most of them got better, some didnt' (Miriam McDonald I'm looking at you!) I forgot that Ms. Kwan was here from the beginning. Her and Perino were my favorite teachers.

Perfect @Scarlett45! That will give me some time to catch up. I was just saying last week that I missed this show and needed to do a rewatch. Even better to have folks to discuss with!

Gizelle Bryant: The Baddest Storyline Walking
luckyroll3 replied to eXiled's topic in The Real Housewives Of Potomac
Couple this with her never growing out of her mean girl phase....No partner wants to put up with that shit past the age of 22. -
Let me know when you're starting so that we can discuss as we watch.

I get that Tally is upset about what happened, but she joined the army during wartime. Following orders, making hard calls, and unexpected casualties including civilians all come with that and should be part of the expectations. It's fine if she wants to be idealistic and always do good, but if that's the case, then she's not in the right place. I'm not sure why Anacostia felt she needed to tell them about the coup. Seemed inappropriate to me, especially given all the other high ranking officials who were around. Word to your entire post @ursula.

Word to your entire post @ElectricBoogaloo. I was a fan of Condola's, but what she pulled with Issa was not fucking cool. If you're working together, just be professional long enough to get to the end and then pull whatever bullshit you want. That's one of my pet peeves. I also am not sure that it's PPD. I agree with you that Tiff is a box checker. Even more so, I think Tiff's expectations about having a baby were all covered in love and cuteness and rainbows. She wasn't prepared for the realities that come with motherhood - the long days being stuck at home (probably by herself) and sleepless nights, the exhaustion, the constant cleanup, the endless crying, etc. It wasn't at all what she expected or wanted, and she can't return the baby.

I thoroughly enjoyed all the mess! It started with Marlo reading scriptures to prepare. I was like: And the editing was so well done, I didn't even miss/notice that they weren't all in the same room. I also loved that Andy had the ability to mute their asses! "Them titties are social distancing!" I disagree, because if it had been Kenya who made that comment about a pregnant Nene, we wouldn't hear the end of it.

I never really pay attention to this show and I didn't bother to rewatch the end of last season, so I may have missed this, but where is Weller's kid? Is she with the mom in Utah (or was it Colorado)? Lots about this episode was really dumb, but totally not surprising. Goodbye Reade. (And good luck on the movie career.)
-
I wouldn't doubt it. Zach has interesting strategy of cheating on Jenna and then finding a way to make it her fault.
-
I'm so looking forward to watching Andy muting folks when they get out of control with the back and forth during the reunion. I'd have to seriously consider if I'd still watch if Phaedra's back. I also think she's vile. I have a hard time watching when Nene's on...

I agreed with everything you posted except this part. I think Issa is very supportive of their relationship. From the beginning, she's been pushing Molly to give Andrew a chance and see where they could go. What I think she's not supportive of is the belief that Molly can actually change and grow into someone who can have/work on a healthy relationship. It's interesting because all the shit that Molly would typically pull in her romantic relationships, she's actually pulling in her relationship with Issa. And Issa's not helping by constantly pointing out all the things that Molly has done wrong in the past, even given their "let's keep it real and hold each other accountable" mindset. Sometimes your friends just want to feel supported; they're both feeling that AND simultaneously missing that point during their interactions over the past few months.

I think they'd get along. I'd love to see Kandi and Vivica team up on some sort of adult entertainment venture, given Kandi's Dungeon/sex toys and Vivica's Black Magic shows.
-
Vivica is cracking my ass up with the not so subtle shade towards Nene She would actually make a great addition to the show. She and Kenya hate each other from their Celebrity Apprentice season, she don't take shit from nobody, she funny with no filter, and she's batshit crazy.

I'm hoping that they disappear. That might then light a fire under the rest of their asses to actually get in there and compete if it's not just a limited number, but also a diminishing number of skulls.

I would agree, except that Molly has clearly been hanging out with and or talking to the other ladies in their friend group. Molly made it a point to say to Issa that "they" (she, Tiffany, and Kellie) had decided the other day to keep the baby stuff "over there" this episode, and in a previous episode, all the ladies except for Issa knew about the samurai dick. She's been very intentional about excluding Issa from some things. I initially thought Issa came off worse too, but I don't now. As many have said, it wasn't that big of an ask. Also, when Issa called, she said she needed to talk about something and Molly IMMEDIATELY launched into her own life issues without bothering to ask Issa what was going on. And @rozen called it correctly - Molly is used to Issa being her therapist and Molly doesn't like that that part of their relationship has changed. Word to ALL of this!

Where has the crotchety editor been the entire season? He's fucking awesome!

This gonna be rough!

I think Nene put Yovanna up to recording the audio and encouraged her to share about it on the show. And when Yovanna changed her mind only to say that she lied about the entire thing, it pissed Nene off. Again, her reaction when the ladies where asking her about it in the unseen footage is so strange. Cause if she knew there was in fact audio and apparently a transcript (did Yovanna transcribe the tape personally?) and she had that text, why wouldn't she just call Yovanna out about it instead of sitting there quietly. The whole thing rings of a set up that fell through and Yovanna is the easy scapegoat because she was already coming across as desperate anyway.

Kenya Moore: Twirl! Twirl!
luckyroll3 replied to radishcake's topic in The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
This was interesting to hear some of this about Kenya: https://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-atlanta/season-12/episode-23/videos/has-kenya-moore-changed -
Nene's reaction, or lack thereof, during the Yovanna confrontation was very interesting. I kinda feel like she got caught in a lie and I'd bet money (and I'm super cheap) that she convinced Yovanna to say that about Cynthia so that she (Nene) could make Cynthia look bad. And now her rant about Yovanna on her youtube page (that someone posted in Nene's thread) makes a whole lot more sense, cause I was confused when she started going in because "that bitch" was her friend. But Yovanna spilled the beans and now Nene is pissed and it's all starting to piece together in my head.

Anyone else want to see a transcript of these various group chats. or is that just me? Mark is definitely gaslighting Kenya. He's over not doing a trip for his birthday, but he just had to share that he bought his own cake? And he can be in NY whenever he wants, but Kenya can't travel on the weekends for her businesses? He's a manipulative dick.

Not Alize, Henney, and Hpnotiq! That's the hoodrat trifecta. Dennis must have reminded Porsha of her video girl days.

Basically. They broke up a couple weeks/months after Issa's birthday in season one and this season is only a couple of months past Issa's next birthday (season 3's finale when they went to the park to watch The Last Dragon and where Issa met Condola was Issa's birthday gift). Chad's obsession with Bradley Cooper! LMAO! I guess he hasn't seen a Star is Born yet? Yo, I felt this. I dated someone who I was his first girlfriend, basically his first everything (TMI) and in the back of my head I was always like, well I'm guessing I'm teaching you this to benefit your next girlfriend...... Definitely cringed during that entire grocery store scene between Issa and Molly. When Issa hit Molly with that, "You gonna pull an old Molly and scare his ass away," I was like And then Molly hit Issa with the "At least I wasn't fucking for free weed and toiletries," I was like Where can I find "Fixing Sinks for Playas"? Lol!
